Calibration of Bimetallic relays Electromagnetic relays and static relays including safe release of relay from panel/testing relay and physical verification, cleaning attending minor defects, repair/adjustment, refixing, checking for correctness and restoring normalcy, handling of testing kits/equipment and maintaining of registers etc, as directed by the engineer in charge.

Maintenance of LT Modules below 45KW rating & breakdown works (once in 3 months).

Maintenance of LT Modules and Breakers above 45KW rating regular & breakdown works (once 3 months).

Testing of AVR/Testing of Generators / Testing of Power transformers / Testing of 110KV Breakers Contact Resitance/Testing of 110KV Breakers Open Close Time / Testing of 11KV Breakers /Testing of 11KV Bus duct /Testing of Diode wheel in Exciter/Testing of Switch yard interlock circuits/Cleaning of 11KV bus duct & 415V bus duct / Conduting Load test on 125 Volt and 220 Volt Battery set/ Cleaning, checking of tightness, testing of IR value in MCC LT Bus bars.

Testing of Unit I to IV Generator space heater and panel heater / Checking the terminal tightness of CCR panels /11KV Switchgear panels /415V Switchgear panels / SCR panels / FWPH panels/ GT protection panel / GT Marshalling Panel /RTCC Panel /OLTC panel / Terminal Tightiness of draw out type 11kv & 415v CTs/PTs in GAC, MCC, HT & LT Room / Cleaning of Cable Gallery trays / Terminal tightness of AVR Panel of Unit I to IV.

Maintenance of HT circuit breakers regular & breakdown works (once in 3 months).

Testing of IR value, BDV oil test, silica gel replacing works in Generator Transformer/ Station transformer / Collecting & sending of oil samples from Generator Transformer & Station Transformer to R&D lab for DGA test & BDV test /Generator Transformer OLTC gear box mechanism and Tap Position Indicator mechanism servicing work / Assist the R&D team for Generator Transformer Tan Delta test.

Calibration of voltmeter / Ammeters /Timers includes safe release of meter/timer from panel / testing of meter & meter and physical verification, cleaning attending minor defects, repairs /adjustments, refixing of meter/timer, checking for correctness and restoring normalcy, handling of testing kits / equipments and maintaining of registers etc, as directed by the engineer in charge.

Checking of control circuits and replacing the defective contactors /relays / Timers / defective control switches/ push button / Hooters / lamp holders / defective AVR panel cards / Annunciation cards / Testing of 415v CTs & PTs and control Transformer/GTOil line Valve leak attending works / Replacement work of defective battery /Battery Charger Cards in Unit I to IV & Auxlieries / GT Marshalling box / control panels / 415V SWGR / RTCC /OLTC panels / SCR, AVR panels.

Testing and replacing the defective Annunciation bulbs / indicating bulbs in various panels of Unit I toIV MCC modules/ GT Marshalling box/ control panels/ 415V SWGR/ RTCC panels and etc.,

Attending to defect in HT Breakers / LT Breakers / Testing of 110 KV CTs & PTs/Generator Transformer /110KV CTs / PTs oil leak attending work by replacing the worn out ‘O’ rings , gaskets and topping up of transformer oil & Nitrogen gas.

Testing of Unit 52AS and 52AR LT Breaker and its change over circuits / Replacement work of defective Limit Switch / Pressure Switch / Pressure Gauge /Spring Charging Motor / Carbon Brush in spring charging motor/ trip coil / Close coil / Control contactor of 110KV Breaker / Cooler fan / OTI / WTI /Topping up of SF6 gas /Replacement work of defective oil pump / OLTC motor.

Topping up of Transformer oil with filtering arrangements including rental and transporting charges of filter machine.

Testing of CO2 Fire Fighting System in Unit I to IV.

Cleaning of all Field Instruments like Gauges, Switches, Indicators, Speed Pick-ups, Solenoid Valves, Scanners, Spark Plugs, Vibration Sensors and Smoke Detectors in Unit I to IV and Auxiliaries.

Cleaning and Terminal tightness MARK - IV PLC Modules, Cards, I/O Modules, CIM Modules, AIO Modules TCM, PSM and Relay Modules etc of Unit I to IV.

Maintenance Work in DCDB Modules / Terminal tightness checking in Junction Boxes and Modules, Ignition Transformers in Unit I to IV and Auxiliaries / Checking the terminal tightness of street light pole junction boxes & Cleaning the dome of Street Lights..

Routine maintenance of Intercom/ Page & Party System, CCTV/ LAN/INTRANET and Taking Energy Meter reading /Cleaning of Tube light fitting.

Carrying out works in field instruments such as Pressure gauges & Switches, flow meters, level indicators , Temperature gauges & switches for any leakage of oil, air, water & fuel and checking readings for correctness and analysis if necessary and attending the defects noticed if any.

Maintenance and Rectification of indoor and outdoor lighting such as tube light fittings, LED normal/flood Light fittings etc., below 4.5mtrs height.

Maintenance and Rectification of indoor and outdoor lighting such as tube light fittings, LED flood Light & street light fittings etc., above 4.5mtrs height.

Maintenance of LT Motors below 25HP/18.5KW rating regular & breakdown works (once in 3 months).

Maintenance, Testing and Calibration of pressure and temperature gauges, pressure, temperature, level and flow transmitters /switches/ Flame Scanners, Spark Plugs / Level Switches / Limit Switches / Level indicators / Pick- ups / Vibration Sensor//Smoke Detectors/ Fire Detectors / RTD / Thermocouples/ ON/OFF Solenoid valves / Maintenance in Control Panel in Inlet Air Filter of Unit I to IV and Auxiliaries Panels related to C&I Control panels etc.

MARK-IV control loop checking of signals in Units I to IV through functional verification of pressure/temperature transmitters, switches, RTDs, thermocouples, flame scanners, transducers, etc.

Maintenance of Lighting transformer’s Regular & Break down. (once in Three months)

Maintenance of LT Motors above 25HP/18.5KW regular & breakdown works (once in 3 months).

Checking Earthing connection in Motors, Transformers and Modules, etc.
