Strengthening of tower legs of 220KV Kanpur South- FatehpurPGCIL & Naubasta-FatehpurPGCIL D/C T/L. Work is to be carried out at following locations.. Loc no. 79- 01 leg, Loc no.80-01 leg, Loc no.89-01 leg, Loc no.97-01 leg, Loc no.120-01 leg, Loc no.124-01 leg, Loc no.125-01 leg, Loc no.133-02 leg, Loc no.167-01 leg, Loc no.-168-01 leg, Loc no.169-01 leg, Loc no.170-01 leg, Loc no.181-01 leg, Loc no.182-01 leg, Loc no.185-01 leg, Loc no.186-01 leg (Total=17 legs) The scope of work is as under:-

Breaking of chimney at least 1000mm below ground level and 300mm above ground level at above location of line , proper cleaning of stubs with hard wire brush/grinder etc to remove concrete completely from the surface of stub & then making holes on the stubs and fixing of additional Galvanized Angle of suitable size (to be provided by the corporation) including fabrication if required, at both sides of stubs approx. 1200mm long with nuts & bolts and then proper welding with stub in the length of 200mm interval and then painting of welded portion with Zinc rich primer paint and making chimney of proper size with 1:2:4 (Cement:Sand:Concrete) with 20mm granite stone upto length of at least 1000mm with proper curing for 7 days & all associated work to complete the job satisfactorily as per tech. specification including cost of labour, material, earth & T&P etc. as various loactions of line.
