Excavation for taking out brocken CI/DI pipe line upto 200/150mm dia, cutting of CI/DI pipe line upto 200mm dia at two portion with the help of electrical driven pipe cutter and levelling the cutting face of pipe with the electric driven grinder and then CI/DI welding by electric welding machine, fixing detacheble joint, tail piece etc then concreteting by PCC (1:4:8) type D-2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation filling and mass condrete, after repair of same pipe line, returning filling of excavated materials including removal of surplus soil complete all as specified.

Removing of acumulated earth of any width and depth up to 30 cm. cleaning/cutting the grass and removing the grass waste to outside MD land. Note :- The unit rate is deemed to be included :- (a) Cutting and filling shall be cleared of shrubs, vegetation, grass bush, weed, trees and sapling not exceeding 30 cm in girth, measured at a height of two metre above ground level. Useful material shall be stacked. (b) Cutting the grass/feilling of trees shall include digging out roots up to 60 cm below the ground level or 14 cm below the formation level, whichever is lower. Cleaning of service tanks of the capacity as mentioned below on roof top of bldgs upto five storrey after disconnection from inlet and outlet pipe, removing of float valve of service tank and keep aside safely for reuse drain out water through drain plug, cleaning thoroughly to remove all scales and dirt by brushing internal surface, cleaning properly inside with soda wash, flushing out with fresh water, re-positioning of tank at same place, re-connecting inlet and outlet pipes, closing of drain plug, re-installation of float valve duly cleaned, writing/ labelling the record of cleaning carried out with white bold letter such as "TANK CLEANED ON"--------- (month and year), including removing creepers, vegitation and roots of plants, trees branches on or surrounding of service tank complete all as directed. Note:-(i) Unit rate quoted is deemed to be included for testing of water supply in tank both inlet and outlet flow during next supply hours early in the morning or late in evening. (ii) Contractor shall maintain a pucca bound register for cleaning carried out with date and obtain users signature and remarks if any and this register to be submitted alongwith RAR. (iii) Contractor is liable to rectify any damages to the external finishes of the bldg occured during the cleaning process, i.e. scrubbing and touch up with external paints as existing specifications. Unit rate quoted is deemed too be included the cost of the same. (iv) All sort of petty T&P items such as ladder, safety equipment, nuts, bolts, washers etc. required to accomplish the job shall be provided by the contractor with out any extra cost to dept.

Note :- The tendere shall take into consideration for following points while quoting his rate for this item and the unite rate is deemed be included for :-

(i) Earth work excavation in any type of soil

(ii) Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc. 25 cm thick complete all as specified and as directed.

(iii) Removing excavated material to out side MD land

(iv) Laying of any type/any bore of pipe in trenches including taking down any description. Supply of pipe will be measured and paid separately

Rectification of defects related to water flow to the service tank, removing and cleaning of float valve/ gate valve/ union socket etc of GI/PPR pipes of diameter upto 40mm dia, clear the blockages to ensure smooth flow of water by putting necessary techanical efforts all as directed. Note :- Contractor is liable to employ his staff during water supply hours (early morning and late evening hours) to ensure rectification of the defects.

Fixing only GI tubing med grade 15mm dia with all fittings and fixtures including taking down old pipes complete all as specified and directed.

Fixing only GI tubing med grade 20mm dia with all fittings and fixtures including taking down old pipes complete all as specified and directed.

Note for item No 82 to 86 :- (a) The pipes will be issued from MES yard through USR to the contractor under Schedule B, free for fixing only. Cost of necessary pipe fittings and clamps are deemed to be included in quoted rate. (b) Ecx and earth work if required will be measured and paid separately.

Notes for all items :- (a) The contractor shall maintain a record of all urgent work at and if the work is repeated due to poor workmanship, he will be liable to repair the same without any extra expenditure to the Govt.

(b) The penalty shall be applicable to the contractor if the delay is noticed by the Engr-in-Cahrge more than twelve hrs after handing over works of urgent nature to the contractor. The Engr-in-Charge shall handover the slip containing specification of work to the contractor by lodging the time and signature of contractor be obtained on slip. The contractor shall attend the complaint immediately and shall report to Engr-in-Charge with in 12 hrs. The contractor will keep his tradesmen in stand by for attending any routine / urgent works from the executive. If the nature of job is such that the work cannot be completed within period of 12hrs then the facts shall be brought to the notice of the GE/Engr-in-Charge and the period for the working to the complaint shall be decided by the GE/EIC. If the delay is more then twelve hrs period and the GE is not satisfied with the reason for delay then penalty at the rate of Rs 50/- per job shall be deducted from the dues of the contractor. Please note that this penalty is exclusively other then the condition 56 of IAFW - 2249 and shall be treated as interim condition of the contract and shall be enforceabove as and when delay in individual job is noticed and no claim whatsoever on this account shall be entertained by the Deptt.
