MAINTENANCE/ REPLACEMENT WORKS TO OLD/ UNSERVICEABLE LT UG CABLES, LT PANEL COMPONENTS AND OTHER ACCESSORIES IN PERIMETER AREA AND TECHNICAL AREA AT INS RAJALI ARAKKONAM

Amount

Excavation in trenches, not exc 1.5m wide and not exc 1.5m in depth for taking up/ laying cable etc., and getting out for soft /loose soil complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25cms for soft /loose soil complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Removing excavated material not exc 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply and lay standard size common burnt clay building bricks sub class 'B' for cable protection, laid dry complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Relaying of reusable bricks as obtained from item ser No.01 here-in-before complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Spreading riddled earth as obtained from item No.01 here-in-before in cable trenches complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply and lay pipe galvanised iron tubing light grade of 50mm dia in trenches /under road or floor /on wall / near pole /panel etc., including taking out the corroded old pipe complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply and lay pipe galvanised iron tubing light grade of dia 80mm dia with all fittings and fixed to wall/ pole/ under road/ culvert/ drain or laid in floors including taking out the corroded old pipe complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Material and labour for cutting of bituminous road/ floor for laying of pipe/ cables not exc 1.5m wide and not exc 1.5m deep including refilling with material and watering well ramming compacting and making good with PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 suitable thick complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. Note: PCC shall measured and paid separately under respective item of schedule.

Material and labour for PCC in roof kerb or mud stops, rounded or chemfered on edges type, road cutting filling etc., PCC 1:3:6 (Using 20mm graded stone aggregate) complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Taking up existing old/ unserviceable/ burnt under ground cable from the existing positions/ trenches etc., including testing with the help of megger, disconnecting and removing unserviceable portion of cable complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. Note: (i) Excavation/ earth work shall be measured and paid seprately under relavent items. (ii) Retrived good bricks and sand from site properly stacked and reused as protection to UG cable. (iii) Serviceable portion of cable shall be relayed as directed and shall be measured and paid separetely under relevent items.

Supply, fabricate, install and testing outdoor type LT bus bar chamber box of size 600x500x400mm from CPRI certified panel manufacturers made out of 3mm thick CRCA sheet steel powder coated with front and rear opening including locking facility with pad locks - 02 Nos and slanting cannopy on roof and mild steel channels base frame angles of 50x50x5mm in and including TPN aluminium bus bar of 500A capacity for looping and branch connection, the bus bar placed on suitable capacity insulators including danger notice plate on both side, neoprene rubber gasket to make it completely dust and vermin proof complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. Note: The quoted rate to be included for taking down old unserviceable PVC/ sheet metal boxes complete carefully and necessary cable connections for incoming and outgoing, new/ old cables with, aluminium lugs for connections along with necessary earth work and necessary brick staging of height not less than 45cms from ground level including plastering and whitewash complete all as per site requirement.

Material and labour for earthing complete with GI earth plate electrode 600x600x6mm thick buried directly in ground with earth pit not less than 2.25m deep below normal ground level and complete earth plate connected to GI wire 4mm by brazing only with earth wire protected with light grade GI pipe 15mm dia bore including 20mm bore water pipe medium grade GI tubing including GI funnel, wire mesh, alternate layers of charcoal and salt crystal as per electrical plate No. 03 of SSR Part-I and removal of the excavated surplus soil and depositing at the place where directed, including PCC pit in 1:3:6 type C-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate), RCC cover 40mm thick in RCC 1:2:4 type B-1 (Using 20mm grade stone aggregate) reinforced with 8mm dia TMT bars @ 7.5cm c/c both ways including RCC pit cover etc., watering the earth pit to acheive earth resistance not more than 02 Ohm including testing complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. Note: GI wire 4 mm, GI tubing 15mm light grade upto 7.5m deemed to be included in the rate quoted by the contractor and beyond 7.5m shall be measured and paid separately.

Surface excavation n.exc 30cms deep and average 15cms deep and getting out in soft/ loose soil including removing green vegetation, roots, bushes etc., from surroundings of poles, panels, etc., complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply and fix for MCCB 4 Pole, 415 V, thermal and magnetic release adjustable over load and short circuit type 200A with breaking capacity 25KA complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. Note: Including taking down old unserviceable.

Supply and fix for MCCB 4 Pole, 415 V, thermal and magnetic release adjustable over load and short circuit type 125A with breaking capacity 16KA complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. Note: Including taking down old unserviceable.

Supply and fix for MCCB 4 Pole, 415 V, thermal and magnetic release adjustable over load and short circuit type 100A with breaking capacity 16KA complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. Note: Including taking down old unserviceable.

Dismantling /taking out following size cable from existing feeder pillar/ LT panel and removing/ cutting burned end/ portion of cable including taking out loop for extension of cable upto required length and fixing /connecting the cable in existing position including necessary nuts, bolts, lugs of approriate size and refixing of cable gland complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge for following sizes: Note: The quoted rate includes necessary earth work if any and supply and fixing of lugs of required sizes.
