REPAIR TO VARIOUS TYPES OF WOODEN FURNITURE INCLUDING POLISHING/CANNING OF WOODEN FURNITURE UNDER GE (AF) BAMRAULI

Repair of under mentioned furniture items will be carried out as follows (Sl No 1.01 to 16.03):- (a) Removal of existing unserviceable material carefully without disturbing the adjoining parts from furniture articles as mentioned in the schedule.Supply and fixing new parts as per given specification and drg after tightening the joints, pinning, screwing, nailing, wedging, glueing,providing hinges, placing every part in-tact including polishing/painting the entire article with standard workmanship and as directed by GE/Engr-in-Charge.All furniture items is to be painted /poilshed only after making the entire item intact by tightening the joints. (Sl No 1.01 to 16.03) (b) Work will be executed where the furniture exist in different User Units/Md accns of GE (Air Force ) Bamrauli including BSO's Furniture Yard as directed by Engineer-in-Charge (Sl No 1.01 to 16.03):- (c) All Timber shall be of 1st class seasoned hard teak wood (MP teak ) free from knots and cracks else specified in drg. (Sl No 1.01 to 16.03). (d) Anti-termite and anti-bug treatment shall be done before polishing the wooden items. (Sl No 1.01 to 16.03) (e) M&L for melamine polish high gloss/mate finish with spray machine applying shellac,wood filler,shelar etc after removing of complete existing polish making surfae smooth by sand paper (Emery paper) with standard workmanship as directed by EIC to the following furniture articles of MES pattern viz F/DB/FD/MAP series/TP or Similar items incl applying wax for depressed surface as well as washing with caustic soda wherever required before polishing all as specified and all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Shade of polishing/pinting will be directed by GE/Engr-in-Charge. Note: All material will be used to execute the work should be supplied by contractor in full no peacemeal material will be execpted. There should be atleast one day gap in each step during polishing.(Sl No 1.01 to 16.03 except Sl No 11.01 to 11.07 ) ).

Bin Linen Multipurpose (FD/E6/MAP/09)

Cabinet box complete with vertical and horizental partitions made of 18 mm thick BWP grade plywood (Make: Green Gold from Greenply/Gold from Archidply/ Bond 710 from Century ply)) over which pasting of sunmica 0.80mm ( Make: Greenply/Archidply/Century ply) of shade approved by EIC/GE with suitable adhesive on one side and deco paint to be applied two coats on other side all as directed by GE/EIC and as per drg. Back ply shall be 12 mm BWR grade as per drg.

Cabinet door made out of 18 mm thick BWP grade plywood (Make: Green Gold from Greenply/Gold from Archidply/ Bond 710 from Century ply)) over which pasting of sunmica 0.80mm ( Make: Greenply/Archidply/Century ply) of shade approved by EIC/GE with suitable adhesive for both sides all as directed by GE/EIC and drg. SS Piano higes shall be used for fixing. Lock (Make: Hettich/Ebco/Quba/Klazovyn) and CP Handle 4" (Make: Hettich/Ebco/Quba/Klazovyn) be provided in Cabinet all as directed by GE/EIC and as per drg.

Drawer made of 18 mm thick BWP grade plywood over which pasting of sunmica 0.80mm of approved shade by EIC/GE with suitable adhesive as approved by EIC/GE in front, sides shall be of 1st class teak wood and bottom of drawer shall be 9 mm thick BWP Plywood complete. Telescopic channel (Make: Hettich/Ebco/Quba/Klazovyn) and CP Handle 4" (Make: Hettich/Ebco/Quba/Klazovyn) be provided in Drawers all as directed by GE/EIC and as per drg. Duco paint to be applied two coats in all surfaces except front of drawers.

Base Frame structure to be made complete with 25mm dia PVC shoe all as specified and as per drg.

Material and labour for replacement of Fancy Knob SS CP as per sample held in yard.

Teapoy (FD-278, 34)

Material and labour for replacement of Top 18 mm thick MDF board exterior grade (Grade I, Type-II) ISI marked (Action Tesa/Century Ply/Archid ply) duly post -formed with 0.6 mm thick laminate in colour/shade as approved by EIC/GE with 1.6 mm thick PVC edging of Make-Rehau/Pegasus/Kynex shall be fixed on two sides with strong bonded chemical adhesive through hot pressed machine complete rest all as per drg.

Note : Pure leather upholstry should be purchase from original OEM and shade shall be as approved by GE .Trade pattern/ Godrej/ Durrian complete all as specified and shown in drawing and directed.

Material and labour for in replacement of cushion of size 560 mm X 530 mm X 100 mm thick, 40 density (Model name :Primo of make Sleep well /Model name Goldline Plus of make :Kurlon), including tapesty cloth of best quality (cost not less than Rs.400/- per metre ) and stitching in required shade and colour including one side shall be left open by giving proper margin of cloth towards inside upto 2 inch for the purpose of washing to cover complete as per sample all as specified and shown in drawing and directed.

Supply and fixing cushion of size Chair dining map as per drg 40 density (Model name :Primo of make Sleep well /Model name Goldline Plus of make :Kurlon), including tapesty cloth of best quality (cost not less than Rs.500/- per metre ) and fxing over ply of suitable size required shade and colour complete as per sample all as specified and shown in drawing and directed.

Material and labour for dry cleaning for cloathing, textiles and upholestry using a chemical solvent other than water after preparation of surface including repair and stiching to the following furniture items all over complete and as directed by Engr-in-charge.
