Taking down defective electric motor, squirrel cage type of any make, from base plate after unscrewing nuts, bolts of foundation/ coupling (approx weight 600kg), 3 phase, 415/440 volts, 50 c/s, AC, capacity 60 HP, shifting the same to workshop, strip opening after unscrewing nuts, bolts/ screws etc. taking out rotor from stator, cutting and taking out burnt winding carefully from the stator, cleaning of slots, rewinding of stator with super enameled copper winding wire of appropriate size matching with manufacturer's design including replacement of all insulating materials such as glass paper, leathered paper, PVC insulated copper conductor wire connection leads of appropriate size with sleeves of suitable size upto terminal connection box, varnishing, drying up and re-assembling, re-fxing and re-installation at site and testing on load all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- Required T&P such as chain pulley block and tranportation shall be contractors responsibility. Repair/ replacement of shall be done within a period as intimated by the Engr-in-Charge falling which necessary recovery shall be made. (iii) Repair shall be done from any workshop within a radius of 5KM from GE(U) Chm.

Material and Labour for pumping out of water from the 50000 liter capacity under ground sump by means of suitable pumping set of appropriate capacity and thorough cleaning of the sump by rubbing, scrapping the surfaces and taking out all the foreign materials, silt, mud, sludge etc from the sump including vegitation from the unit and disposing off at low laying area, distance not less than 500 mtrs and applying two coats of white wash on the entire internal surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

Note- (a). Necessary T&P , pumping set, pipes etc shall be arranged by the contractor. Required safety equipments such as hand gloves, headgears, masks, gum boots, oxygen gas cylinders etc shall also be arranged by the contractor. Labour trained in cleaning of sewerage sumps shall only be deployed to carry out the above job. Entire responsibility for safety of the deployed labour shall be of the contractor and deptt shall not be responsible for any mishappening or any type of loss occured during the execution of above job. Unit rate quoted shall be deemed to include the cost of all the above factors and no extra payment shall be made for the same.
