ROOF TREATMENT OF OT / ICU BUILDING (P-27) AT AFH UNDER GE (AF) JORHAT

Amount

Demolition of cement concrete reinforced (reinforcement cut as required to facilitate demolition) of any description and any position as in roofs, floors (other than ground floors), beams, staircases, landing, chajjas and similar works and removing same from the site complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down Cement Plaster, any description on Brick Walls or Concrete Surfaces including raking out Joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with Water, etc., and removing same from the Site, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Rendering 15mm thick in Cement Mortar 1:4 on fair faces of brick work or concrete Surfaces including water proofing compound @ 3% and finishing fair and even without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed. Note : WPC shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item here-in-before.

Supply only integral water proofing compound confirming to IS and as approved complete all as specified and directed as per manufactures instructions.

M&L for Rendering 5 mm thick in Cement Mortar 1:3 on fair faces of concrete Surfaces as in ceiling finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparing newly plastered surfaces of ceilings and applying three coats of white wash complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparing newly plastered surfaces of walls and applying two coats of cement base paint complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparing old decorated plastered surfaces of Ceilings and applying one coat of white wash, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparing old decorated plastered surface of any description, on walls and applying one coat of cement base paint including washing, rubbing down and stopping of painted surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down Cement Plaster including existing roof treatment, removing all rubbish off premises out side MoD land.Cleaning throughly, washing with water to remove all dust etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Plain cement concrete 1:2:4, type B-0 (using 12.5 mm graded stone aggregate) as in benching, slightly rounding or chamerring on edges, filling undulations / depressions in roof surfaces, providing concrete platforms for tanks wherever required including use and waste of necessary form work complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting existing tanks exc 250 ltr and n exc 500 ltr capacity, setting aside (or lowering if required) for repairs, cleaning, etc. and hoisting if required reconnecting and re-fixing in position complete all as specified and directed.

Taking up or down steel water tubing 15 mm dia including connections and fitting complete all as specified and directed.

Taking up or down steel water tubing 20 mm dia including connections and fitting complete all as specified and directed.

S&F 15 mm dia steel water tubing, galvanised, "Medium Grade" with all fittings, fixed to walls, ceiling or laid in floor complete all as specified and directed.

S&F 20 mm dia steel water tubing, galvanised, "Medium Grade" with all fittings, fixed to walls, ceiling or laid in floor complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for water proofing treatment to RCC roof slab complete all as specified below and as directed including testing :- (a) Rendering 15 mm thick in cement mortar (1:4) using water proofing compound @ 3% by weight of cement on RCC roof slab, finished even and smooth without using extra cement maintained required slope and curved. (b) The roof surface shall be thoroughly wire brushed cleaned to eliminate all sharp projection, washed dried up and cleaned of all foreign material and dust to receive primer. (c) On the dried plastered surface, one coat of approved bituminous primer @ 0.40 Kg/Sqm shall be applied. (d) On this primered surface, APP modified bituminous membrane 3mm thick with non woven polyster reinforcement weighing not less than 3.60 Kg/Sqm finished shall be laid by torch application method. (e) Apply a coat of hot blown bitumen 85/25 @ 1.2 Kg/Sqm (f) The overlap while torching shall be 75mm on length side and 100mm on width side. (g) Preparation of new APP surface of roof applying two coats of bituminous based aluminium paint over the membrane. (h) The treatment shall be carried out as per manufacturer's instructions by authorised applicators only complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cleaning surfaces throughly to remove all loose particles dust, dirt oil grease etc which may effect bonding of water proofing treatment. Filling all opening of slab with polymer modified cement sand mortar admixture with sika raintite ( 1 Kg cement : 1.5 Kg sand : 2 ltr acrylic polymer and allow the same to air dry for 24 hrs. Moist the surfaces with water and try to keep the same in surfaces saturated dry condition. Apply one coat of elastic liquid applied crack bridging, 2 pack acrylic cementious water proofing coating with glass fibre fabric for coating. Reinforcement @ 1 Kg per sqm and applying elastic liquid applied crack bridging, 2 pack acrylic cementious water proofing coating @ 1 Kg per sqm complete all as specified and directed. Make : Sika / Fosroc / Bostik as approved by GE. Note:- The contract sum shall be calculated by deducting the amount shown in Credit Schedule attached to this tender, from total amount of Schedule 'A'/BOQ
