M & L for outdoor coloured ceramic tiles 8-9 mm thick ( square/rectangular) area of each tile exc 0.06 sqm but n exc 0.11 sqm in floors set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match over and incl 15mm thick screed bed CM 1:6, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for providing PMM including demolition existing treatment (Polymer modified cementitious mortar) :- (i) Dry sub strate surface and free of debris & dust (ii) Applying Epoxy bond coat on the sound substrate using approved spray machine & ensuring that no pin holes are visible.(In case pin holes are still visible after a coat, a second coat shall be applied to ensure absence of pin holes). (iii) Immediately after application of epoxy bond coat as above apply PMM (Polymer modified cementitious mortar) of 50 mm thickness. Note : Application of PMM shall be preferably be in coats of appx 10mm thickness. PMM work shall be executed in fairely rapid successions so as entire work is completed with in 30 mins). PMM shall be pre packed ready to use. (iv) PMM surface to be moist cured for three days followed by air curing in temperature as recommended by manufactuer (v) To be followed by CM 1:4, complete all as specified and directed.

S & F fittings like elbow/extension nipple/tank nipple/tee/union/socket/float valve/ball valve or any other fitting of GI/brass/steel/CP plated of size upto 25 mm (as directed by site upon requirement by Engr in charge), complete all as specified and directed.

Water proofing treatment to sunken floor and verticle comprises the following provisions as under:- (a) After demolition of floor & lime concrete etc removal all loose particle alongwith existing water profing treatment (any No of layer) with wire brushes and cleaning the surface with water.(b) Brushsing cement slurry with 1.2Kg/Sqm of cement duly blended with and including water proofing compound (Make -Dr Fixit). (c) 15 mm thick (average thickness) plastering in CM 1:3 mixed with WPC in sunken surface ,including wall . the corner of sunken portion shall be roounded in concave shape and adequate slope shall be maintain during plastering to accomodated sump pipe and ponding the sunken portion with water minimum 48 Hrs .(d) Applying self adhesive type APP base polymeric membrane minimum weight not less than 3.00 Kg /Sqm and mimimum 3mm thick laide over sunken floor and sides fixed with sealing compound at all joint to entire satisfaction of Engineer -in Charge .(MAKE-IWP, STP) (e) Filling the sunken area with Brick bats or PCC 1 :7:12 as in lean concrete under floor, complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for APP polymeric water proofing membrane minimum 3mm thick and weighting not less than 3.6 kg / sqm of make STP Texsa Ltd /IWL Ltd /MK Petro as approved by GE , black finished reinforced with non woven polyster matt (wt not less than 150gms/ sqm),with fusable finish laid over compatable bitumen primer at the rate of 0.35 Ltr/Sqm torching overlaps with a propane or abutane gas torch, with a over lap of 75 mm at the sides and 100 at the ends and sealing incl applying a coat of cold emulsion bituminous primer all as per manufactur's instructions incl two coats of aluminium paint above APP membrane also incl taking down existing treatment of any type with old plaster and and preparation of surface and 15 mm thick cement screed in CM 1:4 on roof of concrete surfaces finished even and smooth without using extra cement with mixing of water proofing compound complete all as specified (WPC shall be paid seperately) complete all as specified. Note : (i) The water proofing treatment shall be carried out by the manufacturer or their authorised applicators as approved by GE. (ii) If Electric fittings/fixtures/conduits/outdoor unit/wirings are encountered on roof the same shall be rerouted before the treatment and fitted back after the completion of roof treatment. Nothing extra shall be paid on this account and the rate shall be deemed to be incl in the quoted rates by the contractor.

Attending day to day complaint related to welder & black smith/carpeneter/plumber work alongwith helper for the repair to steel windows shutters,grills,doors,rolling shutters/wooden cabinets/plumbing & sanitary works and other related works etc including taking down, easing and refixing in the same position as reqd complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (1) the above task shall be carried out by deploying a min 01 welder having black smith skills/plumber/carpenter on day basis from 0900 hrs to 1700 hrs. (2) In case contractor fails to complete the above task as per scheduled programme a damage of Rs 500/- per day shall be deducted from his payment. 3) Necessary T&P, ladders,minor consumable viz welding rods/extras, welding machine, equipments and safety gear shall be provided by the contractor. 4) All maintenance material/accessories as reqd shall be issued from MES store to complete the maintenance task only ( as decided by Engr in charge) and dismantled old unserviceable item shall be deposited back to MES store yard. (5) The above work /task will also include for High rise bldgs and shaft area of high rise bldgs.

NOTES - The quoted rates by bidder shall deem included following: - (a) The work mentioned in all the items as above may be carried out in multistorey bldg (upto any storey) which may require scaffolding or Jhulla arrangements or any other T&P items which are deemed to be included in the quoted rates by the contractor. (b) All debris obtained from demolition/dismantling the items of any kind or type shall be removed from the site at daily basis or as directed to avoid any seepage/leakage from roof slab or any portion anywhere and deposited the debris out of the MOD land.
