Taking down or out existing cable of sizes 2/3.5/4 core 10 sqmm to 70 sqmm from the trenches / ducts/ along walls / poles / through poles / under roads/ inside sub station including segregation the serviceable cable by cutting down defective portion after testing by meggar (insulation tester ) , stacking and removing unserviceable cable for further disposal complete all as specified and as directed.

Laying only serviceable cable obtained from taking out in same or new location of size 2/3.5/4 core 10 to 70 sqmm in trenches / ducts/ along walls / poles /under roads etc. including necessary cable lugs, gland etc complete all as specified and as directed. Cutting/trimming/Chopping of tree branches along the over head lines of LT upto 5 mtr from elect line on both sides of the span and disposing off the cut trees/branches to a distance of n.exc 50m and clearing the site as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Scraping of old paint from single pole structure without removing accessories and preparation of surfaces for repainting. Repainting the poles with one coat of alternative white and black straps of 30 cm each upto 1.5 mtr height using synthetic enamell paint .Repainting the remaining Iron parts i.e. cross arms, supporting angles, XPM jali, clamps, GI bkt etc and steel pole above 1.5 mtr height by applying one coat of alumn paint or PCC pole with snowcem of approved color all as required at site or directed.

Restringing of over head line ACSR of any size and upto 5 wires in a span with GI earth wire of 4 mm dia of span length 30 to 60 m to permissiable sag incl PVC line spacer ,winding with Aluminium conductor and triming of branches of tree beside the span all as directed. Note Cost for Line spacer in between span is included in quoted rates

M&L for fixing in replacement of ACSR conductor any size drawn straight horizontal on over head lines on existing poles including binding with insulators. Weight of conductor shall be measured straight horizontal distance between centre to centre of two adjacent poles and calculating weight of conductor of size and length by adding 3% extra for sag, jointing jumpers, etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Taking down unsv PCC poles and M&L for steel tubular swaged pole type 410 SP-31 (9 metre long) with 300 mmx300mmx6mm mild steel base plate continuously welded to pole, finial taper, nut, bolts and screws all as specified including factory painted with two coats of black bituminous paint internally through out and externally for embedded portion and applying one coat of red oxide primer for the remaining portion and two coats of aluminium paint beyond 1.5M from ground level/coping and making 30cm black and white strips with two coats of super enameled paint up to 1.5M from ground level/coping, complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in tranches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m deep for foundation of laying cable including getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returning filling in including spreading watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm complete all as specifed .

Removing surplus soil to distance not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed .

M & L for protection to cable with one layer of brick laid flat across the cable using all size sub class 'B' Bricks.

Sand cushioning to under ground electric cables including watering and consolidation all as per clause 19.75 of SSR Part-I

M&L PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 (using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in foundation filling and mass concrete all as specified.

M&L PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in pole coping complete all as specified and directed including necessary from work.

Supply and fixing in replacement of shackle type insulators, porcelain, vitreous, brown or green insulator including galvanised mild steel straps, washers, insulators, bolts, washers and nuts, working pressure 1100 votls and size of 100 in height and 115 mm dia complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Suplying and fixing in replacement of Pin type, porcelin, vitreour, white, brown or green insulator, size 100 mm height, 65 mm dia for 1100 volts grade, conforming to IS: 7321-1931, complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for fixing in replacement of stay assembly complete with stay plate bow, stay rod of dia 16 mm and gavanised iron stay wire stranded of size 7/4mm and accessories as shown in electric plate No 1 of SSR Part-I (loop type insulator, stay clamps, excavation and concrete shall be measured separately) complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S&F PVC Spacer 2/4 way for LT over head line 1100 V complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
