Notes: 1. Cable shall be issued to contractor under Schedule 'B' free for laying. Quoted rate for the item shall be deemed to be inclusive of transporting the cables from MES store yard to work site. 2. S & F 2.5 sqmm 3 core copper cable (for phase, neutral & earthing) run through and including 20 mm dia PVC conduit properly clamped to pole from DB to fitting through bracket complete all as specified and directed. Note: 01 run of 3 core copper cable and 01 run of PVC conduit shall be measured as unit length

Excavating in trenches, not exceeding 1.5 m wide and n exc 1.5 m in depth and getting out in soft disintegrated rock for laying and taking down UG cable complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for providing cement concrete 1:3:6, type C2, using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in foundations, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick using excavated soft disintegrated rock complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material to a distance n exc. 50m and depositing where directed at a level n exc. 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and laying fine dry river sand to entire width of trench as cable cushion in trenches complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying and laying un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover for cable protection, class LV, type I, flat, size 250mm x 150mm x 40mm, ISI marked complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in repairs TPN 4-pole busbar box, outdoor type, made out of 3.15 mm thick CRCA sheet of size with 4 way aluminum bus bars of 200 Amp capacity for connecting heavy duty cables upto 3.5 core 150 sqmm as incoming and two outgoing cables along with 125 amps MCCB including lugs, glands, nuts, bolts & washers of suitable sizes, proper insulation for fixing 50 cm above ground level on pole / angle iron frame of suitable size, necessary excavation and PCC work complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in repairs danger notice plate 20x15 cm size, made of 1.6 mm thick mild steel sheet, vitreous enamelled white; with letters, figures and conventional skull and bones in single red colour and fixed with M.S. clamps, bolts and nuts of suitable size, for LT pole/ equipments/ lines complete all as specified and directed.

S & F informatory name board of size 1200 mm x 900 mm made of 2 mm thick aluminium sheet of specifications enumerated here-in-after, top level of board fixed at height of 3.00 m above GL, embedded in ground using PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 of min size 300mm x 300mm x 600 mm including necessary formwork, excavation and earth work complete all as specified and directed: (i) Aluminium sheet fixed on stainless steel rectangular frame using 25 x 15 mm rectangular pipe with 35 mm dia stainless pipe as outer border all around. (ii) 400 micron thick retro-reflective high intensity blue colour sheet pasted with heating process on both sides of the board indicating names of substations mentioned in item No 23.01 to 23.03 as directed in 75 mm to 100 mm sized white coloured letters, cut to shape with special plotter. M & L for earthing complete with steel earth plate electrode 60cm x 60cm x 6.3 mm thick buried directly in ground vertically, earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr below ground level, with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 mtr below ground level connected to GI earth wire 4mm dia by means of GI bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers etc including 20mm dia light grade GI pipe for protection of earth strip, connecting the earth lead to earth connection in the main distribution box with lugs and GI nuts, bolts etc as shown on electrical plate No 3 of SSR part 1 including neccessary earth work in any strata, PCC earth chamber in PCC 1:3:6 type C2, 100mm thick precast RCC cover and earth test point and testing complete all as specified and directed. Note: If desired earth resistance is not obtained on testing after completion, the earthing shall be redone without any extra cost.
