B1: Sewage Treatment Plant Construction of Sewage Teatment Plant of 1.10 MLD capacity based on Latest Technology such as MBBR including evolving of hydraulic & structural desigsn & drawings, planning, testing and commissioning followed by tertiary treatment such as by constructing wet land, multimedia filter, auto chlorination as per the provisions of Mannual on Sewerage & Sewage Treatment published by CPHEEO Manual (Latest edition). The Sewage Treatment Plant should be capable of treating domestic raw sewage having charactristics of BOD =350 mg/litre & suspended Solids =750 mg/litre and the characteristics of treated /disposable effluent should comply with the standards as per the norms of H.P. State Polution Control Board i.e. PH = 6.5- 9, BOD ≤ 10 mg/litre, COD ≤ 250 mg/litre, TSS ≤ 50 mg /litre,Fecal Coliform (MPN /1000 ml) <100,N - Total ≤ 10 mg/litre, NH 4 - N ≤ 5 mg/litre . The scope of work includs C/O 01 No. inlet chamber, 2 Nos. Screening channel with cleaning arrangement, 2 Nos.Grit channels and distribution box, 2 Nos. anoxicreactor, 2 Nos. MBBR tank, 2 Nos. tube settler, constructed wet land and multimedia filter, sludge drying bed, chlorine contact tank with required arrangement polyectrolyte solution tank with required arrangements,Sludge recycle system with pumping arrangement, Sludge dewatering system comprising of minimum 4 Nos sludge drying beds with 2 nos. overed roof and walkways for all units, Plant building including laboratory of reqiured class as per CPHEEO manual of Sewerage and Sewage treatment, Lab equipments & furniture, chlorine contact tanks with solution tank and solution dozer constant head- type, providing and installation of all mechanical & electrical equipments as per chapter No. vi(a), vi(b), vi (c), on line monitoring shall be provided for following parameters :-(i) At inlet chamber: PH, DO, total solids (ii) At MBBR : PH, 4 No. DO probes and sensor (iii) At CCT : PH, total solides, DO, residual chlorine, (iv) Air Blowers : Autoworking of airblowers (v) VFD (vi) SCADA system for online monitoring at automation room of STP (vii)Automation shall including all sensors, mimiics, acturate valves complete in all respect. It also includes site development for all civil structures,Boundary wall around STP & Providing and fixing of yard lighting around STP,C/O Paths,C/O Shed for dried sludge ,and providing and installation of 2 Nos. DG Set of required capacity and approachs, C/O Junior Engineer office Cum Complaint room etc. with in all leads and lifts complete in all respect as per the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.Operation and maintenance and comissioning of STP shall be taken on 180 days to achieve above mentioned effluent standards.
Excavation in foundation trenches (for pipes & pits up to all depths) in earth work in all kinds of soil such as pick work, jumper work, blasting in soft/hard rock, chiseling / wedgingout of rock (where blasting is prohibited) soft/hard rock and saturated soil including bailing of pumping out water etc. in all lifts including trimming and dressing of sides leveling of beds to correct grade including soring, strutting planking timbering and dewarting wherever required stacking the usable and un-usable materials/soil separately and after laying jointing & testing of pipes returning the usable soil to trenches in 15 cm layer including consolidating of such deposited layer by ramming and watering and then dispossing of all surplus excavated soil un-usable materials as directed with in all leads and lifts including restoration of un-metalled surfaces to its original condition and also including cost of diversion of traffic,night signals fixing caution boards crossing over trenches for access to houses , fencing etc.complete in all respects with in all leads and lifts as per the direction and to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge.
Laying , jointing & testing in trenches to be levelled to grade,centrifugal cement mortar lined ductile iron ( spun) pressure pipe BIS 8329/2000 class K-7 suitable for tyton push on joints including bends of all degree , tree collars , tappers if required , crosses short pieces, tail pieces, plugs of required number cutting pieces chamfering wherever required ( earth work in trenches and cost of joints to be measured and paid for separately with in all leads and lifts as per directions of Engineer-in-Charge 150 mm nominal bore as per IS 12228-1987 for code of practice for use and laying of ductile iron pipe with upto date amendments.

Operation & maintenance of the STP after its successful commissioning of 180 days to achieve the effluent standards laid down in the DNIT & CPHEEO Manual on Sewerage & Sewage Treatment. O&M period for next 3 years will be started . The O & M part envisages regular repair & maintenance of all the civil structures i/c their allied components, deployment of skilled and unskilled manpower of proper strength as per departmental norms, procurement of spare parts, oil/grease/lubricants & chemicals and any other material required for O&M excluding the cost of energy charges. It also includes proper cleaning, flushing, removal of all kind of slips/debris/slush,uprooting of unwanted grass/shrubs/weeds growing near the structures within the boundry of STP, oiling and greasing of moving parts, repairs/ replacement of worn out/damaged parts of mechanical/electrical equipments i/c pumping machinery, pipe lines, valves and safe disposal of the treated effluent up to final disposal point, maintaining regular/proper record of quantity and quality of sewage influent & treated effluent , time and hour run of pumping machinery,. and keeping the area neat and clean to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge,. All the operation shall be carried out as per the the terms & conditions of DNIT & CPHEEO manual on sewerage and sewage treatment (latest addition)/ IPH specifications & Norms ,and as per direction issued by Engineer-in-Charge from time to time and sound Engineering practice. .
