Long Galvanized Steel Octagonal Pole:- Supply of 7 mtr. long hot dipped galvanized octagonal pole cross- section continuously tapered made out from high tensile steel of minimum thickness 3mm complete with the base plate of minimum size 220mmx220mmx12mm along with inbuilt juntion box having connectors of Elmax/ Connectwell/ Essen/ Wago make for the cable termination and two or three terminals and one no. 6 amps Single pole MCB 10K C series rating (L&T, Legrand, ABB, Seimens, Scheneider) for each luminaire. The Junction box cover is to be welded with an extra steel strip ring around the pole for prevention of Junction box cover from theft. The octagonal pole should have bottom diameter of 130 mm A/F and top diameter of 70 mm A/F .The size of the poles and foundation bolts shall be suitable to withstand the maximum wind speed/ pressure as per IS-875 (PART 3) : 2015. There should be no any circumferential welding on the pole as per IS 10178: 1995/ IS 9595: 1996. The material of the pole shall comply with as BSEN-10025 2004/ IS 2062: 2011 grade 355 or equivalent. Poles should be hot dipped galvanized in single dip to 65 microns min conforming to IS2629-1958/BSEN ISO 1461: 2009. The material and specifications of fiange plate/base plate shall be as per IS 2062: 2011 Grade 355. The design of Octagonal pole should confirm to IS 875 Part 3: 2015 IS 800: 2007/ IS 6533 : 1989 (P-2). The design safety factor for the pole should be as per ILETR-7. The street light poles shall be erected in the existing RCC foundation with 4 nos. special foundation bolts 'J' type miniuum M20X600MM long J type duly threaded in existing RCC foundation of suitable size as per the approved drawing. The material of steel foundation bolts shall be confirming to grade EN-8 expposed threaded portion of foundation bolts shall be hot dipped galvanized. The octagonal pole should be of Valmont/ Bajaj/ Transrail/ Utkarsh only.( The cost of 7 mtr long S/L pole is including with 4 nos. | 3RCC Foundation for 7/8 Mtr. Long Octagonal Pole:- Design and casting of foundation with M-20 cement, concrete and steel reinforcement suitable for installation of 7/8 mtr octagonal pole. The foundation shall be provided with 2 no. of PVC/DWC pipe of 40 mm dia of suitable length to facilitate entry and exit of the cables in the pole through the foundation as desired by the Engineer-in-charge.
