GENERAL NOTES:

1. It is not necessary that all the items indicated below will be required to be supplied and installed. Some of the items may not be required to be supplied and the quantity to be supplied can also vary, as established based on detailed engineering drawings to be issued to the Contractor. 2. Final payment would be based on established rates and the quantities actually installed. 3. The "Description" of the items indicated are brief and the Bidder shall account for all the requirements of the relevant technical specification / data sheet / standard specifications / standard drawings etc. 4. Contractor is responsible for disposal of packing materials (wooden, thermocol, plastic etc.) of all own supplied items/ equipment inside refinery premises. Contractor will not be paid extra for such work. 5. Contractor shall submit test certificates (6 hard copies + 2 soft copies) for all contractor supplied items. 6. Activities related to dewatering of existing/ new underground work shall be planned & co-related with other relevant activities in such way that it will not have a repetitive impact due to subsequent ongoing activities. Contractor shall not be paid extra for such repetitive work.

TRANSFORMERS

Installation, testing and commissioning of transformers of 2.5 MVA rating 6.6 KV/415V ONAN, excluding the construction of foundation, including transportation from store/yard to site at the place of installation, unpacking, positioning in place, site assembly of loosely furnished accessories, including connection of auxiliary circuits, topping up with oil and testing of oil with contractor's own test equipment, including fixing of nuts and bolts etc., including all labour and materials, as per approved drawings, specifications of this tender and directions of Engineer-in-Charge.

Filtration of transformer oil by stream line filter machine provided by the contractor for improving the insulation strength of oil to the required strength, including all labour and materials, specifications of this tender and directions of Engineer-in-Charge. (Excluding the supply of Oil)

Installation, testing and commissioning of dry transformer of rating 100 KVA, 415V/433V, including transportation from store/yard to site at the place of installation, unpacking, positioning in place, site assembly of loosely furnished accessories, connection of auxiliary circuits, including fixing of nuts and bolts etc., including all labour and materials, as per approved drawings, specifications of this tender and directions of Engineer-in-Charge.

Installation, testing and commissioning of bus ducts (Non-phase seggregated, 415V, 4000A) between transformer secondary and the switchgear incomer panel, including transportation from store/yard to site at the place of installation, unpacking, making connections and installation of bends, breaking of walls and making good of the same etc., (but excluding structural supports), including all labour and materials, as per approved drawings, specifications of this tender and directions of Engineer-in-Charge.

Final Allignment, testing and commissioning of switch-boards, relay and control panels, annunciation panels, UPS system, battery chargers, distribution boards, cubicles with electrical equipment, VSD panels, misc. electrical panels etc. including necessary cleaning, wiring of loose parts supplied by equipment vendor, interconnection of shipping sections and requisite inter-panel wiring between shipping sections, including supply of all wiring materials, installation on foundations or fixing to wall or steel structures, aligning, levelling, grouting, testing and calibration of relays and meters etc., including all labour and materials, as per approved drawings, specifications of this tender and directions of Engineer-in-Charge.

STRUCTURAL STEEL

The scope of work includes supply, fabrication and installation of MS base frames, supports for switchgear, structure for LCS, brackets for miscellaneous electrical equipments,angular cable supports within cable trenches, any additional cable and cable tray supports out of rolled MS sections, pipes, plates etc. including shot blasting (with approved shop primer), welding, bolting, supply of necessary anchor bolts and grouting etc., supply of paint and applying one coat of anti-rustprimer and two finished coats of approved synthetic enamel paint highly corrosive environment, including breaking walls, floors etc. for structures as required including supply of all GI hardware materials like nut-bolts, all labour and materials complete as per approved drawings, specifications of this tender and directions of Engineer-in-Charge. Supply, fabrication and installation of 6mm thick M.S. chequered plate for covering floor cut-out/cable trenches etc., including all labour and materials, as per approved drawings, specifications of this tender and directions of Engineer-in-Charge.

GI PIPES

The scope of work includes supply and installation of GI pipes of following sizes of class ‘B’ type, fixed on steel, duct bank, concrete, wall crossing, wing trenches or similar structures, including shifting of pipes to site using contractor's vehicle, cutting, bending, threading, supply & installation of supports, clamps, small iron structures, spacer, seats, plugs, bush and fittings/fixtures like bends, tees, nipples, reducers etc., all complete with labour and materials, as per the specifications of this tender and directions of Engineer-in-charge. The scope of work also includes sealing of pipe ends and joints with bushes and bitumen based fillings and other miscellaneous works to make the piping water tight.

The rate will include cutting, stripping of cable insulation, drilling of gland plates, fixing of cable glands, crimping the lug on the conductor, clamping of the cable, supply, fixing & marking the wires with ferrule nos. Cable Tool kit along with the necessary accessories like blow up lamp, hydraulic crimping tools etc shall be arranged by contractor. Quantity indicates number of glands for respective cable size. Number of lugs to be worked out by bidder / contractor based on these quantities. All the cable glands shall be externally earthed to nearby earth strip using flexible copper wire.

Street Light Fixtures: The scope of work includes supply, installation and commissioning of LED street light fitting, min. 70W equivalent to crompton model LSTP-72-CDL in the existing street light pole. Socket Outlet: The scope of work includes supply and fixing of 20 amps., 240 volts, SPN industrial type, socket outlet, with 2 pole and earth, metal enclosed plug top alongwith 20 amps, G-series, SP,MCB, in sheet steel enclosure, on surface or in recess, with chained metal cover for the socket outlet, including connections, testing and commissioning etc. as required, all complete with labour and materials, as per the specifications of this tender and directions of Engineer-in-Charge. 3 phase 6 way distribution board: The scope of work inlcudes Supply, Erection, connecting, testing and commissioning of 3 Phase 6 way Distribution board concealed in wall/partition. Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Inverter (Minimum Capcity of 900VA) with battery (Minimum capacity of 180 AH)

CIVIL

EXCAVATION: The scope of work includes excavation of earth for cable laying / laying of GI pipes / earth strip etc., in all types of soil inlcuding saturated soil, for a maximum depth of 1.5 m and width approximately 0.5 m, including shoring, shuttering and dewatering (if necessary), backfilling and compacting in layers not exceeding 20 cm thick to the finished ground level, including consolidation and disposal of surplus earth within a lead of 50 m, all complete with labour and materials, as per approved drawings, specifications of this tender and directions of Engineer-in-Charge. (Excavated trench dimensions shall be measured).

SLAB REMOVAL & RELAYING: The scope of work includes removal of RCC slab placed above the cable trench, handling carefully without any damage of the slab and cable beneath it and keeping it back in position after laying / removing the cable and sealing the same between rcc covers with cement & sand, including hydra crane (if required), job complete in all respect with labours and materials, as per the specifications of this tender and directions of Engineer-in-Charge.

REMOVAL OF SAND FROM CABLE TRENCH: The scope of work includes removal of sand from the cable trench without any damage to the cable and disposing it within a lead of 50 meteres, all complete with all labour and material, as per the specifications of this tender and directions of Engineer-in-Charge.

Back filling OF SAND FROM CABLE TRENCH: The scope of work includes filling of sand back to trench, all complete with all labour and material, as per the specifications of this tender and directions of Engineer-in-Charge.

CABLE LAYING

Laying of cables of different voltage grade and types of the following overall diameters in ready trays/trenches/supported on structure/pull through pipes including supply and fixing of stainless steel/aluminium/lead strip number tags, supply and applying of fireproofing paint to meet OISD requirement (for 1m length near terminations), supply and fixing of GI saddles and saddle bars etc., including transportation from store/yard to site at the place of installation, unpacking, including all labour and materials, as per approved drawings, specifications of this tender and directions of Engineer-in-Charge.

HT CABLE LAYING: The scope of work includes horizontal and vertical laying of armoured PVC/XLPE insulated HT power cables of grade 6.6 / 11 kV (6.6kV UE) of following sizes in pre excavated cable trench /existing concrete trenches/cable trays, supported on structure/pull through pipes, including supply and fixing of Aluminium strip number tags, supply and fixing of GI saddles and saddle bars etc., testing the healthiness of the cables, transportation from owners stores to site, unpacking, straightening, dressing of cable, fixing with clams/ cleats as required and returning the empty drum with unused cable, if any, to stores etc., with all labour and material, as per the specifications of the tender and directions of engineer in charge. Necessary Crane or Forklift, Tractor and Trailer shall be arranged by the contractor. The scope excludes supply of cables. Refer Annexure - 1 for OD of cables.

COMMUNICATION CABLE LAYING: The scope of work includes horizontal and vertical laying of armoured PVC insulated jelly filled / non jelly filled communication cables of 1100V grade of following sizes in pre excavated cable trench /existing concrete trenches,/cable trays,including supported on structure/pull through pipes including supply and fixing of Aluminium strip number tags, supply and fixing of GI saddles and saddle bars etc. transportation from owners stores to site , including crane or forklift, tractor with trailer, unpacking, with all labour and material and as per the direction of engineer in charge. Refer Annexure - 1 for OD of cables.

Upto 10 pair communication cable

CAT6 Cabling

The scope of work inlcudes supply and laying of CAT-6 type in PVCpipe/Casing Caping with all necessary accessories for computernetworking. Only ISI marked wires of make Finolex/Polycab/Havells/KEI/RPG/V-GUARD shall be used."

OBTAINING CEA APPROVAL

The scope of work includes obtaining CEA approval for all electrical equipments in the sub-station, based on the credentials furnished by the equipment suppliers, including submission of required applications, application fee, liasioning and all other related activities and as per the instructions of Engineer-in-Charge.

STENCILING

The scope of work includes stencilling of Letters/Numbers on panels, cable drums etc., as per the directions of Engineer-In-Charge and system - VIII of CPCL, including labour and materials.

FIRE PROOF PAINTING OF CABLES

Supply of Hilti or equivalent make Indoor application Fire proof paint for 40 minutes for power cables - CP678 (Weight of 20 kgs each box)

Aplying of fire proof paint over cables as per the directions of Engineer In Charge inclusive of all consumables & Labour required

HIRING OF HEAVY DUTY VEHICLES

The scope of work includes supply of 20 Feet Trailer With Tractor on hire basis as and when required by Engineer-in-Charge on 8 hrs shift basis for shifting of materials/metal & wooden scraps/cables within CPCL Premises. The rate is inclusive of Driver, one Assistant, Consumables like Diesel/fuel/oil lubricants etc., with all safety Instruments as per the specifications of this tender and directions of Engineer-In-Charge. All required Tools, Tackles, Wire Ropes, Pulley Blocks, Belts, Chains etc., for Lifting, Aligning,Tying, Stacking Shall be arranged by the contractor.

The scope of work includes supply of hydra crane with front cabin of capacity min 12 MT on hire basis as and when required by Engineer-in-Charge on 8 hrs shift basis for shifting of materials/metal & wooden scraps/cables within CPCL Premises. The rate is inclusive of Driver, one Assistant, Consumables like Diesel/fuel/oil lubricants etc., with all safety Instruments as per the specifications of this tender and directions of Engineer-in-Charge. All required Tools, Tackles, Wire Ropes, Pulley Blocks, Belts, Chains etc., for Lifting, Aligning,Tying, Stacking shall be arranged by the contractor.
