Earthwork in cutting or in embankment in ordinary soil, excavation to be in the form of regular pits not exceeding 1/2 metre in depth and earthwork in embankment to be in 20cm. layers including ramming and dressing the surface to required levels and slopes and also including 1.5 metre lift and 30m. lead. The earth from cutting to be used in making embankment or to be deposited as spoil banks with in 30m. distance as directed by the engineer in charge.

Providing, laying and spreading Material on a prepared Sub grade, adding cement @ 2% by weight to the spread Material manually mixing in place with rotavator and compacting with the road roller at OMC to achieve the desired unconfined compressive strength

Construction of Granular sub base by providing well graded material spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method with rotavator at OMC, and complacting with smooth wheel roller to achieved the desired density. complete as per clause 401.

Providing, laying and spreading material on a prepared sub base, cement @4% by weight to the spread material manually, mixing in place with rotavator and compacting with the road roller at OMC to achieve the desired unconfined compressive strenght and to form a layer of subbase.

Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen VG-10 using bitumen pressure distributor at the rate of 0.35 kg per sqm on the prepared dry and hungry bituminous surface cleaned with hydraulic broom as per technical specicification Clause 503.

Providing and laying rolling of open graded premix carpet of 20 mm thickness composed of 13.2 mm to 5.6 mm aggreates using Bitumen VG-10 to required line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base by manual means, including mixing in a suitale plant, laying and rolling with a 3 wheel 8 - 10 tonne static roller capacity, finished to required level and grades to be followed by seal coat as per technical clause 508.

Providing and laying seal coat sealing the voids in a bituminous surface laid to the specified levels, grade and cross fall using Type C as per Technical Specification Clause 510 including Cost of Bitumen VG-10 using @0.65 Kg/Sqm and Road Roller Charges all complete.
