S& F In repair ARCHITECTURAL POST TOP POLE, 3 metre height Pole made of complete cast iron decorative components, where the internal fabricated pole, Made in combination of hot dip galvanised mild steel pipe sections 89mm dia, 48mm dia & covered in the outside by decorative cast iron base and columns. Decorative Cast iron Base design with the company/brand logo engraved in the cast iron mould, starting with dia 260mm for 130mm height, followed by a ring of 260 dia gradually tapering to a flat round surface of dia 170mm for 366mm height again followed by a ring dia 210mm and gradual tapering up to a dia 92mm as approved by the Engr-in-Charge. Total height of decorative cast iron base is 700mm and weight shall be 32 Kgs. Decorative cast iron base shall be provided with a flush door of length 228mm, width 124mm and height 30mm. Decorative cast iron flower starting with a dia 102 mm increasing gradually to 160mm and then tapering to a dia 99mm.Total height of cast iron flower is 304 mm & weight shall be 6.3 Kgs. Decorative cast iron column (2 Nos.) shall be of 80mm dia and having continuous grooves of 5mm depth along the height. The height of each pillar shall be 750mm & weight of each pillar shall be 9.5 Kgs. Decorative Cast iron top starting with dia 80mm and a ring of dia 96mm at height of 160mm then gradually increasing to dia 120mm the top half of the decorative top shall have grooves of depth 5mm, total height of cast iron top shall be 334mm, weight shall be 5.2 Kgs. + 5% tolerance shall only be allowed in weight of all cast iron parts mentioned here in before. (Contd from 1.00....) Entire pole shall be made to provide pleasing aesthetics as approved by Engr-in-Charge. After Fabrication, Entire Pole shall be hot dip galvanized (60 microns Minimum) for the effective corrosion resistance . The hot dip Galvanised pole shall be provided with an inbuilt junction box to fix 32A connectors and 6A MCB, at the bottom. The inbuilt box shall have a flush door of suitable size. The decorative pedestal shall be mounted on a suitable size steel plate. This mounting steel plate along with foundation bolts of suitable size shall be used for ensuring firm grouting into the specially designed RCC foundation. Wind pressure calculation shall be as per IS 875 (Part-3) & structural calculation report as per EN40 shall be submitted by the contractor to verify the pole design. Pole & it's parts shall be painted in 3 layer coating (coating thickness-100 microns minimum) in which 1st layer with etch primer, 2nd layer with epoxy primer & 3rd final layer with PU paint - customised colour Metallic Grey complete all as specified and as directed. Supply, laying & testing in repair XLPE insulated, PVC inner sheathed, armoured with galvanised steel strip or wire, heavy duty, LT underground cable, ISI marked, with aluminium multistranded conductor, 1100 volt grade, size 10 Sqmm, 2 core, laid in trenches/ duct, passing through pipe/ duct or fixed on pole and connecting with Thimble and Lugs including taking down old cable complete all as specified & as directed.
