Civil Works
Providing and installing cast-in-situ vertical bored piles of required depth as per the approved GFC drawing with M40/20 grade of reinforced cement concrete using Portland slag cement including all operations such as mobilization,installation and shifting of piling rig etc.,in all soil strata, road,f ootpath,including boulders,kankar and soft rock / weathered rock (other than rock grade GI and GII). The disposal of earth,muck, slush released from the piles, top cut portion of pile is as per contractors own arrangements/ choice including loading, transportation, unloading to any lead with all necessary safety / enviromental compliances measures as defined in the relevant section of the contract document as directed by Engineer as per the approved methods & specifications.The rate shall include all operations required for installation of pile such as installation of rig, shifting of hydraulic rig, construction of approach temporary road / bridge for pilling rig etc. The cost shall also include the cost of empty boring with MS temporary liner as per site requirement. The Cost shall also include cutting/chipping of pile up to cut off level or up to good concrete and built up of pile up to required level (as per drawing). Rate shall include cost of using required dosage of admixture in concrete for obtaining required workability as per approval of Engineer in Charge. Cost for temporary casing shall be included in the rate. Reinforcement shall be measured and paid under C.4.1 Piling / Drilling shall be done by use of hydraulic rotary rigs using temporary casing till required depth (Min 4.5 Mtr). Bentonite/polymer slurry to be used as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. The item shall also include the cost of bentonite/Polymer to be used for stabilisation of bore.Bentonite/Polymer shall be allowed with the specific approval of Engineer based on the soil strata.Socketing shall be as per specification and the decision of Engineer shall be final. Note: Pile measurement shall be from cut-off level to founding level as shown in the drawing For 1000mm dia pile

Earth work in excavation for foundation of structures as per drawings and technical specifications, including setting out,construction of shoring and bracing,removal of stumps and other deleterious matter, dressing of sides and bottom and backfilling with approved material -Ordinary Soil - Mechanical Means - Depth upto 3 metres including the cost of labour hire charge of hydraulic excavator and overhead charges.
Providing and laying in position ready mixed or site batched design mix cement concrete for plain cement concrete work; using coarse aggregate and fine aggregate derived from natural sources, Portland Pozzolana/Ordinary Portland /Portland Slag cement, admixtures in recommended proportions as per IS: 9103 to accelerate / retard setting of concrete, to improve durability and workability without impairing strength; including pumping of concrete to site of laying, curing, carriage for all leads; but excluding the cost of centering, shuttering and finishing as per direction of the engineer-in-charge; for the following grades of concrete. All works upto plinth level. Concrete of M15 grade with minimum cement content of 240 kg /cum.

Providing and laying Dense Graded Bituminous Macadam using crushed stone aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site by tippers, laying with paver finisher equiped with electronic sensor to the required grade, level and alignment and rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers as per specifications to achieve the desired compaction and density, complete as per specificatons and directions of Engineer-in-Charge.50 to 100 mm average compacted thickness with bitumen of grade VG-30 @ 5% (percentage by weight of total mix) and lime filler @ 2% (percentage by weight of Aggregate) prepared in Batch Type Hot Mix Plant of 100-120 TPH capacity.
Providing and laying Bituminous concrete using crushed stone aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site by tippers, laying with paver finisher equiped with electronic sensor to the required grade, level and alignment and rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achievethe desired compaction and density as per specification, complete and as per directions of Engineer-in-Charge.40/50 mm compacted thickness with bitumen of grade VG-30 @ 5.5% (percentage by weight oftotal mix) and lime filler @ 3% (percentage by weight of Aggregate) prepared in Batch Type Hot Mix Plant of 100-120 TPH capacity.
Providing and laying bitumen mastic wearing course (as per specifications) with industrial bitumen of grade 85/25 conforming to IS : 702, prepared by using mastic cooker and laid to required level and slope, including providing antiskid surface with bitumen precoated fine grained hard stone chipping of approved size at the rate of 0.005 cum per 10 sqm and at approximate spacing of 10 cm centre to centre in both directions, pressed into surface protruding 1 mm to 4 mm over mastic surface, including cleaning the surface, removal of debris etc. all complete. (Considering bitumen using 10.2% as per MORTH specification).25 mm thick
Providing and installing Omega joint or equivalent conforming to IRC 83 - part II. The rate shall includecasting of cast-in-situ plinth at edge of deck for fixing joint. Gap for expansion joint: 100mm.
Supplying and fixing P.V.C. pipe 110mm dia rain water down fallpipe as per ISI standard (I.S.4985)including P.V.C.Bends without door arrangements, shoes, gratings with F.I.Clamps 40mmx20mm of suitable size fixed to wooden plugs embedded in walls in cementmortar 1:3 (1 cement and 3 Crushed Stone Sand (Commercially called M-Sand) including cutting holes inwalls and making good the same after fixing the plugs,etc.complete as directed during execution.
Providing and erecting 2.00 metre high temporary barricading at site; each panel of size 2.50 m x2.00 m made of 40x40x6 mm angle iron or 50x50x3 mm hollow MS tube posts/horizontal members /bracings covered with 1.63 mm thick MS sheet. The sheet shall be fixed with 30x5mm MS flat by suitable welding/riveting. The panels shall be made so that gap of 50cm above the ground is available making overall height as 2.5 m. MS channel ISLC 75 @ 5.70 kg/m, 50 cm long shall be provided at the bottom having oval shaped holes of size 50x25 mm at both ends with 50 cm long MS angle 40x40x6 mm bracing. Suitable arrangement shall be made to fix the barricading to avoid from overturning by providing 250 mm long expansion fasteners at both ends. The work shall be executed as per drawing/direction of Engineer-in-Charge which includes writing and painting, arrangement for traffic diversion such as traffic signals during construction at site for day and night, glow lamps, reflective signs, marking, flags, caution tape as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. The barricading provided shall be retained in position at site continuously including shifting of barricading from one location to another location as many times as required during the execution of the entire work till its completion. Rate include its maintenance for damages, painting, all incidentals, labour materials, equipments and works required to execute the job. The barricading shall not be removed without prior approval of Engineer-in-Charge. (Note :- One time payment shall be made for providing barricading from start of work till completion of work including shifting. The barricading provided shall remain to be the property of the contractor on completion of the work).
