The undermentioned job order for :- 1 (A) Carryout boring sampling testing & conducting SPT test as part of soil investigation to as certain soil profile bearing capacity as per following requirement up to depth of 6.0 metre (depth shall be increased if filled earth is found upto 6.0 Metre. Qty-03 Each Job (a) Conduction standard penetretion test (SPT) as per IS- 2131-1988 The testing shall be made at every change in strata or at the intervals of not more than 1.50 mtr whichever is less the test may be made at least intervals if specified or considered necessary as per 331 of IS-2131-1988. (b) Collection of disturbed/undisturbed soil samples from bore hole at an interval of 1.50 mtr or change of strata and conducting test reporting on following soil parameter- (i) Grain size distribution/Particle size analysis (ii) Atterberg limits and plasticity index (iii) Bulk and dry density (iv) Specific gravity (v) Moisture content (vi) Harmful salt test (In case of sandy soil) (vii) Direct shear test (viii) Unconfined Un-drained test (ix) Consolidation test (x) Determination of internal angle friction C & Q values (xi) Differential free swell test and determination of swelling Indexes for expansive soil. (B) The soil investigation report shall submit completely covering the following in quadruplicate. (a) Bore log chart showing depth of soil strata. (b) Ground water level. (c) Probable maximum and differential settlement. (d) Safe bearing capacity for various sizes of footing at different depth. (e) Recommendations for type and depth of foundation (f) Site plan building wise with RL of corner of building (g) Bore hole location w.r.t FFL/Fixed bench mark (h) Bearing capacity and depth of foundation w.r.t FFL/Fixed bench mark (j) Suitability of soil for refilling under floor and in trenches. 2. Lab CBR Test as per IS 2720 Part 16. Qty-01 Each Job Note:- (a) The location of bldg/bore shall be given by GE (W) Agra. (b) The soil report shall be submitted in the following parts:-. (i) Field investigation with details for each bore hole. (ii) Laboratory investigation with details for each borehole. (iii) Soil proporties based on field laboratory investigation. (iv) Recommended foundation as per investigation. (v) CBR test result in consonance of IS 2720 Part-16. (Note:- Transportation, GST and CP is added in rate which is quoted by Agency)
