Providing and fixing double scaffolding system (cup lock type) on the exterior side, up to seven story height made with 40 mm dia M.S. tube 1.5 m centre to centre, horizontal & vertical tubes joining with cup & lock system with M.S. tubes, M.S. tube challies, M.S. clamps and M.S. staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for the required duration as approved and removing it thereafter. The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connection with the building etc wherever required for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc. complete as per directions and approval of Engineer-in-charge. The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purpose. The payment will be made once irrespective of duration of scaffolding. Note: - This item to be used for maintenance work judicially, necessary deduction for scaffolding in the existing item to be done.

Providing and injecting approved grout in proportion recommended by the manufacturer into cracks/honey-comb area of concrete/ masonry by suitable gun/pump at required pressure including cutting of nipples after curing etc. complete as per directions of Engineer-in- Charge. Demolishing brick work manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. In cement mortar.

Regrading terracing of mud phaska covered with tiles or brick, in cement mortar by dismantling tiles or bricks, removing mud plaster, preparing the surface of mud phaska to proper slope, relaying mud plaster gobri leaping and tiles or bricks, grouted in cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 fine sand), including replacing unserviceable tiles or bricks with new ones and disposal of unserviceable material to the dumping ground (the cost of the new tiles or brick excluded), all complete as per direction of Engineer-in Charge.

The FRP Chajja should be manufactured using unsaturated Polyester resin as per IS: 6746, duly reinforced with fibre glass chopped strand mat (CSM) as per IS: 11551 complete with protective Gel coat U/V coating on Top for complete resistance from the extreme of temperature, weather & sunlight. (Only plan area of chajjas shall be measured for making payment).

Agency/contractor is required to conduct all essential tests before the execution of work in orders to assess the current structural health of the existing structure and all essential tests after the execution of this retrofitting work in order to ascertain the strength and stability of the structure and will also prepare the detailed report on the test procedure, result and interpretation of results and recommending remedial measure based on the test results before the execution of work. All the remedial measures/detailed procedure reports are to be vetted from any premier govt. institute or any other govt. Engineering colleges as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge. List of Tests:- 1. Chemical tests 2. Corrosion tests 3. pH Test 4. Core Cutting tests 5. Rebound Hammer Test 6. Ultra Sonic Pulse Velocity Test 7. Carbonation Test 8. Half Cell Potential Test 9. Rebar Locator Test 10. Test for Surface resistivity of concrete to assess rate of corrosion 11. Any other Requisite Test as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.
