Excavation in foundation and trenches in all heights and depths and in all kinds of soil including saturated soils comprising of pick work, jumper work, pick jumper work, blasting work both in soft and hard rock, chiseling / wedging out of rock (Where blasting is prohibited) and their intermediate classification of soil setting out true to the required lines, grade, width, cutting and trimming of side slopes as shown in the drawing and if water is met within the excavation due to springs, seepage, rain and other causes it shall be removed by the suitable diversion pumping or bailing out and excavation shall be kept dry wherever so required by the contractor at his own cost as directed by the Engineer-in-charge and disposal of all surplus excavated soil in acquired width or at an approved dumping side including its stacking leveling dressing in all leads and lifts by head-load, mechanical transportation or by any other mode of transportation with all cost of labours, machineries and other incidentals to complete the work as per HPPWD specification 1990 Vol.I. Any loss to the public and private property during the course of execution and disposal of unserviceable material shall be absolute responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be compensated by him in all cases.

Providing and laying mechanically mixed and vibrated cement concrete 1:6:12 (one cement isto six sand isto twelve graded crushed stone aggregate 40 mm (forty millimetre) nominal size) and curing complete excluding cost of centring and shuttering in foundation and plinth within all leads and lifts within all leads and lifts and as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge and other incidentals.

Precast concrete block masonry (including quion blocks, jamb blocks, clousers etcetera) with solid concrete blocks of approved size made of cement concrete 1:3:6 (one cement isto three sand isto six graded stone agreegate 40mm (forty millimetre) and down gauge) in foundation and plinth with cement mortar 1:6 (one cement isto six sand) within all leads and lifts and as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge and other incidentals.

Providing and laying mechanically mixed and vibrated cement concrete 1:2:4((one cement is to two sand isto four graded crushed stone aggregate 20mm (twenty millimetre) nominal size)) and curing complete including form work in string courses, coopinh, bed plates anchor block, plain window sills and the like as per the directions of the Engineer-in-charge including carriage of material within all leads and lifts and other incidentals.

Steel work welded in built up sections, trusses and framed work, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a primming coat of red lead paint in gratings framed gaurd bars, ladders, railing, brackets and similar works as per the directions of the Engineer-in-charge including carriage of material within all leads and lifts and other incidentals.

20 mm (twenty millimetre) cement plaster in single coat on rough side of brick / concrete / stone masonry for interior plastering upto floor all levels including arises, internal rounded angle, chamfer and / or rounded angle not exceeding 80mm (eighty millimetre) in girth and finished even and smooth in cement mortar 1:6 (one cement isto six sand) as per the directions of the Engineer-in-charge including carriage of material within all leads and lifts and other incidentals.

Finishing wall with water proofing cement paint of approved brand and manufactured ( two coats) and of required shade on undecorated wall surfaces to give an even shade after throughly brushing the surface free from mortar dropping and other foreign matter, dult and remains loose powdered material within all leads and lifts and as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge and other incidentals.

Painting two coat (excluding priming coat) on new steel and other metal surfaces under coat with ready mixed paint brushing to give an even shade including cleaning the surface all dirt, dust and other foreign matter With white readymixed paint within all leads and lifts and as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge and other incidentals.
