Design and Construction of Pump House cum Chowkidar quarter having 63.00 Sqmt Plinth area and 3.30 Mtrs. height complete in all respect. The pump house shall be aesthetically designed (to be approved by the competent authority). The work shall include all internal and external electrical wiring, water supply and sanitary fitting, painting and distempering, precast terrazo tile flooring, wooden frames and panelled & glazed shutter for doors & window and other allied items. The doors & window shall be in double shutters and M.S grills for window and internal wiring shall be in PVC conduit. All work shall be conforming to relevent IS code and to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in- Charge. ( Data Sheet No.14)
Excavation in foundation trenches etc. in earth work in all kinds of soil such as spade work,pick work,jumper work, blasting work, chieselling work, Kankar, mooram singles including decomposed in soft/hard work,chieselling/ wedging out of hard and soft rocks where blasting is prohibited, in saturated soil including bailing out the watering, by cutting in slopes where ever required, and stacking the excavated materials not more than 3.00 meters clear from the edge of excavation and then returning the stacked soil in 15 cm layers when required into plinth sides of foundtion and sides of trenches and above the laid pipes etc. consolidating in each deposited layer by ramming and watering and then disposing of all surplus excavated soil in all leads and lifts. After disposal, the surface shall be neatly dressed and levelled and shoring to its original shape complete in all respect, including all leads and lifts and as per the entire satisfaction of Engieer-in-Charge.(Pick work = 50% Jumper Work = 50%). Restoration of metalled surface to its original condition shall be paid for separately.
Providing and laying cement concrete 1:3:6 mix (one cement :Three sand :six stone aggregate 40mm nominal size) and curing complete excluding the cost of form work in foundation and plinth in Retaining wall as per direction of Engineer- in-Charge with in all lead & lifts.

PUMPING MACHINERY SUBMERSIBLE:Supply of star rated enrgy efficient Submersible pumping set of KSB/Calama/ WPIL/ Crompton/BS/ SABAR/ Oswal/ Kirloskar make conforming to latest relevant BIS Code 8034:1976. The pump should be fitted with bronze impeller or suitable alloys suitable for handling Raw water having greased packed bearings and shaft with wound stator on motor side and with soft protection sleeve on pump side ensuring better life for shaft coupled to a submersible squirrel cage electric induction motor (water proof type) of required HP & 2900/1450 rpm of reputed make conforming to BIS 9283-1979 latest with upto date amendments, totally dust and water proof for submersible duty isolated from the pump by intermediate casing with double mechanical seal in oil chamber and grease packed lubricated bearings and provided with stainless steel thrust bearing plate to with stand non vertical loads with minimum wear and tear. It should also be fitted with a device to take up expansion of water with the heating of motor. The pump set should include water level guards, erection clamps , cable clips, depth gauge NRV & Sluice valves of approved class etc. The work should be completed to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in – Charge. The HP are indicative.Since the re-survey and re-design of proposal/scheme is to be carried out by the lowest bidder, the design/drawings so approved by the competent authority after finalisation of design and drawings,any variation in HP and other accessories etc.The rate shall be worked out on prorata basis after approval of the competent authority and payment will be made accordingly.The rates shall be for complete Job to run the machinery in proper working. and should meet with the requirements. Excavation in foundations and trenches (for pipes and pits) upto all depths etc. in all kinds of soil such as pick work, jumper work and saturated soil including bailing or pumping out of water, blasting in soft/hard rock or chiseling or wedging out of same where blasting is prohibited in all leads and lifts including trimming and dressing of sides, leveling of beds to correct grade including shoring strutting, planking timbering and dewatering wherever required, stacking usable and unusable material/soil separately and after laying jointing and testing of pipes, returning he usable soil in 15 cm layer by ramming and watering and then disposing of all surplus excavated soil/unusable material as directed within all leads and lifts including restoration of unmetaled/ mattelled surfaces to its original condition and including cost of diversion of traffic, night signal boards, fixing caution boards, crossing over trenches for access to houses, fencing etc. complete in all respects within all leads and lifts as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge.
Providing, laying, jointing and testing in trenches of mild steel electrically resistance welded steel flanged pipes with 5% flanged joints and remaining 95% with butt welding including cost of bends complete conforming to ISO:IS:3183-2007 as per dimensions weight and test pressure mentioned below in a random length of 4m-7m, The M.S. flanges are to be provided 5% of total joints as per table below conforming to IS: 6392-1971 (latest upto date amendments) and welding of flanges with pipes as per IS: 816-1965 with a electrode as per IS: 814-1967 including required Nos. and size of M.S. nut and bolts as per IS: 1369-1967 and compressed asbestos fiber jointing gaskets sheet not less than 3mm thick as per IS: 2712-1965. Providing, laying, jointing with circumferential butt joints by electrical arc welding( welding thickness shall be equal to pipe wall thickness) and testing of GI pipe of Jindal/Surya Roshani/Tata/AST or of approved rate contract of DGS and D/HP Govt make of following diameter confirming to IS:1239:1990 (Part-ii) (latest with upto date amendements having wall thickness as specified below capable of withstanding required test pressure, including manufacturing and fabrication of reducers tapers all short pieces, bends ect as per site requirement made from parent tubes. The laying of pipe shall also include flanged joints dully welded in three layers( two inner and one outer) wherever required as per engineer- in charge (earth work in trenches and the cost of flanges I/C nut and bolts gasket will be measured and paid for separately) and all operations such as cutting, welding and jointing fabrication of bends tees i.e lowering and laying in excavated trench to ensure required level including flushing cleaning and hydraulic testing complete in all respect tp the entire satisfaction of the Engineer in charge.. The fabricated bends shall have three or four cuts having its radius not less than five times the dia of pipe. The welding electrodes shall be as per IS 814 of Advani Overlikon/over cord s/s make. The damaged portion of the pipe and all specials (if damaged during laying and jointing operation of pipe) made from the parent tube shall be provided anti corrosive treatment by applying two coats of anti corrosive bituminous paints over a priming coat as per AWWA specification C-203-1978. The rates also include entire carriage of material, flushing, cleaningand hydraulic testing DP testof butt welded joints complete in all respect and to the entire satisfaction of Engineer in Charge with in all leads and lifts ( Data Sheet No.5)
