REPAIR/ MAINTENANCE OF FIRE HYDRANT PUMP, PIPE LINES AND CONNECTED ITEM AT BHISIANA UNDER GE (AF) BHISIANA

Excavation in trenches (Manual), not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5m in depth for foundations of shafts, wells, cess pits, manholes, pipe line, cable in trenches etc., not exceeding 10 Sqm on plan and getting out in any type of soft including trimming the sides and forming bottom surfaces to required levels complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling including spreading, leveling watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated material (surplus soil) to a distance not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 metre above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour in repair/replacement of existing hose box made of 18 gauge MS sheet, size 800 mm × 600 mm × 250 mm, complete with double-leaf doors glazed with 4 mm thick glass and door frame made of 16 gauge MS sheet, including taking down the existing unserviceable hose box, dismantling, cutting and removal of defective portions, fabrication and replacement of MS sheet, door frame and doors as required, providing and fixing 4 mm thick glass, hinges, handles, locking arrangement, stays and necessary nuts, bolts and other fixing accessories, surface preparation and application of one coat of suitable metal primer and two finishing coats of fire red paint externally and brilliant white paint internally, including all materials, labour, tools and tackles and disposal of dismantled materials as directed by Engineer-in-Charge, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking out of unserviceable CI/GI/MS pipes of 80 mm dia bore, including all fittings with flanged ends, complete with disconnecting pipe joints and fittings, removing nuts, bolts, gaskets and other jointing materials, carefully taking down and handling the pipes and fittings, including stacking the serviceable materials and disposal of unserviceable materials at the place directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Excavation and earth work shall be measured and paid for separately.

Taking out of unserviceable CI/GI/MS pipes of 100 mm dia bore, including all fittings with flanged ends, complete with disconnecting pipe joints and fittings, removing nuts, bolts, gaskets and other jointing materials, carefully taking down and handling the pipes and fittings, including stacking the serviceable materials and disposal of unserviceable materials at the place directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Excavation and earth work shall be measured and paid for separately.

Note: Excavation and earth work shall be measured and paid for separately.

Supply, fixing and testing of MS ERW pipe of 80 mm bore, heavy grade, conforming to IS 1239 Part-I, including all necessary accessories such as flanges, tees, bends, reducers and other required fittings, jointing by welding, including nuts, bolts, gaskets and other jointing materials, cleaning and preparation of pipe surface, testing for leakage and satisfactory operation, and painting of exposed pipe with two coats of first-quality enamel paint, and for buried/underground portions providing anticorrosive treatment with one coat of bitumen followed by wrapping with bitumen hessian cloth, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
