Supply, laying and testing of DI (Ductile iron) pipe K9 with spigot and sockets end conforming to IS - 8329 (latest version) with rubber gasket pushon joints in any length laying in trenches of size 200mm dia the pipes shall be laid, jointed and tested all as per IS-12288-1987 complete all as directed. Note : -Earth work like excavation , returning fillinh in and removing of soil etc required for the work shall be measured in the relevent items of the schedule.

Cutting cast iron pipe of 200 mm dia in size in position for inserting of new tees branches including fitting jointing in position for insertion of new tees, branches etc complete all as directed (Note:- earth work and fittings shall be measured and paid separetely)

Valve sluice flanged of class 1.6 PN supplied and installed complete size 200mm (8") dia including taking down the old unservicable valves. complete all as directed.

Valve sluice flanged of class 1.6 PN supplied and installed complete size 150mm (6") dia including taking down the old unservicable valves. complete all as directed.

Costruction of valve chamber of size 1200 x 1200x 1300 mm inner dimension , brick / block masonary in CM 1:4 in PCC base in 1:4:8 type D2 of 7.5 cm thick & plastering 15 cm thick in CM 1:4 in inner side and coping of all chamber fabrication of iron frame 40 x 40 x 6 mm size angle iron MS cover 3 mm thick with hinges handle and locking arrangements duly paiting with two coats of Synthitic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer including excavation , earth work all as per TD drg No TD-552 st 1/1 of HQ Chief Engineer Chennai Zone including dismentling the old unservicable valve chamber complete all as directed.

DI specials like bends, tappers, tee pieces all sockets all spigot, collars, caps & plugs of size up to 200 mm dia and any shape including testing complete all as directed

Excavating in trenches not exceedig 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m deep and getting out in hard / dense soil for laying water supply pipes complete all as directed .

Returning, filling in, (soils) including spreading, leveling, ramming, watering in layers not exceeding 25 cm complete all as directed .

Removing excavated surplus soil to a distance exceeding 250m but not exceeding 500m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point complete all as directed .

Cutting of existing road surface including WBM at the required space with width all as directed for laying of water supply pipe line complete all as directed . ( Note:- Excavation, Returining filling and removing of soil will be measured under the relevent items of the schedule)

Hard core of guage n exc 63 mm deposited spread and levelled in layers not exc 150 cm thick , watered and rammed to true surface complete all as directed.

PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in coping , water truoghs , including weathering , slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throughtly complete all as directed.

Taking up cast iron water mains (including all fittings), with spigot and socket ends of 200 mm dia and lead joints including burning out joints and recovering leadwith all fittings and fixtures etc complete all as directed.
