SCH 'A PART XI (Air Conditioning) Note: This schedule is not pre-priced by MES and the rate indicated as "Rs 0.00" under Col 6 signifies this fact only
Supplying, installing, testing and commissioning of Air cooled type packaged air-conditioning units complete with Hermetically sealed MULTI SCROLL compressors fitted inside the indoor unit & first charge of refrigerant & oil, air cooled condenser, fan section with statically/ dynamically balanced centrifugal blower driven by a TEFC squirrel cage three speed motor, Multi rows cooling coil of copper with aluminium fins etc. The enclosures shall be fabricated of MS. The package unit shall be equipped with sythelic fibre filter, insulated drain pan, controls all encased in a unit. The casing shall be factory made powder coated. Electrical panel board for package units shall comprise of SFU's Fuses. Voltage scanner, complete with overload, low voltage, high voltage & phase imballance protection for the following capacity (MAKES:BLUESTAR/CARRIER/ DAIKIN/ VOLTAS) :
(a) 22 TR Air cooled floor mounted package R 407 C based AC with corded remote controller.
(i) The unit shall be operative on 380 V to 420 V AC 3 ph 50 Hz power supply.
(ii) De-Humidifiers with strip heaters shall be measured and paid seperately.
(iii) Civil works such as masonry foundation/plinth for indoor/outdoor units shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted.
(iv) Power cable connection from LT panel to package unit shall be measured and paid seperately.
(v) Anti vibration pads for indoor /outdoor units shall be deemed to be included in the unit rates quoted.
(vi) The package AC plant shall have pure polyster powder coated GI steel housing comprise indoor & outdoor units of under mentioned specifications:-
Indoor Unit
(ai) Type of blower : Centrifugally forward curved double inlet double width.
(aii) Nominal air flow: 14950 CMH/ 8800 CFM.
(aiii) Capacity contrl : 0,50%, 100%.
(aiv) Air filters : Non wooven polyster media 5 microns enclosed by HDPE mesh.
(av) Controller Unit: Microprocessor based with LCD display.

All units are controlled by microprocessor based controllers with the following features:-

Supply, assembly and erection of GI sheet with TDF flange rectangular/square duct made out of L shaped hollow profile, duly factory boxed including all accessories such as corner, cleat, carriage bolt, gasket and appropriate sealant on longitudinal joints etc complete with GI sheet of thickness 24 gauge complete all as specified & directed.
Supply, assembly and erection of GI sheet with TDF flange rectangular/square duct made out of L shaped hollow profile, duly factory boxed including all accessories such as corner, cleat, carriage bolt, gasket and apropriate sealent on longitudinal joints etc complete with GI sheet of thickness 22 gauge complete all as specified & directed.
Note: (i) Necessary opening in the brick wall shall be carried out for the installation of supply and return air ducts as the air conditioning is to be carried out in the proposed building without any structural modification and the openings shall be finished properly and matched with surrounding colour.
(ii) The layout of the ducting shall be designed by the contractor through the OEM and the drawing with all details specifications shall be produced to GE for approval before starting of work.
(iii) The contractor shall design, suppply ducts and return ducts based on the room design conditions and detailed drawing alongwith design calculations shall be submitted for the approval of the Accepting Officer. (iv) The heat load arrived is about 22 Tons which is tentive and for quoting purpose only. Any difference in the tonnage of the plant arrived at on plus side to meet the desired conditions will be provided without any extra cost to the department.
Supplying, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Refrigerant copper piping for 22 TR air cooled package AC with required size from manufacturer (OEM) complete with all fittings such as bends, tees, elbows etc. including cheseling and painting. The pipe shall laid with proper supporting arrangement on wall/ground/floor. Making good of distubed surfaces of walls and provision of suitable size clamps etc.complete all as specified & directed.
Supply, laying, testing and commissionnig of UG LT cables 1100 volts grade, XLPE insulated, screened and PVC sheathed, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured with multi stranded coppper conductor, ISI marked, heavy duty including cable glands, cable lugs in power and control cable with size 4 core 4 Sqmm with and incuding PVC conduit not less than 25mm dia. Cable with end termination for Indoor units with Plug Top, Earthing connection, BMS connectivity etc. (From indoor to outdoor & interconnecting control cabling between ODU and CRC)
Supply, laying, testing and commissionnig of UG LT cables 1100 volts grade, XLPE insulated, screened and PVC sheathed, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured with multi stranded coppper conductor, ISI marked, heavy duty including cable glands, cable lugs in power and control cable with size 2 core 2.5 Sqmm with and incuding PVC conduit not less than 25mm dia. Cable with end termination for Indoor units with Plug Top, Earthing connection, BMS connectivity etc. (From indoor to outdoor & interconnecting control cabling between ODU and CRC)
M & L for duct thermal insulation for Rectangular supply air duct- Thermal Insulation with self adhesive 13 mm thick closed cell nitrile rubber & all joints of the insulation shall be further covered with 50 mm wide 3 mm thick self-adhesive tape made of similar material all as specified and as directed.
M & L for duct accoustic insulation with 25 mm thick self adhesive nitrile rubber (armasound) all as specified and as directed.
M & L for 32mm dia heavy duty PVC pipe as in drain piping with all fittings, supports and clamps including drilling hole in wall, chipping wall etc to conceal and to route the drain pipe. The piping shall be suitably insulated with 19 mm thick Closed Cell foam Class O (Nitrile Rubber) stuck with approved adhesive compound. The insulation shall be covered with glass cloth and pointed with rubberised paint all as specified and as directed.

S& F air diffuser for the 4-way square supply air ternimal should be in aluminium powder coated construction with easily removble central core & 4-way uniform air distribution. Volume control damper to be of opposed blade, nylon geared with aerofoil blades & blank matt powder coated (Out to out size shall be 24"x24" with full louvers with required duct connection size (as per opproved layouts) & as per approved sample (Color to match architects requirements) all as specified and as directed.
S& F return air diffuser with HEPA filter for the return air terminal which should be in aluminium powder coated construction EP O deg.4 side flange Grill of (900 mm x 200 mm) as per approved layouts & as per approved sample. (Color to match architect's requirements) return air Grill should be with inbuilt Box type volume control damper of opposed blade constructon, nylon geared with aerofoil blades & black matt powder coated complete all as specified and as directed.
M & L for mild steel framed work as in support stands heavy duty painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer (Wall Brackets) suitable for outdoor/indoor units placing ODU's as required by the available location at site complete all as specified and as directed.
M & L for providing canvas connection of suitable size & of approved material for AC system complete all as specified and as directed.
Supply, installation, tesing and commissioning fresh air fan with gravity lourvers assembly complete with suitable power cable with plug top and of capacity 700 cfm 18 mm STP complete all as specified and as directed.
Supply, installation, testing and adjusting of GSS volume control damper within ducts complete with suitable links. Levers blades should be double skinned aerofoil construction and opposed blades should be at 50mm pitch centres. The blades should be mounted in nylon bushes opreated by and interior wheel gear system. Manual quadrant control with position indicator to be provided to enable adjust volume of air as required, complete all as specified and as directed.
Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of Motorised fire and smoke dampers with actuators (FSD) shall be installed in supply air duct when they pass through AHU room walls & as per specfications. The Dampers shal be motor operated with atleast 90 minutes fire rating as per UL 555S Class II for fire and smoke management rated for 90 min as tested by CPRI Roorkee, India Each FSD shall be of multi leaf type low leakeage and shall be tested inthe factory and will be certified by the manufactures in form of the test certificate. The actuator shall br direct coupled spring return type & motorised. Each FSD shall be supplied with matching sleeve (factory supply) and set of retaining angles for installation on wall /slab. Note: The actuator shall be in line with the technical specifications ans shall be maitenance free direct coupled spring return type suitable to work on 24 velectric supply., complete all as specified and as directed.

SCH 'A' PART XIII : Manning and operation of AC plant (PHASE-II WORK)
Out sourcing for Manning and Operation of Air Conditioning system as provided in Sch 'A' Part XI , in one shift of 08 hours per day by deploying 01 operator (ITI qualified) per shift of 08 Hrs including working on Saturday, Sunday and Holidays complete all as specified and as directed.
Note for BOQ item No - 5.1 : a) The contractor shall quote the rates for M&O only as comprehensive maintenance of the plant i.e. replacement of defective parts & providing spares, all consumables during this period of 02 (two) years from completion of phase -I shall be covered under defect liability period.
b) The work order of outsourcing for M & O shall be placed by GE & no price adjustment during whole period due to change in minimum fair wages shall be admissible.
c) The AC system will be operated for 08 hours in 01 shift per day, unless otherwise specified by the Engineer-in-Charge / GE.
d)The operator being deployed in the work shall have minimum qualification of ITI (Refrigeration & AC) / ITI (Mechanical) with 02 years experience in the relevent field. Necessary qualification certificate and experiance certificate shall be produced for verification of Engineer-in-Charge & get the approval before deploying for works.
e) Proper and effeicient functioning of the plant must be ensured through regular inspection by qualified Engineer bi-monthly preferably by OEM or by his authorised agency.
f) The contractor shall carry out routine maintenance as per procedure mentioned in the PS. Any repair/maintenance of minor spare parts covered under routine maintenance schedule shall be carried out by the contractor by engaging his labour.
