Schedule 'A'Section-II (Misc Items of Works) Note : This schedule is not pre-priced by MES and the pre-priced rate indicated as "Rs 0.00" under Col. 5 siginifies this fact only.

M&L for dehydration/filtration of transformer oil with mobile transformer filtration plant at site with all required accessories connected to transformer and carrying out filtration of old transformer oil for the desired dielectric strength of 60 KV at 2.5mm gap all as specified and directed.

Material only transformer oil low viscosity EHV grade having 60 KV di-electric strength conforming to IS-335 in original company sealed drum for replacement or topping up to oil level mark at the conservator all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Disconnecting HT/LT and earth termination connections from transformer, taking down the transformers from plinth/platform and loading into the vehicle; transporting the same to workshop for carrying out necessary repairs and back reconnecting HT/LT connections at site and charging the transformer on load, commissioning and testing including meggar test at site all as directed by Engineer - in - Charge

Draining out transformer oil, dismantling top cover alongwith conservator tank, taking out core and coil assemblies after disconnecting connections, rewinding of burnt out HV/LV coil with same size and type of super enamelled copper conductor and number of turns to get the same rating and insulating material such as paper insulator sleeves, heating etc. Putting back the core and coil assemblies into the tank after removing sludge and replacement of HT & LT bushing complete with brass terminal, refixing top cover and conservator including replacement of gasket, nut, bolts & washers (filling new transformer oil having 60 KV dielectric strength and carring out tests as per IS 2026 in presence of Engineer - in - charge for transformer 50 to 100KVA NOTE : (I) New transformer oil and its filling shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items of schedule.(ii) Cost of rewinding material, insulation material and spares of transformer shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item of Sch .(iii)Replacement of spares will be on required basis all as directed by Engr-inCharge.

As per item No 2.04 above but 100 to 300 KVA

Material for rewinding of HT coils with super enamelled copper winding wire of appropriate gauge and proper number of turns to get the same capacity along with insulating materials e.g. leathered paper insulation, cotton tape, empire tape, wooden blocks, PVC sleeves, soldering job, varnishing and heating, drying etc. complete to the satisfaction of Engr- in - Charge.

Same as Item No.2.06 above but of LT coils with super enamelled Class B copper strip with Electrical Grade Insulating Kraft paper all confirming to IEC-60554-3-5 (1984).

S&F tapping switch (tap changer) 7 positions suitable to vary secondary voltage ± 2.5% to ± 7.5% suitable for transformers of capacity upto 300 KVA all as directed

S&F in replacement bushing insulator made out of good superior quality ceramic, 1.1 kV, suitable for transformers of including 50 to 600 KVA

S&F transformer HV bushing made out of good superior quality ceramic, 11 kV rating, 200 Amps

S&F including with terminal rod made of brass both ends screwed with double washer and brass nut at both ends of superior quality including bushing insulator and gaskets for transformer 50 to 100 KVA

As per above item No 2.11 but 150 to 300 KVA

M&L for replacement of arc horn surge arrester complete with mounting ring, nut bolt etc. of approved make suitable for transformer of rating upto 300KVA all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L heat shrinkable bus bar protection tubes suitable for 25kV to be applied on rectangular bus bars copper/aluminium after proper cleaning of the bus bar for the complete satisfaction of Engr-in-charge.

S &F Breather assembly for transformercomplete.

Dial type temperature gauge 100 mm dia. with dual calibration in degree Celsius and degree Fahrenheit, range 0 to 50˚c and equivalent degree Fahrenheit complete with capillary tube and sensor.

M&L for replacement of existing unserviceable silica gel granules with new Self-indicating Orange to Green Silica Gel granules from transformer breather assembly all as specified and directed by Eng-in-Charge.

M&L for painting of transformers of rating 50 to 100 KVA with two coats of first quality synthetic enamel paint by spray painting technique after cleaning the body surface of transformer by rubbing with emery paper to remove oil stains, dust, etc. incl. writing SM/ MES numbers all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

All as per item No 2.18 but of rating 150 to 300 KVA

M & L for sheet metal work for repair to Transformer LV/HV cable termination box, mounting supports and other misc works, as directed by Engr-n-Charge, all as per existing size and shape of the boxes with 2 mm thick MS sheet duly painted with super enamelled paint - 02 coats over one coat of red oxide primer including necessary cutting, welding, fixing, nuts, bolts, washers, rubber sheets, etc. all to the complete satisfaction of Engr-in-Charge.

S&F heat shrink right angled boots for XLPE 1.1 KV 120 Sqmm cable.

S&F inspection glass and gasket of conservator of transformers of capacity 50 KVA to 300 KVA after draining out oil and refilling the same after filtration all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L anti-fungus acrylic paint in two coats incl one coat of 100% acrylic primer over newly plastered surface

M&L for Heat shrinkable cable end termination joint including jointing Kit outdoor type suitable for 3.5 core 400 sqmm 1.1KV XLPE aluminium conductor cable and LV testing after jointing and connecting up complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Heat shrinkable cable end termination joint including jointing Kit indoor type suitable for earthed 3 core 95/120 sqmm HT 11KV XLPE aluminium conductor cable and HV test after jointing and connecting up complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Heat shrinkable cable end termination joint including jointing Kit outdoor type suitable for earthed 3 core 95/120 sqmm HT 11 KV XLPE aluminium conductor cable and HV test after jointing and connecting up complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for extension to HV/LV bushings of transformer of any rating fabricated to required shape and size including drilling, fixing at location inclusive of nuts, bolts and washers and reconnecting the LV/HV cables all as directed and specified by Engr-in-Charge.

Disconnecting & taking out old unserviceable HT cable of size 3 x95 sq mm complete all as specified & directed. .

M&L for application of two coats of aluminium paint on steel tubular/rail pole of 11 Mtr long externally after removal of old paint, rust, dust, oil, grease or any other foreign deposits by paint removers or burning off by blow lamps, cleaning with scrapers and chemicals for removal of rust for any number of coats of any width or girth incl. numbering of poles in black base & white letters paint and incld. painting five no. strips upto 30 cm on bottom of pole with black and red colour paint alternately all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L in repairs Heat shrinkable straight through cable jointing kit suitable for earthed 3 core 95 sqmm HT 11 kV XLPE aluminium conductor cable incl disconnecting concerned cable, cutting out burnt/damaged jointing kit, jointing new kit incl. testing and commissioning of the complete cable to the complete satisfaction of Engr-in-Charge all as specified and directed. NOTE- (a). The quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive of cost of saddling or clamping of cable all as directed by Engr-in-Charge. (b). Contractor has to arrange proper electrical shutdown after informing to department concerned. (c). Cost of connected excavation, soil removal, returning filling in, sand cushioning and cable covers will be measured and paid in the respective items of the Schedule.

M&L for construction of PCC earthing chamber (1:2:4), type B1,using (20mm graded stone aggregate),"mild steel angle iron frame" made out of MS angle iron of size 40x40x6mm thick duly painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer hinged with and including 6mm thick CI cover with handle all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.
