REPAIR/MAINT OF CHEMICAL EARTHING, LIGHTING CONDUCTOR, L2, SWITCH IN AKASH VIHAR, VIJAY VIHAR AREA AND MES INSTALLATION AT AF STN GORAKHPUR.

M&L for monthly test / check of Earth Resistance (ER) values and Earth to Neutral (E-N) voltage in all types / premises of earthings such as Power / Equipment / Lightning arrester by Fall of potential method using three points spike with digital earth test machine to existing earthing pit after disconnecting of their outgoing strip / wire from test point. This work will includes following terms and conditions:- Note:-(a) The technician should be pre-qualified and well known regarding earthing test. (b) The aforesaid test will be carried out in presence of user and MES rep. c) Unit/Section and Date wise ER and E-N test register will be maintained with signature of User and MES rep and the same will be deposited to MES for onward repair/maint. (d) To maintain a separate register for checking of all Joints of strips (Copper/GI/Aluminium) as used around building and those coming from the equipment in the room, will also signed by User and MES. (e) To earmarked/locate the earth pit for which premises the same has been constructed. (f) To ensure said test of all Units/Sections of this Station will be completed upto and including 15th of each month. (g) Security pass for entering / working in tech area to be obtained as per Station rules. (h) Repair / Maint work will be carried out based on said Testing and the same will be measured and paid separately here-in-after.

Labour only for daily attending and rectification of existing earthings complaints of any type of earthings such as Power / Equipment / Lightning Arrester / Current leakage, to rectify the minor complaints such as E-N voltage problem (should be less than 5 Ohms) / repairing / plastering / white washing / Pit cover painting of existing earth pits, watering pipe line leakage, proper levelling of earth pit, soil and its marker, refixing of existing earth continuity and lightning conductors at any height, vertical alignment of lightning arrester, Balancing of electric load, making / repairing of earth test point etc as directed with their required minor connected materials, upto Users and MES satisfaction level, by providing sufficient and skilled electrician with labours during all working hours in Technical area at AF Station Gorakhpur all as reqd and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note:(a) Minor repairs as mentioned above shall deemed to be included in this item of work. (b) The rate quoted by the contractor for Each Job shall deemed to be included 01 complaint / 01 No of any one type of aforesaid work of any Unit/ Section in Tech Area. (c) The contractor or his representative will take complaint from MES complaint Cell through MES Job Card. (d) The contractor will made Unit / Section wise separate Earthing Infrastructure Maintenance register with work carried out and get signed by MES and User rep. (e) The ladder and T&P as required will be provided by the contractor. (f) Risk factor will be the contractor's end. (g) Security pass for entering / working in Tech area to be obtained as per Station rules.

S&F copper electrode chemical earthing with high conductive, corrosion resistant, CPRI Tested and CE Certified Maintenance free chemical earthing pit (pipe in pipe technology Based) in which primary conductor (Pipe) having 40 MM dia and secondary conductor having 80 MM dia. The primary conductor is inserted into secondary conductor and between secondary and primary conductor of earthing electrode crystalline compound is to be injected. The length of this electrodes is min 3000 MM (3 meters) having 45 Kg of ground enhancement compound. It contain a homogenous mixture of conductive cement, electrolyte corbon, Hydrous alluminium cilicate and other electrolyte compound complete and 60 Kg contain a homogenous mixture of conductive cement, Coal powder, electrolyte corbon, Hydrous alluminium cilicate and other electrolyte compound. Filled in earth pit of bore hole of 200 to 250 MM dia and depth upto 6.15 meters min length of electrode will be increase with connecting of 32 x 6 mm copper strip extra up to 3.5 meters, and total depth of earthing electrodes in min 6.15 meters for achieve resistance valve less than or equal to 1.0 Ohm including RCC earthing pit cover having 450 x 450 CI chamber cover all as directed. Note: (a) If less than 1.0 Ohm result has not achieved at site, the contractor is responsible to done grid system to achieve the desired result and no extra payment shall be claimed by the contractor to this effect. (b) Earth continuity conductor of length upto 7.50 mtr from electrode shall deemed to be included in the quoted rate).

M&L for earthing complete with Copper plate 600x600x3.15mm thick electrode & 20x3 mm copper strip as earthing lead buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 3.0 mtr deep below ground level) with top edged of the plate not less than 2.40 mtr below normal ground level, connected to copper earth lead by means of bolt, nut, check nut and washer of copper strip of size 20X3.15mm as earthing lead as shown in Electrical Plate No 4 of SSR Part I connected to earthing test point all as specified or indicated and testing on completion including necessary excavation and earth work in soft/ loose soil, earth pit in PCC 1:3:6 type C1 using 20mm stone aggregate, funnel, 20mm dia GI med grade water pipe, 40mm dia GI light grade earth lead protection pipe, CI frame and cover, wire, copper lugs, wire mesh, charcoal or coke and common salt in alterative layer all around the earth electrode compacted thickness 15 cm including excavation and earth work pit cover including disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50m, complete testing on completion all complete as shown in electrical plate No. 4 of SSR part No1 all as directed. Note: (a) If less than 2.0 Ohm result has not achieved at site, the contractor is responsible to done grid system to achieve the desired result and no extra payment shall be claimed by the contractor to this effect. (b) Earth continuity conductor of length upto 7.50 mtr from electrode shall deemed to be included in the quoted rate).

M&L for earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 600mm X600mmX6mm buried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25 meter below normal ground level (with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 meter below ground level) connected to galvanized iron earth strip 32x6 mm, (main earthing lead ) by means of galvanized bolts, nuts and washers all as shown in electrical plate no 3 of MES Schedule Part-I (2009) with connected to earth test point & to main switch board with & including adequate quantity of charcoal dust and common salt alround earth plate & 15 mm dia GI pipe light grade for earth lead protection pipe for suitable length and GI pipe 20 mm dia light grade for watering pipe with funnel & wire mesh including necessary earth work and PCC (1: 3 : 6) type C-1 for earth pit and 40 mm thick precast RCC cover in 1 : 2 : 4 type B1 with 3 Nos 6 mm dia MS bars both ways complete all as specified & directed. Note:(a) If less than 5.0 Ohm result has not achieved at site, the contractor is responsible to done grid system to achieve the desired result and no extra payment shall be claimed by the contractor to this effect. Supply and spreading in layers Magnesium Sulphate (MgSO4 crystal) for repair to existing earthing pit complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for brazing of earthing strips (GI/Copper/Aluminium) by arc/gas welding approx 50mm long tapper joint complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for replacement of bolts stainless steel of size 1/4"x1" with nuts & washer (01 each) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for construction of earth pit chamber of internal dimensions of 300x300x250mm in brick masonry built in PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate for earth pit with pre cast RCC cover slab (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate 40mm thick reinforced with 8mm dia TMT bars 3 Nos both way with 12mm dia MS round bar handle, GI light grade watering pipe 20 mm dia- 2.0mtr long with funnel and wire mesh including taking out and dismantle of unserviceable earth pits complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead 32mmx6mm copper strip/earth lead, laid in trench, fixed on walls or any other position including jointing by tinned copper/brass nuts, bolts and washers in addition to brazing at every joint, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead 20mmx3mm copper strip/earth lead, laid in trench, fixed on walls or any other position including jointing by tinned copper/brass nuts, bolts and washers in addition to brazing at every joint, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead 32mmx6mm GI strip/earth lead, laid in trench, fixed on walls or any other position including jointing by tinned GI nuts, bolts and washers in addition to brazing at every joint, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement aluminium strip of size 25x3.15 mm complete with saddle, porcelain insulator and fixing screws, washer/accessories for roof and down conductor complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement Air termination, single pointed copper rod 12mm dia and 300mm long fixed/ tightened properly at directed location/ height complete all as specified and directed.

Labour only for dismantling of unserviceable and abandoned earth pits (above ground) and level the surface up to existing ground level complete all as specified and directed.

M&F for fabrication and installation/errection of sign board (as marker of earth pit) made out of 3.15 mm thick MS flat iron plate of size 200 mm wide and 300 mm length, shall be welded properly with angle iron support of size 30x30x4.0mm thick of length 80cm in which 30cm will be embedded in PCC foundation of size 30x30x35cm depth below ground level with cement concrete of ratio 1:3:6 type B1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate and slope coping not less than 10cm above ground level including plastering, white washing of masonary surface and two coats of synthetic enamelled directed colour paint over a coat of red oxide primer on steel surfaces as well as writing following details in capital letters form of 25mm height and 10mm width on front side of the steel plate in black colour paint including taking out old unserviceable board of any type complete all as specified and directed . Note:- Flat iron plate will be modified as triangular/circular/ rectangular etc as per sample/sketch but not exceeding the dimension as given in schedule:- (a) Type of earthing- GI or Copper or Chemical (b) Earthing for which equipment is being connected. (e.g Lightning Arrester-"LA") (c) Number of earth pit and the total number of particular type of earthing for that Bldg/Equipment (e.g Number 01 Lightning Arrester pit out of 04 Nos pit of same - "LA-01/04")

Excavation in trenches in soft/loose soil n.exc 1.5 mtr wide and n.exc 1.5 mtr depth and getting out for cable trench complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm thick complete all as specified and directed.

Removing surplus excavated material not exc 50 mtrs and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Boring of holes horizontally for laying of upto 25mm dia pipe (minimum depth 600mm from top level) under road, Pavement, hard standing complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for making PCC foundation of size 30x30x40cm depth (for support of watering pipe as well as lightning spikes as reqd) with cement concrete of ratio 1:3:6 type B-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate including plastering in CM 1:4, two coat white washing of masonary surface complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cutting and threading of existing GI pipe of dia upto 25mm for branch connection including provisioning / insertion of 01 No Tee GI of 15 or 20mm dia outgoing complete all as specified and directed.

S&F galvanised steel water tubes medium grade 15mm dia including all fittings and connection fixed to wall or under the floor complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F galvanised steel water tubes medium grade 20mm dia including all fittings and connection fixed to wall or under the floor complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in repair bib tap standard of PTMT any colour high pressure screwed for iron pipes 15 mm dia (Minimum weight 90 gms) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for making computerised made PVC sticker as per existing shape/size not exceeding 200mmx300mm width and writing following details in Capital letters form of 25mm height and 10mm width on single side of the sticker in black colour with red or yellow colour back ground as required at site complete shall be paste properly and make to shape as per size of existing MS board complete all as specified and directed with following:- (a) Type of earthing-GI or Copper or Chemical (b) Earthing for which equipment is being connected (e.g. lightning arrester) (c) Number of earth pit and the total number of particular type of earthing for that Bldg/Equipment (e.g. Number-01 Lightning Arrester pit out of 04 Nos pit of same- "LA-01/04")

S&F 80mm dia GI tube medium grade to be welded in existing pipe of same size for rising the height of existing lightning arrester including all required materials for strengthening complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repair High density polyethylene pipes (HDPE) of size 40mm dia laid in trenches as well as fixed to wall with provisioning of suitable sizes of MS clamps (1 mtr apart), screws etc for passing of lightning arrester strips complete all as specified and directed.
