Sub-Head : Earth Work Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means over areas (exceeding 30cm in depth, 1.5m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan) including getting out and disposal of excavated and up to 50m and lift up to 1.5m,as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (a) All kinds of soil
Filling available excavated earth (excluding rock) in trenches, plinth, sides of foundations etc. in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth, consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering, lead up to 50 m and lift up to 1.5 m.
Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level : (a) 1:5:10 (1 cement : 5 coarse sand(zone-III) derived from natural sources : 10 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size derived from natural sources)
Sub-Head : Reinforced Cement Concrete Providing and laying in position specified grade of reinforced cement concrete, excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement - All work up to plinth level : a) 1:1.5:3 (1 cement : 1.5 coarse sand (zone-III) derived from natural sources : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size derived from natural sources)
Reinforced cement concrete work in walls (any thickness), including attached pilasters, buttresses, plinth and string courses, fillets, columns, pillars, piers, abutments, posts and struts etc. above plinth level up to floor five level, excluding cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement : a) 1:1.5:3 (1 cement : 1.5 coarse sand(zone-III)derived from natural sources : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal sizederived from natural sources)
Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form for : a) Foundations, footings, bases of columns, etc. for mass concrete
b) Lintels, beams, plinth beams, girders, bressumers and cantilevers
c) Columns, Pillars, Piers, Abutments, Posts and Struts
Steel reinforcement for R.C.C. work including straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position and binding all complete above plinth level. a) Thermo-Mechanically Treated bars of grade Fe-500D or more.
Sub-Head : Masonry Work Brick work with common burnt clay F.P.S. (non modular) bricks of class designation 7.5 in foundation and plinth in: a) Cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement : 6 coarse sand)
Brick work with common burnt clay F.P.S. (non modular) bricks of class designation 7.5 in superstructure above plinth level up to floor V level in all shapes and sizes in : ( Bricks will be supplied by the Deptt.) a) Cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement : 6 coarse sand)
Sub-Head : Finishing 12 mm cement plaster of mix : a) 1:6 (1 cement: 6 coarse sand)
15 mm cement plaster on rough side of single or half brick wall of mix : a) 1:6 (1 cement: 6 coarse sand)
Finishing walls with water proofing cement paint of required shade : a) New work (Two or more coats applied @ 3.84 kg/10 sqm).
Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade : a) Two or more coats on new work.
Sub-Head : Repairs to Buildings Repairs to plaster of thickness 12 mm to 20 mm in patches of area 2.5 sq. meters and under, including cutting the patch in proper shape, raking out joints and preparing and plastering the surface of the walls complete, including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground , all complete as per directions of Engineer-In-Charge. a) With cement mortar 1:4 (1cement: 4 coarse sand).
Sub-Head : Road Work Fencing with angle iron post placed at required distance embedded in cement concrete blocks, every 15th post, last but one end post and corner post shall be strutted on both sides and end post on one side only and provided with horizontal lines and two diagonals interwoven with horizontal wires, of barbed wire weighing 9.38 kg per 100 m (minimum), between the two posts fitted and fixed with G.I. staples, turn buckles etc. complete. (Cost of posts, struts, earth work and concrete work to be paid for separately). Payment to be made per metre cost of total length of barbed wire used. a) With G.I. barbed wire
Supplying at site Angle iron post & strut of required size including bottom to be split and bent at right angle in opposite direction for 10 cm length and drilling holes upto 10 mm dia. etc. complete.
Sub-Head :Miscellaneous Credit for old unserviceable mild steel angles and barbed wire received from dismantling work
