REPLACEMENT OF OLD PCC STREET LIGHT POLE INTO GI OCTAGONAL POLE STEEL TABULAR DECORATIVE POLE WITH CONNECTED WORKS AT BAIRAGARH UNDER GE BHOPAL

Dismantiling and removing of existing Cemented (PCC) Poles incl coping and GI bracket (of any size or type) carefully without making any damage to existing system from site and leveling,matching with existing surface ground level for taking credit complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer in Charge.

Supply and erection of decorative Hot dip galvanized tapered octagonal pole of height 9.0 mtrs in single section having top dia 70mm and bottom dia 155mm made up of 3mm thick sheet and welded with a base plate of size 250mm x 250mm x 16mm thick and provided with 1200mm long single arm bracket with 15 degree of angle for mounting street light fitting complete with provision of 04 Nos of ‘J’ type foundation bolts of size not less than 20mm dia, 750mm long embedded in RCC foundation concrete as per manufacturer’s recommendation including necessary earth work, RFR etc complete. A door should be provided at a height of 500mm from the base plate for accommodating and including provision of TPN aluminium bus bar system suitable for connecting up to 4 core, 16 sqmm aluminium cable including 01 No. of 20 A SP MCB for street light protection inside the pole shaft and 3 core, 1.50 sqmm PVC insulated PVC sheathed copper conductor cable 1100 volts grade confirming to IS:694 from pole junction box to street light fitting drawn through inside of pole . Radium reflector band / strips of 30 cm wide in Yellow (02 Nos) & Black (01 No.) colour shall be provided at a height of 1.25mtr from base plate. Numbering of pole shall be done in black colour on yellow background at suitable place on the pole complete as specified and directed. Note:-(i) The quoted rate shall deemed to be inclusive of RCC foundation, necessary excavation, earth work & RFR etc complete as per manufacturer's recommendation. (ii) Foundation detail:- Minimum depth of foundation of pole shall be 1500mm from GL or upto hard strata with 200mm pedestal above GL, M20 grade concrete Fe 415 grade of steel minimum 4 Nos 12mm main bars with stirrup as 8mm dia @ 150 c/c with necessary arrangement for cable entry. (iii) Contractor shall produce sample of pole to GE before execution. (iv) Drawing of pole and foundation drawing as per manufacturers recommondation shall be approved by the GE before starting of work. Make of octagonal pole:- Bajaj, Phillips, crompton or equivalent.

Taking down existing serviceable street light fitting from PCC/Steel tubular pole and shifting to new pole carefully without making any damage, re-fixing with MS clamps, nuts, bolts etc and connecting with PVC insulated 1.5sqmm 3 core copper conductor cable from junction box to light fitting complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for fixing of Double wall corrugated HDPE pipe, ISI marked of outer dia 50mm, inner dia 38mm with smooth internal and profiled external surface, non-pressure type, laid in trenches/floors/duct or fixed on walls /pole including all connections, accessories like socket, couplers, bends, etc for protection of LT cable XLPE grade 1100 volts complete all as specified and directed. Note- earth work shall be measured and paid separately.

M&L earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode size 600X600X6mm thick burried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25m deep below normal ground level with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5m deep below normal ground level and connected to and including GI earth lead wire 4mm dia by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts & washers of galvanised iron including brazing and connected to test point all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR part I-2009 and all as specified or indicated and testing on completion including excavation and earth work in any type of strata available at site, PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 earthing chamber, pre cast RCC slab 50 mm thick in cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate reinforced with welded steel wire fabric (XPM) weight not less than 4 kg/sqm funnel with GI watering pipe of 20 mm bore medium grade, wire mesh and lugs, GI protection pipe of 15 mm bore light grade up to 7.5 metre long all as specified and directed. NOTE :- GI earth wire and protection pipe beyond 7.5 metre will be measured and paid separately.

Supply, laying, connecting and testing LT XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip armoured, heavy duty cable, 1100 volts grade, laid in trenches, passing through pipes/ducts, on walls with shadel, etc including taking out old unserveciable cable, any type with aluminium conductor of size 10 Sqmm nominal cross section x 2 core complete all as specified and directed.
