Filling available excavated earth (excluding rock) in trenches, plinth, sides of foundations etc. in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth, consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering, lead up to 50 m and lift up to 1.5 m.

Extra for every additional lift of 1.5 m or part thereof in excavation /banking excavated or stacked materials.

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level :

1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand(zone-III) : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size)

1:4:8 (1 Cement : 4 coarse sand(zone-III) : 8 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size).

Providing and laying in position specified grade of reinforced cement concrete, excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement - All work up to plinth level :

1:1.5:3 (1 cement : 1.5 coarse sand (zone-III): 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size)

Smooth finishing of the exposed surface of R.C.C. work with 6 mm thick cement mortar 1:3 (1 Cement : 3 fine sand).

Finishing walls with Acrylic Smooth exterior paint of required shade :

New work (Two or more coat applied @ 1.67 ltr/10 sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 2.20 kg/10 sqm).

Rust removing and providing epoxy zinc rich priming of Galvanising M.S. Anchor bolts of 32mm dia for a length of 30cm from the screwed end (threaded portion) including zinc rich priming of necessary nuts, check nuts & washers and including conveyance etc complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge

Labour charges for fixing anchor bolts using templates base plates and base angles during laying stem concrete including levelling and fixing properly as directed by the Engineer-in- charge. (Rate excluding the cost of anchor bolts).

Providing Horizontal cable tray and missing tower sections /bolt and nuts with galvanised steel sections connected by the bolts & nuts or by welding to required line and level including connecting legs as required.

Providing & placing in position prefabricated structure made up of 4 nos of GI plates of size 600mm x 600mm x 6mm interconnected by GI flat of size 50mm x 3mm with and with lead sheath between GI plates and flats and nuts and joints being made moisture proof necessary GI bolts providing and placing in position watering pipe of 20mm dia GI pipe of length 3.0 m with funnel at top including filling finely sieved good soil for earth pit size of 2.0m x 2.0m upto a height of 1.5m from the bottom as per specification for earthing, brick masonry chamber of size 300x300x300mm with CI cover and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. (The galvanising shall be as per IS 4759 with average mass of zinc coating of 610gm/sqm, i.e. approximately 85 micron. The GI flat to be paid for separately)

Providing and laying ring earth by excavating trenches a trench of 300 mm width and 1500 mm deep and at bottom of the then laying GI strip of 50x3 mm at the bottom of the trench and connecting it to all the tower legs withGI strip of 50 mx3 mm with GI bolt and nuts and also making provision for connecting ring earth to lightning spike by providing 50x3 mm GI strip one end of which is connected to the ring earth by means of GI bolts and nuts and other end left free above by Engineer-in-charge.(Earthwork and refilling paid separately under relevant items)

Providing and fixing GI strip of size 50 x 3 mm with necessary GI clamps at every 1.50m, interval with Porcelain insulator, bolts, nuts, screws, etc.along with vertical runway including connecting with lightning spike at top of tower and earth at ground without overlap joint etc., complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. The rate includes all required materials, labours

Providing and fixing testing joint, made of 50 x 6 mm GI strip, 250mm long with 6 Nos of GI bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers etc., complete as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and fixing spike type lightening arrester made of 25mm dia hollow copper pipe of wall thickness 1.60mm and required length with necessary fixtures at top of the tower. The spike shall be insulated by Teflon material and connected to GI plate earthing by GI flat 50 x 3mm with proper lugging arrangement as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. (Cost of G.I. Flat of 50 x 3 mm shall be paid separately). ( Spilke will be supplied by BSNL )

Transportation of G.I. tower materials, etc weighing approximately 9.00MT from BSNL store yard at Perundurai to the worksite at including loading & unloading and lifting of tower materials as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Erection of Galvanised Steel tower structure upto a height of 40m (GBT) including lifting upto the required levels with necessary tools and plants required as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.(The rate inclusive of insurance coverage as applicable under Clause 46 of General condition of contract and labour charges for checking of tower with torque wrench while conducting Tower A/T etc.

Transportation of M.S. anchor bolts and G.I. base angles and baseplates from BSNL storeyard at Perundurai to the wok site at Ingur including loading and unloading all as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
