Providing and fixing aluminium work for doors, windows, ventilators and partitions with extruded built up standard tubular sections/appropriate Z sections and other sections of approved make conforming to IS: 733 and IS: 1285, fixing with dash fasteners of required dia and size, including necessary filling up the gaps at junctions, i.e. at top, bottom and sides with required EPDM rubber/neoprene gasket etc. Aluminium sections shall be smooth, rust free, straight, mitred and jointed mechanically wherever required including cleat angle, Aluminium snap beading for glazing / paneling, C.P. brass/ stainless steel screws, all complete as per architectural drawings and the directions of Engineer-in-charge. Providing and fixing factory made P.V.C. door frame of size 50x47 mm with a wall thickness of 5 mm, made out of extruded 5mm rigid PVC foam sheet, mitred at corners and joined with 2 Nos of 150 mm long brackets of 15x15 mm M.S. square tube, the vertical door frame profiles to be reinforced with 19x19 mm M.S. square tube of 19 gauge, EPDM rubber gasket weather seal to be provided through out the frame. The door frame to be fixed to the wall using M.S. screws of 65/100 mm size, complete as per manufacturer’s specification and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and fixing factory made panel PVC door shutter consisting of frame made out of M.S. tubes of 19 gauge thickness and size of 19 mm x 19 mm for styles and 15x15 mm for top & bottom rails. M.S. frame shall have a coat of steel primers of approved make and manufacture. M.S. frame covered with 5 mm thick heat moulded PVC ‘C’ channel of size 30mm thickness, 70 mm width out of which 50 mm shall be flat and 20 mm shall be tapered in 45 degree angle on both side forming styles and 5 mm thick, 95 mm wide PVC sheet out of which 75 mm shall be flat and 20 mm shall be tapered in 45 degree on the inner side to form top and bottom rail and 115 mm wide PVC sheet out of which 75 mm shall be flat and 20 mm shall be tapered on both sides to form lock rail.

Providing plastering in three layers on stone masonry wall with sunken pointing base to provide a level and smooth surface in the manner described hereunder:-

1.The joints should be raked out properly including cleaning of the wall/ pointing area to remove dust, loose mortars, flakes of paint or any other foreign matter deposited on surface or in joints etc. with wire brush & pressure jet using water to ensure a minimum cavity of 20mm between joints, 2.Applying a coat of cement slurry (@ 1kg/sqm) before commencement of levelling course to improve bond between stone wall and the plaster, 3.A first levelling course of plaster in cement mortar 1:3 (1 Cement: 3 Coarse Sand) in required thickness, preferable not exceeding 15mm (avg.), to cover the grooves of the sunken pointing and maximum of uneven surface of basalt stone masonry,

4.After a suitable time interval (preferably not more than 5 days) the second coat may be applied. Over the levelling course, chicken mesh of approved quality (to be paid for separately), should be fixed with nails leaving a gap between the chicken mesh and the levelling course. Surface of the first undercoat shall be adjusted and screeds laid to serve as guides in bringing the work to an even surface. On the surface so prepared, a second course of plaster in cement mortar 1:3 (1 Cement: 3 Coarse Sand) is applied covering the stone undulations completely.

5.After a further suitable time interval, the finishing coat of 6mm thick cement plaster should be applied using cement mortar 1:3 (1 Cement: 3 Fine Sand). Note: The plastering layers including the finishing coat, shall be paid on Cubic meter basis with area measured in Sqm and average thickness of cement mortar shall be arithmetical average of all the measurements of thickness suitably taken at the edge of every gauge plaster to be laid on the stones as per clause 13.1.4 of CPWD Specification- 2009, Vol. II. The gauge plaster shall be laid in such a way that mortar thickness on the highest projected face shall be zero.

Providing and fixing galvanised chicken wire mesh of approved quality on plastered stone surface using nails and washers as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and fixing 600x450 mm beveled edge mirror of superior glass (of approved quality) complete with 6 mm thick hard board ground fixed to wooden cleats with C.P. brass screws and washers complete.

Providing and fixing toilet paper holder : a) C.P. brass

Repairs to existing wooden door/ cupboard/ window shutter by first removing the shutter from its position repairing the same by replacing the damaged portion by suitable material with zig-zag pins, screws, nails, including replacing the hinges if required and plaining the edges if required and making it operational properly and refixing the same to its original position etc all complete as directed by Engineer in charge.

Dismantling old plaster or skirting raking out joints and cleaning the surface for plaster including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground within 50 metres lead.

Providing and laying Vitrified tiles in different sizes (thickness to be specified by manufacturer) with water absorption less than 0.08 % and conforming to I.S. 15622, of approved make in all colours & shade in skirting, riser of steps, over 12 mm thick bed of cement mortar 1:3 (1cement: 3 coarse sand), jointing with grey cement slurry @ 3.3kg/sqm including grouting the joint with white cement & matching pigments etc. complete. a) Size of Tile 600x600 mm

Applying one coat of water thinnable cement primer of approved brand and manufacture on wall surface : a) Water thinnable cement primer.

Providing and applying fibre reinforced elastomeric liquid water proofing membrane with resilient acrylic polymers having Sun Reflectivity Index (SRI) of 105 on top of concrete roof in three coats @10.76 litre/ 10 sqm. One coat of self-priming of elastomeric waterproofing liquid (dilution with water in the ratio of 3:1) and two coats of undiluted elastomeric waterproofing liquid (dry film thickness of complete application/system not less than 500 microns). The operation shall be carried out after scrapping and properly cleaning the surface to remove loose particles with wire brushes, complete in all respect as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
