M&L for applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxside on new or previously untreated steel and iron surface incl preparation complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of old painted steel surfaces over 10cm in width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of red oxide complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling brick tiles in roof top laid bedded & pointed in any mortar and removing from site complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of mud or existing roof treatment of, any thickness, including plastering and leaping of any description whether part removal or full complete all as specified and directed.

M&L preparation of newly plastered surfaces of roof including cleaning the surfaces by using wire brush/ pressure hose and applying high performance polyurethane liquid membrane waterproofing coating cold applied in two coats @ 1.5kg/Sqm/2coats spray/brush applied, with an elongation of 300% to 700% and tensile strength of not less than 3N/Sqmm as per ASTM D412 and ASTM C2370, crack bridging ability of 3.5mm as per ASTM C1305, shore a hardness of not less than 60 as per ASTM D2240. The item includes applying epoxy primer @ 0.15Kg/Sqm and a geotextile of 40 GSM to be applied over first coat while first coat is still wet complete as per manufacturer's instructions complete all as specified and directed.Note:- 1. The contractor shall submit a guarantee of 10 years from the date of completion of work for waterproofing treatment alongwith manufactures’ guarantee. The amount of Rs 40 (Forty) per sqm and min of Rs. 4000/- for waterproofing treatment shall be withheld from contractor's final bill till the expiry of guarantee period. The contractor at his own option may furnish fix deposit receipt pledged in favour of GE (East) Agra against guarantee money. 2. The water proofing shall be carried out by authorised applicator of manufacturer. The name of applicator shall be got approved from GE before commencement of work.
