Material and labour for preparation of existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags or compressed air to remove all loose, dirt, etc. and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer (Paving bitumen VG 10 Grade) @ 5 Kg per 10Sqm complete all as specified and directed.
Material and labour for premixed sand seal coat using paving bitumen @ 6.8 Kg per 10 Sqm, blinded with 0.06 Cum of sand and well rammed (paving bitumen of grade VG-30), rolled with 8 to 10 tonne power roller to uniform smooth surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.
Material & labour for premixed bituminous macadam laid / rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (Consolidated thickness 75mm or less) using with paving bitumen or any penetration of binder at 4% by weight of total mix complete all as specified and directed. Note : Bituminous macadam shall be prepaired in auto hot mix plant and laying shall be carried out by mechanical paver. These aspects are deemed to be included in the quoted rate.
Material and labour for providing bituminous premixed carpet 40mm consolidated thickness with 0.54 cum of stone chippings mixed with 29.20 Kg of binder (paving bitumen of grade VG-30) per 10 Sqm, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient etc. complete all as specified and directed.
