Excavating in trenches, not exc 1.5 metre wide and not exc 1.5 metre in depth, for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. laying cables, pipes, etc. not exc 10 Sqm on plan & not exc 1.5m in depth and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per serial item No. 2.00 here-in-before but depth exc 1.5 metre and not exc 3 metre complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm thick in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated soil/material to a distance not exc 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.50 metre above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and erecting of steel tubular swaged pole with cast iron base plate, finial taper plug, bolts, nuts & washers as per IS 2713 (Part-II) 1980 made out of mild steel tubing, type 410 SP-55 (11 metre long) including painting of poles with one coat of red oxide primer and two coat of aluminum paint (one coat before fixing and one coat of aluminum paint after fixing) over exposed surface and two coats of bituminous paint over embedded portion & the portion above coping shall be painted in alternative bands of black and yellow colour starting with white colour (each band of 30cm wide) by two coats of super enameled paint upto 1.5m height including taking out old unserviceable HT PCC Pole complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Excavation, earthwork, PCC in foundation & coping shall be measured and paid for separately.

M&L for PCC (1:3:6) type C-2 using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in foundation for stays & filling, mass concrete and similar works including necessary form work as required and fair finishing complete all as specified and directed. Note : Volume of pole/strut embedded in concrete shall be deducted for the purpose of payment.

M&L for cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in copings, pedestal of poles and the like including use and waste of form work (straight or curved), all exposed surface of concrete finished even & smooth without using extra cement, complete all as specified & as directed. Note : Volume of pole/strut embedded in concrete shall be deducted for the purpose of payment.

M&L for sand cushioning using clean local unwashed river sand for underground cable 8 cm before laying cable and 15 cm after laying and punned to 18 cm after laying of under ground electric cable complete all as specified and as directed. Notes:-(i) Approved local river sand free from vegetations, grass and other deleterious substances shall be used. (ii) For the purpose of payment, only punned thickness shall be measured.

Supplying and laying factory made, un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover, ISI marked, Class HV, Type 1, flat, size 300mm x 180mm x 40mm, laid as cable protection cover in trenches, complete all as specified & as directed.

Supply, laying, jointing and testing HT XLPE (cross linked polyethylene) insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured electric power cable (heavy duty) with aluminium stranded conductor 11000 Volt (Earthed) grade of cross sectional area 95 Sqmm, 3 Core (ISI marked) laid in trenches/ducts, through pipe, under floors or roads/ along poles etc, including dismantling & taking out old unserviceable HT cable, complete all as specified & as directed. Notes :- (i) Sand cushioning, cable protection, GI protection pipe, jointing kits and excavation & earth work shall be measured & paid for separately. (ii) Road cutting/floor cutting /cutting holes etc in walls required for laying/fixing of cable etc shall be made good as per existing. Nothing extra shall be admissible on this account. Quoted rates shall be inclusive of the above provisions.

M&L for Boring of holes under road, pavement, hard standing, etc by manually without disturbing the top surface suitable for passing the GI protection pipe for cables complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F Aluminium Conductor Steel Reinforced (ACSR) of any size as directed, stringing for overhead line on 11 KV HT poles including jointing with and including aluminium binding wire 2 mm dia, jumpers, line tapes, conducting jelly, stretching properly and connecting with suitable PG clamps, etc including dismantling and taking down old existing unserviceable aluminium conductor steel reinforced (ACSR) of any size/type/capacity, complete all as specified and as directed. Notes : (i) The ACSR conductors shall conforming to IS-398 (Part-II) and as specified in SSR Part-I. (ii) The unit rate quoted shall also deemed to include for supply and fixing of binding wire, aluminium tapes, etc which shall not be included in the weight of conductors for payment. (iii) Weight of conductors shall be determined by measuring the horizontal distance between centers of two adjacent poles and compounding the weight of conductors of that size and length and 3% extra shall be added for sag, jointing, jumpers etc. (iv) Weight of the conductors shall be calculated from the nominal weights given in tables in the relevant IS code.

S&F cross arms, bracing, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections conforming to Grade E-165 (Fe 290) including nuts, bolts, washers, welding, bending cold or hot, drilled holes for bolts, in any shape or size as directed with & including applying two coats of aluminium paint (under & finishing coats) over a coat of red oxide zinc chromate primer on exposed steel surfaces after preparation of surfaces including taking down old cross arms, bracing, supports, clamps and back plates etc complete all as specified and as directed. Note: - (i) Sizes, sections & types of members and shape of the cross arms etc shall be as required at site and all as directed. (ii) Un-exposed steel surfaces shall be given one coat of red-oxide zinc chromate primer only. Cost of the same is included in unit rate of the item and nothing extra shall be paid on this account. (iii) Weight of paint shall not be considered for payment purpose and quoted rate shall deemed to be included this aspect.

S&F in replacement of Switch air break, gang operated outdoor, Vertical operated type, HT 11 KV, Triple pole, 200 Amps, 3 insulator per phase, rotating vertical type, with fixed contacts of phosphorous bronze and moving contacts of copper, manually operated from ground level with operating mechanism including GI tubing medium grade 25mm bore operating rod, pad locking arrangements, MS arcing horns, flexible braiding earthing blades, rod and contacts without drop out fuse assembly and jumpers with Mink conductor line, taps, clamps, colour coated HT sleeves and fittings suitable for vertical mounting, fixed complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in replacement of Switch air break, gang operated outdoor, Horizontal operated type, HT 11 KV, Triple pole, 400 Amps, 3 insulator per phase, tilting/rocking horizontal type, with fixed contacts of phosphorous bronze and moving contacts of copper, manually operated from ground level with operating mechanism including GI tubing medium grade 25mm bore operating rod, pad locking arrangements, MS arcing horns, flexible braiding earthing blades, rod and contacts without drop out fuse assembly and jumpers with Mink conductor line, taps, clamps, colour coated HT sleeves and fittings suitable for horizontal mounting, fixed in repairs, complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in replacement of Lightning arresters HT 11 KV, 65 kilo Amp Non linear expulsion type complete with all fittings distribution class discharge with standard fittings confirming to IS-3070 (Part-I) 1993, fixed complete all as specified & as directed.

S&F Pin type insulator, porcelain, vitreous, white, brown or green for working pressure 11000 Volts, 150mm height and 150mm dia including galvanized mild steel spindle, two Nos GI washers, one No GI nut, including dismantling & taking down old unserviceable insulator, complete all as specified & as directed.

S&F Disc type insulator, porcelain, vitreous, 145mm high and 255mm dia ball and socket type, white, brown or green, single disc assembly for tension with tension clamps for conductors, working pressure 11000 Volts, including dismantling & taking down old unserviceable insulator, complete all as specified & as directed.

S&F in replacement of Earthing continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall or batten or recess or buried in ground or drawn in conduit /pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. as required 32x6 mm galvanized iron strip complete all as specified and directed.

S&F Danger notice plate of 25x20cm size, 1.6mm thick mild steel sheet, vitreous enameled white, with letters, figures and conventional skull and bones in signal red colour for HT 11000 Volts and fixed with suitable MS clamps made out of flat iron 25x3mm, bolts and nuts of approved size, fixed in repairs, complete all as specified & as directed.

S&F Danger notice plate of 20x15cm size, 1.6mm thick mild steel sheet, vitreous enameled white, with letters, figures and conventional skull and bones in signal red colour for LT 1100 Volts and fixed with suitable MS clamps made out of flat iron 20x3mm, bolts and nuts of approved size, fixed in repairs, complete all as specified & as directed.

Dehydration & filtration of transformer oil with portable filtration cum dehydration machine to improve the dielectric strength, not less than 40 to 60 KV within 1 minute with 4 mm Gap at site of any installation in Cantt area of any capacity/make of transformer installed on pole mounted, indoor/outdoor type plinth mounted complete all as specified and as directed. Notes: (i) All necessary T&P / testing equipment shall be provided by the contractor at his own cost. No extra payment shall be made to the contractor. (ii) Contractor shall ensure that there shall be no wastage of transformer oil. (iii) Contractor shall ensure that conservator tank is full to its level before starting the dehydration. (iv) New Transformer Oil required for topping up shall be measured and paid for separately under relevant item of this Schedule. (v) Testing of dielectric strength of dehydrated transformer oil of each transformer shall be carried out in the presence of Engineer-in-Charge and cost thereof shall be borne by the contractor.

Supply and filling in replacement or new mineral grade transformer oil EHV type conforming to IS-335 of 1993 for topping up in transformer duly filtered with filtration plant to obtain high dielectric strength not less than 60 KV (gap 2.5mm) complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Transformer oil shall be supplied in sealed barrels with test certificate. Cost of barrel shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted by the contractor and empty barrel will be property of the Department and same shall be deposited to the AGE E/M Store Yard. Nothing extra shall be paid on this account.

M&L for disconnecting of defective transformer (indoor/outdoor type) 11 KV/433 Volts copper wound from power mains and dismantling the same from 2/4 Pole structure/ platform mounted, uploading and transporting by using crane and vehicles the same to authorised workshop and opening the transformer cover, draining out of tranformer oil and keep safely for reuse after filtration, assembling, removing of the burnt parts i.e tape, paper insulating strings etc gently and carefully, washing of the dust, rust and dirt from all parts including taking out HT/LT leg coil core tank and cooling tubes, painting the inner side tank by zinc chromate paint, spray painting outside by enemelled smoke gray colour paint and preparing the same for re-assembling after opening of core with coil and carrying out required repair and Transporting and re-installation on existing 2/4 Pole structure/ platform with neccessary fixing arrangment including connecting up electrical connections, commissioning and testing complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge and specified in particular specification of the following capacity complete (HT/LT limb case shall be measured and paid seperately)

Supply and spread and leveling Graded coarse aggregate in loose filling over the surface of stone aggregate 20mm nominal size in the installation yard complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour for replacement of unserviciable existing earthing with bore well earthing with the help of mechanical boring machine 150mm bore, 30 metre depth supply and fixing 160mm dia (OD), UPVC pipe 6 Kg/sqcm rating, 06 metre long with the help of suitable size clamp with nut bolt and washer - 01 No including charcoal dust, salt fill in bore well for earth conductivity M&L for covering of bore well with PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate / Brick masonry pit of size 45x45x45cm complete and give the minimum earth test result below 1 ohm complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note :- (i) The earth pit shall be refilled by boulders free from vegetable soil. (ii) Earthing shall be tested by contractor in presence of Engr-in-charge.Record shall be maintained.Payment shall be admissible only after satisfactory test results.

Supply & fixing in replacement of Galvanised iron tubing 50mm bore medium grade including necessary all fittings for lowering in bore well of depth upto 30 metre complete all as specified & directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L for Repir/Maintenance of drawout type / trolly mounted HT VCB/RMUs 11 KV by cleaning the VCB/RMU by using air blower, tightening of connections/ controls, checking of all fuses, spray painting outside by enemelled smoke gray colour paint/sealing of VCB/RMU at bottom, repairing of mechanical parts, oiling/greesing of all moving parts and carrying out following checks for smooth functioning complete all as specified & directed. (a) Visual Inspection. (b) Checking of functional locks, interlocks, signalling devices and auxillery devices. (c) Checking of suitability and correct operations of protections, control instruments and electrical connection of the circuit breaker operating mechnasim. (d) Checking of Tripping Mechanism Operation. (e) Spring Charging Limit Switch Operation. (f) Checking with stand voltage on the auxillary circumstances. (g) Checking of with stand voltage at power frequency. (h) Checking of Breaker ON/OFF Operation manually & electrically. (i) Testing of vacuum Bottle Integrity. (j) Relay Testing. (k) Checking of the resistance of the main circumstances. (l) Verification of wiring. Note : (i) Work shall be executed by the authorised service center of manufacturer. (ii) Spare part if found defective will be measured & paid seperately as supply & fixing in repair under respective item of this BOQ.

Note : (i) The all T&P and earth work shall be included in quoted rates and no extra cost shall be claim by the contractor. (ii) The neccessary materials any type required to repair the fault shall be measured and paid separately under relevent item of BOQ under Sch 'A'.

M&L for HT cable route indicator made out of PCC (1:2:4) type B-0 (using 12.5mm graded stone aggregate of size 1000mm (H) x 120mm (W) x 80mm (thick), painted with orange colour lettering synthetic enamel paint and embedded in PCC block (1:3:6) type C-2 (using 40mm grade stone aggregate) of size 150mm x 150mm x 200mm including necessary excavation for PCC block, placed at interval of 30 metre complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supplying and laying synthetic Rubber insulated mats 2.5mm thick for voltage upto 11 KV for electrical purpose as suitable for electrical shock safety of size 2mx1m complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for replacement of broken earth chamber cover by providing RCC Cover (1:2:4), Type B-1, using 20mm graded stone aggregate of size 550x550x40mm thick, reinforced with 8mm dia MS TMT bars @ 100mm C/C both ways with MS handle 12mm dia complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for factory made chequered cement concrete tiles, 20cm x 20cm x 25mm thick, set, jointed and pointed in neat cement slurry in floors with grey cement & pigment, over & including 15mm thick screed bed in cement & sand mortar 1:6, including dismantling existing tiles completed all as specified and directed.

M&L for painting of transformer of any capacity and size by using sand papers and applying one coat suitable primer and applying of synthetic enamel paint through spray gun by arranging compressor at site with adequate power generating set complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for painting steel tubular poles 11 metre height with two coats of synthetic enamel paint alternatively with black and yellow colour, after coping and remaining portion with aluminium paint but including brckets, clamp & cross arms (i.e single poles, 2/3/4/6 Pole structure) etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for calibration of IDMT microprocessor based nemuric relay fixed in 11 KV HT panel by primary and secondary injection method and setting the relay tripping timing in advance to match the outgoing load on the incoming and outgoing feeders complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) individual Breaker VCB/RMU shall be considered as one unit and above Job is to be carried out unit wise. Above Job will be carried out by licenced technician as approved by GE. (ii) Any accident/mishappening occurred during the execution of work shall be responsibility of Contractor. (iii) All necessary tools & plants required to carry out above job will be provided by contractor and the cost of the same deemed to be included in quoted reate.

Supply and fixing in replacement breather assembly with fresh silica gel for transformer of capacity 63 KVA to 500 KVA complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of brickwork or stone/boulder masonry, built in cement mortar or cement lime mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stonework and precast concrete articles complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for brick work with old size burnt clay sub-class ‘B’ bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6.00 metre mean radius, built in cement mortar 1:4 for platform with steps for transformer complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for rendering 15mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 on fair faces of brick masonry or concrete surfaces of walls, finished even & smooth without using extra cement including two coats of white wash complete all as specified and directed.
