5/7 meters wide (5 meters wide in straigth and 7 meters on curves) Excavation in soil in hilly area by mechanical means including cutting and trimming of side slopes and disposal of excavated earth in all height and depths in all kinds of soil, including saturated soil comprising of pick work, jumper work and blasting work both in soft and hard rock with chiseling and wedging out of rock where blasting is prohibited and their intermediate classification of soils including dewatering wherever required, setting out true to the required lines, grades, side, slopes, trimming of bottom and levels as shown on the drawing and as directed by the Engineer.-in Charge. at site according to the HP.PWD specification of 1990 volume-I and sorting out useful and un-useful material and stacking the same in all leads and lifts and transportation of the un serviceable materials for filling in roadways, embankment s for grade improvement and leveling to required grades and then disposing of all surplus excavated materials in acquired width of the road or on approved dumping site /sites through all labours machineries materials, tools, equipments and safety measures and other incidental necessary to complete the work by mechanical means and or labour if any required .All usefull materials, such as stone shingles, aggregates and slates etc. shall be sorted out and stacked along road side which shall not be less than one third blasting work(hard rock) one sixth of blasting work(soft rock) or 960.28cum. which ever is higher in all cases failing which recovery @ Rs.170/- per cubic metre shall be effected. Any loss to the Public and Private property during the course of execution and disposal of serviceable/un-serviceable materials shall be the absolute responsibility of the Contractor which shall have to be duly compensated to the full extent him in all respect and in all cases.

Excavation in soil in hilly area by mannual means in all heights and depths in all kinds of soil including saturated soil comprising of mixed soil, ordinary rock and hard rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion, damaged to hill side, water pollution etc., and to protect stability of hill side. Rock shall be excavated with chiselling & wedging out of rock (where blasting is prohibited) including cutting and trimming of side slopes and disposing of excavated earth lift upto all heights and all leads as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge, in conformity with the requirement of technical specification of rural roads clause 1603.1. All useful material such as stones, singles, aggregates and slates etc. shall be sorted out and stacked along the road side properly. Any loss to the public and private property during the course execution shall be the absolute responsiblity of the contractor which shall have to the dully compensated by him in all cases.

Earth work in excavation for structures by manual means in all depths as per drawing and Technical specifications Clause 305.1 including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious material and disposal in all leads and lifts including dressing of sides and bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated suitable material, all work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil errosion, damage to hill side, water pollution etc., and to protect stability of hill side. Rock shall be excavated with chiselling & wedging out of rock (where blasting is prohibited) as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge, all useful material such as stones, singles, aggregates and slates etc. shall be sorted out and stacked along the road side properly. Any loss to the public and private property during the course execution shall be the absolute responsiblity of the contractor which shall have to the dully compensated by him in all cases.

Providing and laying concrete for plain/reinforced concrete in open foundations complete as per drawing and technical specification clauses 802, 803, 1202 and 1203) P.C.C nominal mix 1:5:10 (40mm aggregates) including carriage of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads and lifts as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying concrete for plain/reinforced concrete in open foundations complete as per drawing and technical specification clauses 802,803,1202 and 1203 P.C.C nominal mix 1:6:12(40mm aggregate) including entire carriage of materials in all leads and lifts.

Providing and laying concrete for plain/reinforced concrete in open foundation complete as per drawing and technical specification clauses 802,803,1202 and 1203 P.C.C. nominal mix 1:4:8 (25mm aggregates) including entire carriage of materials in all leads and lifts.

Providing concrete for plain/reinforced concrete in open foundations complete as per drawings and technical specifications Clause 802,803,1202 & 1203 P.C.C grade M 10 Nominal mix 1:3:6 (Hand mixing) including entire carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying reinforced cement concrete pipe NP2 for culverts on first class bedding of granular material in single row including fixing collar with cement mortar 1:2 but excluding excavation, protection work, back filling, concrete and masonry work in head walls and parapets clause 1108, 900mm including entire carriage of materials in all leads and lifts.

Providing and laying of boulder apron laid in wire crates with 4mm dia (Four milimetre) GI wire conforming to IS:280 and IS: 4826 in 100mmx100mm mesh (woven diagonally) (hundred into hundred) including 10 per cent extra for laps and joints laid with stone boulders weighing not less than 25 kg. each as per drawing and technical specification Clause 1301 incuding carriage of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads and lifts and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing weepholes in brick masonry/stone masonry/plain reinforced concrete abutment, wing wall, return wall with 100mm dia PVC pipe extending through the full with of the structures with slop of 1 (v):20(H) towards drawing face complete as per drawing and technical specification clauses 614,709,1204.3.7 incuding carriage of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads and lifts and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Back filling behind retaining wall/breast wall incuding carriage of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads and lifts and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Preparation of sub grade by dressing to camber (Earth work for the cutting involved for sub-grade to be paid for separately depending upon the classification of soil completed as per HP.PWD specifications including carriage of materials with in all leads and lifts and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Consolidation of sub grade with power road roller 80/100 KN capacity including making good the undulation etc. with earth or quarry soil etc. and re-rolling the sub-grade completed as per HP.PWD specifications as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying hard stone soling properly hand packed filling interstices with Kharanja stone and consolidating with power road roller 80/100 KN capacity to the required gradient and camber including spreading watering and rolling of binding materials moorum or earth etc. complete as per HP.PWD specification 100 mm (one hundred milimetre spread thickness (finished work including materials and labour) including carriage of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads and lifts as and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
