Servicing and testing of Power Transformer 5 MVA/3.15 MVA, 33/11 KV installed at KLP Power House/Udasar/KM sub station by disconnecting HV & LV side, WTI, OTI, buchholz wiring and earthing complete and carrying out following tests in the presence of Engineer-in-Charge and produce test certificate complete all as specified & as directed :- (a) Earth Resistance Test. (b) BDV Test. (c) IR value of windings HV & LV side both on short circuit and open circuit position. (d) Polarisation Index value of Transformer. (e) Winding resistance test. (f) Tuning of WTI, OTI and buchholz with VCB panel and carrying out tripping. (g) Magnetic balance test. Note: (1) All material required for the repair and maintenance work considered in the contract shall be made available within 3 hours. (2) Items retreived against replacement shall be deposited to MES store and cost of same deemed to be included in quoted rates. (3) Contractor shall manage one dedicated skilled team for repair/maintenance of 33 KVA infra and provide material and menpower with in one hour after receing of complant. (4) This Job includes dismantling of transformer on site including opening of top cover & radiater assy & draining out of oil to carrying out repairs & re-filling of transformer oil. (5) All necessary T&P including empty drums for storage of oil shall be arranged by the contractor at their own cost. (6) Material used for repair work to be measured and paid for separately.

M&L for overhauling and testing of CT of ratio 400/5, 250/5, 240-140-60/5 installed at KLP power house, Udasar 33/11 KV sub station and KM area 33/11 KV sub station and following test shall be carried out in presence of Engr-in-charge and test report shall be produced by authorised firm:- (a) IR value. (b) Turn ratio. (c) Earth resistance test.

Supply and fixing in replacement HV bush assembly of 33/11 KV for 3.15/5 MVA Power Transformer complete with insulator bushing rod, check nuts, washers, packing complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply and fixing in replacement LV bush assembly of 33/11 KV for 3.15/5 MVA Power Transformer complete with insulator bushing rod, check nuts, washers, packing complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply and fixing in replacement Gasket set made of rubberised cork/neoprene material for power transformer 33/11 KV of capacity 3.15/5 MVA Power Transformer complete with insulator bushing rod, check nuts, washers, packing complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply and fixing in replacement WTI (Winding Temperature Indicator) for power transformer 33/11 KV of capacity 3.15/5 MVA including necessary wiring from WTI, Marshalling box to 33 KV VCB complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply and fixing in replacement OTI (Oil Temperature Indicator) for power transformer 33/11 KV of capacity 3.15/5 MVA including necessary wiring from OTI, Marshalling box to 33 KV VCB complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply and fixing in replacement Buchholz relay for power transformer 33/11 KV of capacity 3.15/5 MVA including necessary wiring from Marshalling box to 33 KV VCB complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply and filling new mineral grade transformer oil EHV type conforming to IS-3357 of 1993 for topping up in transformer duly filtered with filtration plant to obtain high dielectric strength not less than 40 KV (gap 2.5mm) complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. Note : Transformer oil shall be supplied in sealed barrels with test certificate. Cost of barrel shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted by the contractor and empty barrel will be the property of the Department and same shall be deposited to the AGE E/M Store Yard. Nothing extra shall be paid on this account.

Dehydration & filtration of transformer oil with portable filtration cum dehydration machine to improve the dielectric strength, not less than 50 to 60 KV within 1 minute with 4 mm Gap at site of any installation in Cantt area of any capacity/make of transformer installed on pole mounted, indoor/outdoor type plinth mounted complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. Notes: (i) All necessary T&P / testing equipment shall be provided by the contractor at his own cost. No extra payment shall be made to the contractor. (ii) Contractor shall ensure that there shall be no wastage of transformer oil. (iii) Contractor shall ensure that conservator tank is full to its level before starting the dehydration. (iv) New Transformer Oil required for topping up shall be measured and paid for separately under relevant item of this Schedule. (v) Testing of dielectric strength of dehydrated transformer oil of each transformer shall be carried out in the presence of Engineer-in-Charge and cost thereof shall be borne by the contractor.

Surface dressing not exc 15cm deep in soft/loose soil and clearing away all grass vegetation, saplings, shrubs, brushwood, undergrowth, roots, and trees not exceeding 30 cm girth (measured one metre above ground level) surrounding Transformers, LT Panels, 02 Pole structures, 04 Pole Structures, etc at various sub stations / E&M installations and removing rubbish upto a distance exc 200m & not exc 250m outside the periphery of the area under clearance complete all as specified & as directed. Note: (a) The area of buildings, road, path, hardstading and area covered with 40/20mm aggregate shall be deducted from the surface dressing area during recording the measurements in MB for payment.

Taking out the unserviceable breather assembly complete from transformer of any capacity, indoor/outdoor and supply & filling new Silica Gel blue in crystal complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Disconnecting HT 33 KV outdoor VCB unit and indoor control panel capacity upto 1600 Amp, over hauling of complete unit, opening the total mechanical and electrical mechanism of breaker, checking its contact, baffle plates and other minor parts, cleaning all complete accessories carefully. Minor repairs shall be rectified, parts/accessories shall be cleaned, the tank, baffle plates, rotating contact, upper supports, lower supports, drive assemblies and all other spare parts, reassembled after repair/ replacement of the spare parts including calibration, testing of existing IDTM relay as per load parameter complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. Notes :- (i) Repair work shall be carried out only by the authorised technician of manufacturer of VCB. (ii) Spare parts as required for replacement of existing worn out parts shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate items. (iii) Labour for replacement/fixing of the supply only items shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted against this item. (iv) Make of all spare part shall be used as per existing make of manufacturer. (v) Tunning of VCB setting shall be carried out in decending order from 220 GSS Bikaner and Mil Stn Bikaner. (vi) Calibration of VCB shall be carried out quaterily bases and payment of the same will be maid independentaly in ach qtr.

S&F GOD switch insulator, HT 33 KV, Post type insulator conforming to IS, fixed in repairs, complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

S&F 33 KV GOD Copper pipe of 20 mm bore with all necessary fittings suitable for 200/400 Amps capacity horizontal operated GOD switches, fixed in repairs, complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

S&F cross arms, bracing, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections conforming to Grade E-165 (Fe 290) including nuts, bolts, washers, welding, bending cold or hot, drilled holes for bolts, in any shape or size as directed with & including applying two coats of aluminium paint (under & finishing coats) over a coat of red oxide zinc chromate primer on exposed steel surfaces after preparation of surfaces including taking down old unserviceable complete all as specified and as directed . Note: - (i) Sizes, sections & types of members and shape of the cross arms etc shall be as required at site and all as directed. (ii) Un-exposed steel surfaces shall be given one coat of red-oxide zinc chromate primer only. Cost of the same is included in unit rate of the item and nothing extra shall be paid on this account. (iii) Weight of paint shall not be considered for payment purpose and quoted rate shall deemed to be included this aspect.

Note: Quantity of aggregate under this item shall be used as top up to achieve required thickness over existing aggregate including cleaning of existing aggregate and cost of cleaning/screening of existing aggregate shall deemed to be included in rates of new aggregate.

Tightening of existing loose stay wire of stay assembly with suitable tensibility in stay wire at various locations inside the cantt area including providing nuts and repair to other wire, un-winded stay wire etc, complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

S&F Danger notice plate of 25x20cm size, 1.6mm thick mild steel sheet, vitreous enameled white, with letters, figures and conventional skull and bones in signal red colour for HT 33000 Volts and fixed with suitable MS clamps made out of flat iron 25x3mm, bolts and nuts of approved size, fixed in repairs, complete all as specified & as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Re-straining/re-stringing/tightening of existing HT 33 KV over head Aluminium Conductor Steel Reinforced (ACSR) and GI earth wire of any size/type upto permissible sag in between existing span carefully without damaging other components such as insulators etc of HT distribution system with & including repair to broken conductor where required and replacement of binding wire with new 2mm dia aluminium binding wire complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- Unit for measurement and payment for this item “Each span” is comprising of 3 Nos ACSR conductors and one GI earth wire between two adjacent poles in line.

Cutting/trimming/pruning of tree branches around the HT 33 KV overhead line 3 metre clearance alround from the external conductors and removing the same from site and depositing at places within the Cantt area complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. Note : Unit for measurement and payment for this item is “Each span” irrespective of number of conductors in over head line cleared under this item.

Supply, installation and testing of advance maintenance free environment friendly CPRI approved earthing 10 feet long, 50mm dia earth electrode made of copper with terminal to connect incoming copper strip 20x3mm with equipment/test point including two bags (25Kg each) of environment friendly back fill compound with ROHS test certificate. The remaning space shall be filled with soil and top of each pit cover with 300x300x214mm as to achieve the desired ohmic value complete (less than 1.0 ohm) complete all as specified & as directed. Note: (a) Contractor has to provide the earth test report. (b) The rates includes the cost of excavation in any type of soil. (c) Copper strip of size 20x3mm upto 7.5mtr is deemed to be included in the quoted rates.

M&L for cable jointing kit for 33 KV (Earthed) grade cable for outdoor termination heat shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 240 sqmm, including dismantling & taking out old unserviceable jointing kit, complete all as specified & as directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L for cable jointing kit for 33 KV (Earthed) grade cable for straight through heat shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 240 sqmm including dismantling & taking out old unserviceable jointing kit complete all as specified & as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply, laying, jointing and testing HT XLPE (cross linked polyethylene) insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured electric power cable (heavy duty) with aluminium stranded conductor 33000 Volt (Earthed) grade of cross sectional area 240 Sqmm, 3 Core (ISI marked) laid in trenches/ducts, through pipe, under floors or roads/ along poles etc, including dismantling & taking out old unserviceable HT cable, complete all as specified & as directed. Notes :- (i) Sand cushioning, cable protection, GI protection pipe, jointing kits and excavation & earth work shall be measured & paid for separately. (ii) Road cutting/floor cutting /cutting holes etc in walls required for laying/fixing of cable etc shall be made good as per existing. Nothing extra shall be admissible on this account. Quoted rates shall be inclusive of the above provisions.

Excavating in trenches, not exc 1.5 metre wide and not exc 1.5 metre in depth, for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. laying cables, pipes, etc. not exc 10 Sqm on plan & not exc 1.5m in depth and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm thick in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated soil/material to a distance not exc 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.50 metre above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for dry sand (Local Tibba sand) and punning for cushioning and cover for protection of under ground electric cable complete all as specified and as directed. Notes : (i) Approved local Tibba dry sand free from vegetations, grass and other deleterious substances shall be used. (ii) For the purpose of payment, only punned thickness shall be measured.

Supplying and laying factory made, reinforced precast concrete cable cover, ISI marked, Class HVP, Type 1 with peak, size 450mm x 230mm x 50mm, laid as cable protection cover in trenches, complete all as specified & as directed. Note: Old cable covers shall be taken on charge.
