REPAIR TO CERTAIN ROADS/PATH OF DOMESTIC AREA AND SILVER ARROW COMPLEX AT AF STN SIRSA UNDER GE (AF) SIRSA

Material & Labour for Repairs to Potholes any depth, not exceeding 1.00 Sqm each, including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scouring sunken surfaces in roads, path etc, cutting around edges at least 25 mm thick in depth, making good by applying tack coat with bituminous primer (using paving bitumen grade VG 10) @ 5Kg per 10 Sqm, putting in bituminous premix, 25 mm consolidated thickness with 0.34 Cum of stone chippings mixed with 18.25 Kg of paving bituminous binder (VG-30) per 10 Sqm; well rammed, depth of potholes not exc 30mm, rolled with power road roller of 8 to 12 tonne capacity complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in Charge. Note :- (i) Pot holes shall be marked by Engineer-in-charge before commencement of work and same shall be entered in MB after making good and before laying of bituminous premix carpet.

Material and labour for providing Premixed sand seal coat with 0.06 cum of coarse sand mixed with 6.8 Kg of bitumen (Paving Bitumen grade VG-30), applied and rammed/rolled to a uniform smooth surface complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Material and labour for Preparing surface by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. Sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt and applying evenly a priming/tack coat of bitumen grade (VG-10) on existing bituminious surfaces at the rate 5 Kg per 10 Sqm complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge. Note:- This item shall be executed only before laying of premix bituminous macadam. Cost of paving bitumen shall deem to be included in the quoted rate.

Material and labour for for Premix bituminous, macadam laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) using Paving bitumen (VG-30), binder content @ 4.0% by weight of total mix & use power roller weight exc 8 tonne & but not exc 12 tonne for rolling and consolidating formation surfaces in cutting (Including Preparation of surface and priming/tack coat of VG-10 at 10 kg per 10 sqm ). Notes : (i) Hot mix plant of adequate capacity shall be used for heating and mixing of aggregates and binder and shall be laid in single layer with Mechanical Sensor Paver all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. . (ii) The design mix shall be carried out from zonal lab/CTL/any E-in-C/MES approved lab/Govt Engg College as approved by GE before incorporation in work

Material and labour for preparing existing balck top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with compressed air to remove all loose dirt with and including applying evenly a tack coat using paving bitumen VG-10 @ 5 Kg/10Sqm on existing black top surfaces and providing bitumen premix asphaltic semi dense concrete (Design mix) 30 mm thick consolidated thickness with min 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in Charge. Note:- (i) The design mix shall be carried out from Zonal laboratory/ Govt Engineering Colleges/ CTL or any E-in-C/ MES approved lab as approved by GE before incorporation in work and testing charges shall also born by the contractor. (ii) Cost of filler is deemed to be included in the quoted unit rate. (iii) No extra payment shall be admissible in case of excess binder content above 5.5% as specified in description of item.

Material and labour for preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5mm thick centre line, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc and the like on roads pavements with hot applied thermoplastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine including cleaning and drying the surface all as per manufacturer's instructions complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in Charge.

Supply and fixing in repairs cat eye aluminium alloy shall (100% water proofing design according to 65) of size 125x125x25mm (shank 65mm) of high efficiency mono rystafie solar panel 2.4V/0.3 watt one NI-ed rechargeable battery (1.2V/1600 MA) consisting of super bright LED with 10000 to 18000 mcd completed as per manufacturers instructions etc. complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in Charge.

Supply and fixing in repairs cat eye solar reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100mm x 100mm x 20mm with PAMA striplens reflector of model No DA 972.0 fixed with and including MS stud of suitable size as per manufactures instructions including taking down old u/s cat eyes complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in charge.

Supply and fixing in repairs metal tubular delineator made out of ABS round body fitted with 2 Nos 65 mm dia highly reflective reflectors made out of PMMA and mounted on 45/50 mm dia mild steel pipe of 600 mm height duly powder coated and thermo plastic elastomer 3 bands of green, red and yellow reflector radium tape of 25 mm wide strips with anti theft steel net for reflector protection including embedding in PCC 1:2:4 (150x150x300mm) type B1 complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply and Fixing in repair retroreflective regulatory sign board of size 900 mm diameter made out of 2 mm thick aluminium sheet, face to be fully covered with high intensity encapsulated lens type retro -reflective sheeting as approved by Engineer-in-charge . Letter, symbols, borders etc. will be as per IRC - 67 with required colour scheme on the boards and with the high intensity grade A. The aluminium sheet to be riveted to M.S. frame of angle iron of size 40x40x4 m. The boards will be fixed to 1 No. 50x50 mm square post made of M.S. angle 50x50x4 mm, 4 m long welded to the frame with adequate anti-theft arrangement .Sheet work to be painted with two or more coats of synthetic enamel paint over an under coat (primer) and back side of aluminium sheet to be painted with two or more coats of epoxy paint including appropriate priming coat complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.
