Amount

Excavating in trenches, not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5m in depth for foundation, laying of pipe line etc, and getting out in soft/ loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick in hard/ dense soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated surplus hard/ dense soil to a distance not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Construction of PCC solid Masonry valve chamber of size 1000 X 1000 X 1000 mm (Internal dimensions) with PCC foundation 1:4:8 type D2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate 150 mm thick and 150 mm wide off sets alround over 100 mm thick hard core , 200 mm thick PCC solid block walls built in CM 1:6, 50 mm thick PCC 1:2:4 Type B1 coping finished even and smooth, rendering 10 mm thick in cement mortar (1:6) finished even and smooth, without using extra cement internally including top of floor including necessary earth work excavation in hard/Dense soil, 3 mm thick MS sheet cover fixed on 25 mm X 25 mm X 6 mm thick angle iron frame work with hold fasts embedded in PCC coping with locking arrangement, mild steel handle and painting to steel surfaces with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of primer ,disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 m etc complete all as specified and directed.

Taking up defective cast iron water mains (including all fittings) with spigot and socket ends and lead joints including burning out joints and recovering lead or flange ends etc of overhead/underground reservoir complete of size 150 mm dia pipes all as directed.

Supply and fix 100 mm dia bore ductile iron pressure pipes, class K7, centrifugally cast with socket spigot ends as per following conforming to IS 8329/2000 with cement mortar lining inside the pipes with outside zinc coating suitable for push-on-joint (rubber gasket jointing) in any length including all jointing materials like tyton joints, gaskets etc required at site complete and making good for disturbed surfaces of roads, path ways etc while laying the pipe line at site, site clearance for route of pipe line, welding, cutting the existing CI/DI/MS pipe line of any size up to 200 mm dia for inserting branch connections etc all as specified and directed. Note: (i) Lead Joints / D-Joints will be measured and paid separately. (ii) Contractor is responsible for repair/replacement of any damages to the existing structures etc during the course of execution.

Material and labour for fittings for spigot and socket pipes such as Bends (any type, radius and angle), Tapers any type (straight, bend, increasing , decreasing or double socket etc), Tee pieces angle branch, cross (all sockets or socket & spigot collars, caps and plugs for joining up to 150 mm bore CI pipe complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for dismantling of defective sluice valve of 80mm dia for repairs, including repairs such as repacking stuffing box of sluice valve spindle, refacing, grinding, stuffing and threading of spindle, replacement of worn out check nut, repairs to gate assembly etc, replacement of jointing materials such as rubber sheets, nuts, bolts & washers, gland rope etc and refixing in its original position, testing etc and refixing in its original position, testing etc complete all as specified and directed.
