SCHEDULE 'A' B/R Works

Demolition of floor hearth or wall tilling including cement mortar bedding but not backing including removing rubbish material from building and thrown in low lying empty area (as per direcction of AGE/JE) at any distance upto 500 metres from the site complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Taking down wooden shutters only of any description area exceeding 1.0 sqm and not exceeding 2.0 sqm each and refixing in same opening after necessary easing, adjustments, minor repairs etc all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Resecuring, easing and adjustments of shutters (any description and any size of shutter upto 2 Sqm each) without taking down from chowkhat/frame including oiling, tigtening of screws, minor repairs, adjustment of hinges, adjustment of fittings like handle/tower bolt/door stopper etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in- charge. Note :- Screws if required for adjustment of fittings the cost of screws shall be included in the unit rate.

Dismantling floor, hearth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding (but not backing) removing serviceable tiles to store and rubbish off the premises and material and labour for non skid ceramic coloured tiles 7 to 8mm thick, repair area not exceed 0.5 Sqm in floors set and jointed in neat cement slurry over & including 15mm thick screed bed of mortar 1:6 and pointed with white/coloured cement to match, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for Glazed ceramic coloured tiles of size 350mmx 250mm / 450mmX 350mm// 450mmX 300mm, 7mm to 8mm thick, as in vertical surface set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match the shade of tile including necessary cutting as per site requirement, tiles laid over and including 10 mm thick (Av thickness) bedding layer (rendering) in cement mortar (1:4) complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Dismantling of bricks, PCC tiles, interlocking tiles laid flat of any description or thickness in floors, aprons etc. laid dry or laid dry and pointed in any mortar including removing rubbish material from the site including taking out existing fine sand cleaning the surface complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour 18-20mm thick machine cut, granite duly factory grinding and polished (table rubbed and polished) of approved colour for counter sunk wash basin, plateform/cooking plateform or as directed, including screed bed 15mm thick in cement mortar (1:4) (grey cement slurry) including pointing in white cement (1:2) using marble dust with admiture of pigment to match with shade of granite stone slab including cutting as required including cleaning and extra polishing if required complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for moulding the edges half round on exposed side (Rounding to edges of stone slabs one edge) of granite/marble as in kitchen shelf, cooking platform, WHB counter shelf, steps, and other similar situations etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply & fixing 20 cm x 20 cm x 25 mm/ 30cm x 30cm x 25mm thick chequered cement concrete tiles as in floor/path, set, jointed and pointed in neat cement slurry with grey cement and no pigment, tiles laid over and including 15 mm thick bedding layer (screed) in cement mortar (1:6) complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing 60 mm thick (M35 grade) precast interlocking tile/paving block factory casted (made by using PVC paver mould / Rubber paver moulds on Vibrating Table Machine) using grey cement and no pigment, shape haxagon / trigular / zigzag / I-shaped etc, as directed, prepolished & preglazed, specification as per relevant IS, having compressive strength not less than 350 Kg/ Sqcm, laid over sand upto required thick layer and filling the interstices etc complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note : - (i) Sand for filling shall be measured & paid separately as Supply only but labour for spreding leveling shall be included in the unit rate of this item)

Supply only fine sand without silt (Fazilka/Zera or any other approved sources) for filling under interlocking tiles and the interstices etc complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for 75mm thick cement concrete ( 1:4:8), type D-2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in sub base complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for PCC (1:3:6), type C-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation filling, bed block, for embedded fencing posts,coping/kerb stone, packing around interlocking paver blocks, chequered tiles, hold fast blocks & similar work etc including necessary form work complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Taking down cement or cement lime plaster from brick wall etc including racking out joints, hacking for key & scrubbing down with water etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for plastering 15mm thick on internal surface at any story or any height in cement mortar (1:6) on any face of Brick walls or concrete surfaces, finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for rendering/plastering 10mm thick in cement mortar (1:3) on any face of ceiling, finished fair and even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for rendering/plastering 15mm thick on external surface at any story or any height in cement mortar (1:4) on any face of Brick walls or concrete surfaces, finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for preparing newly plastered or concrete surface of ceiling by sand papering or by any other mean and after preparing the surfaces applying three coats of white wash complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in- charge

Material and labour for preparation of new plastered surfaces of walls/pillars /cornices by brooming down with using broom/sand papering or by any other means, and preparing the surfaces smooth by applying white cement based putty to make the surface even and smooth by using sander machine (with provision of dust sucking) upto entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge, and after preparing the surfaces applying two coats of oil emulsion distemper (washable), as approved tint/colour by using paint roller brush complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for preparation of new plastered surfaces of walls/pillars /cornices by brooming down with using broom/sand papering or by any other mean, washing down with water and applying two coats of cement base paint as per approved tint/colour by using paint brush complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Demolition of brick work or stone / boulder masonry, built in cement mortar or cement lime mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc, in any description including cleaning and stacking serviceable brick for re use and balance removing rubbish from the site complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for brick work with sub class ‘B’ old size burnt clay bricks, straight or curved on plan exc. 6 metre mean radius built in cement mortar (1:6) complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply & fixing in replacement 110mm bore PVC (SWR) pipes single socketed in any length with rubber ring joints for drain or rain water fixed along walls with stack clamps made out of FI 50x5mm and 16mm dia round iron stay (interval of 1m) including nut bolt and PCC work, including dismantling/taking down old pipe complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Supply & fixing PVC (SWR) bends (any radius) suitable for 110mm bore pipe fixed to walls or laid in floor complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Supply & fixing rotational moulded polyethylene water storage tank white colour of capacity 500 litres (cylindrical vertical, triple layered with closed top), hoisted and fixed in position including making inlet and out let connection, including dismantling/taking down of existing unserviceable PVC water storage tanks of any description complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. (Note :- Float valve and gate valve shall be measured & paid separately under appropriate item of BOQ.)

Taking up or down existing galvanised steel water/KITEC tubing (GI pipe) 15mm bore including fitting/connection from wall/ceiling/floor/concealed etc. complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixing galvanized steel tubing (GI pipe) medium grade 25mm bore ISI marked with all new fittings like elbow, tee, union, socket, reducer etc. and fixed complete to walls, ceiling and laid in floor or concealed in walls including cutting chases in wall (as required) and making good disturbed surfaces of walls including cutting and threading of pipe complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Supply & fixing in replacement stainless steel sink made out of 1.00mm thick sheet, kitchen or laboratory with plugs, washers, waste pipe including bedding in cement mortar to dwarf wall or fixing with cast iron cantilever brackets and connecting union to waste pipe; overall size 495mm x 420mm with bowl size 410mm x 330mm x 160mm complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply & fixing in replacement stainless steel sink with drainage board made out of 1.00mm thick sheet , kitchen or laboratory with plugs, washers, waste pipe including bedding in cement mortar to dwarf wall or fixing cast iron cantilever brackets and connecting union to waste pipe; overall size 915mm x 460mm with bowl size 410mm x 330mm x 160mm including taking down existing chinaware sink complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply & fixing in replacement kitchen plate rack made of stainless steel not less than 1mm thick with fixing accessories, overall minimum size 600mm x 750mm, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply & fixing in replacement flush kit of any type accessories with inlet ball valve float and handle, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply & fixing in replacement waste pipe and waste coupling of any size and any type for sink/WHB, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply & fixing in replacement ball valves, high pressure of PTMT with epoxy coated aluminium rod and high density plastic ball (polythene float) complete, screwed suitable for 20mm bore iron pipe complete all specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note :- The minimum weight of ball valve shall be as given in SSR or in relevant IS.

Material & Labour for 100 mm dia cast iron floor trap with CP grating including jointing to waste pipe with solvent fixed in cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate including taking out old complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material & Labour for 75mm dia cast iron floor trap with CP grating including jointing to waste pipe with solvent fixed in cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate including taking out old complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing in repair of any type of aluminium window shutters/door shutters, including necessary jointing cleats, glazing clips, rubber neoprene packing, handles, hinges, tower bolts, anodised aluminium snap beading screws etc., complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing in replacement stop valve/angle valve cast copper alloy, with crutch or butterfly handle, screwed down, screwed both end for iron pipe or for brass ferrule 15mm bore complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note :- The minimum weight shall be as given in SSR or in relevant IS.

Hacking out old broken glass (any thickness, size, quality or description) from metal frame including punching or drilling out old glazing pins/spring clips, complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Supply and fixing 5.5 mm thick sheet glass ordinary quality & glazing with rubber beading in square/rectangle shape fixed in aluminium window not exceeding 0.5sqm in each pane complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Providing and injecting chemical emulsion ( anti termite treatment) for Post Constructional Antitermite Treatment along external wall where the apron is not provided using chemical emulsion at the rate of 7.5 litres per sq.m of the vertical surface of the sub-structure to a depth of 300mm including excavating channel along the wall and rodding etc. to match the existing wall including cement base paint/ weather coat / colour washing / distempering matching with the existing wall, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and injecting chemical emulsion ( anti termite treatment) for Post Constructional Antitermite Treatment Along the external wall below concrete or masonry apron using chemical emulsion @ 2.25 litres per linear metre including drilling and plugging holes etc., complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Treatment of soil under existing floors using emulsion ( anti termite treatment) @ one litre per hole, 300mm apart including drilling and plugging 12mm dia holes with cement mortar 1:2 (1 cement: 2 coarse sand) to match the existing floors, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Treatment of voids in wall / masonry using chemical emulsion ( anti termite treatment) one litre per hole, at 300mm intervals including drilling holes at 45 degree and replugging them with cement mortar 1:2 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand) to match the existing floors, including colour washing/ distempering / cement base paint matching with the existing wall, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Treatment at points of contact of wood work by chemical emulsion ( anti termite treatment) (in oil or kerosene based solution) @ 0.5 litre/hole by drilling 6mm dia holes at a downward angle of 45 degree at 150mm centre to centre and sealing the same, including painting / polishing matching with the existing, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for spraying of chemical emulsion ( anti termite treatment) on wooden surface, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
