Construction of Embankment CBR 8% (for new road) with approved material obtained from borrow pits, including compensation of earth, with all lifts and leads, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacting to meet requirement of table 300-2, as per technical clause 305 of MORT&H specifications. At no place top of sub grade of road shall not be less than 0.90 m above adjoining NSL. NSL for a block of 100m will be worked as mean of 6 levels taken on 20 m center to center length of road. These six levels are at three location on both side one at edge ROW. Other at 5 m and 10 m away from ROW. (HSR 17.6) Note: In case the quantity of earth work calculated with NSL and finished level found to be less than 22406.70 cum. Then actual quantity (less than 22406.70 cum) will be paid. In case quantity worked out is more than 22406.70 cum, then only 22406.70 cum will be paid. Excess quantity shall be incidental to work and nothing extra will be paid. Further it shall be ensured that atleast 500 mm of sub grade with earth of CBR 8% shall be constructed at each location. Wherever any cutting of existing subgrade is required on this account excavation as well as handling and disposal of earthwork to accommodate minimum 500mm thick subgrade of minimum 8% CBR shall be carried out by the agency at his own cost. Nothing extra will be paid on this account. Before start of work, L-section shall be got approved from the employer with respect to GTS. However, typical X-section attached at section 5 of DNIT. Note:-No earth work will be allowed to be taken from PWD B&R/ ROW except for surplus earth after approval from Engineer.

Providing & laying 150 mm Granular Sub-Base with Coarse Graded Material - Grading-I (Table:- 400-2) Construction of granular sub-base by providing coarse graded material, spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method with Rotavator at OMC, and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per clause 401.of MORT&H specifications. Grading I material (Based on HSR 17.15.1) Note: - 1.Only crushed metal material should be used. No local earth sand shall be used. The material finer than 425 micron shall have zero Plasticity Index (PI). 2. Materials to be used and operations of manufacturing shall be approved by the engineer.

Brick on end in soil/edging in required pattern with bricks of class designation (HSR 10.36)

Providing, laying WBM (G-I) (63 mm to 45 mm with screening Type “A” 75 mm each layer) , spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with 3 wheeled steel/ vibratory roller 8-10 tonnes in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming requisite type of screening/ binding Materials to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density complete as per technical clause 404 of MORT&H specifications (Based on HSR 17.23.2) Note: - 1.Only crushed metal material should be used. No local earth sand shall be used. The material finer than 425 micron shall have zero Plasticity Index (PI). 2. Materials to be used and operations of manufacturing shall be approved by the engineer.

Providing, laying WBM (G-II) (53 mm to 22.4 mm with screening Type “B” 75 mm each layer) , spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with 3 wheeled steel/ vibratory roller 8-10 tonnes in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming requisite type of screening/ binding Materials to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density complete as per technical clause 404 of MORT&H specifications (Based on HSR 17.23.2) Note: - 1.Only crushed metal material should be used. No local earth sand shall be used. The material finer than 425 micron shall have zero Plasticity Index (PI). 2. Providing and laying surface dressing as wearing course in single coat using crushed stone aggregates of specified size on a layer of bituminous binder VG - 10 laid on prepared surface and rolling with 8-10 tonne smooth wheeled steel roller complete as per technical clause 509 of MORT&H specifications:19 mm nominal chipping size, with bitumen (Based on HSR 17.32.1).

Providing and applying tack coat with penetration grade bitumen VG - 10 using bitumen pressure distributor at the rate of 0.30 kg per sqm on the prepared bituminous / granular surface cleaned with mechanical broom as per technical clause 503 of MORT&H specifications (Based on HSR 17.26.2)

Providing, laying and rolling of open - graded premix surfacing of 20 mm thickness composed of crushed stone aggregates of specified grading premixed in a continuous type of hot mix plant of appropriate capacity not less not less than 75 tonne per hour, with bituminous binder VG - 10 @ 1.46 kg per sqm, laid with Paver Finisher Mechanical and rolling with a smooth wheeled roller 8-10 tonne capacity, finished to required level and grades complete as per technical clause 510 of MORT&H specifications. (HSR 17.33.1)

Providing and laying of premix sand seal coat premixed in continuous type HMP of appropriate capacity not less than 75 tonnes/ hours using specified fine aggregates and penetration grade bitumen @0.68 kg/sqm laid to specified levels, grade and cross fall complete as per technical clause 511 of MORT&H specifications. (HSR 17.36.3)

Reinforced cement concrete M25 grade kilometre stone of standard design as per IRC:8- 1980, fixing in position including painting and printing etc complete as per technical clause 804 of MORTH Specifications Kilometre Stone for Village Roads (HSR 34.27.3)

Reinforced cement concrete M15 grade boundary pillar of standard design as per IRC:25-1967, fixed in position including finishing and lettering but excluding painting (HSR 34.28).

Providing and laying of hot applied thermoplastic compound 2.5 mm thick including Reflectorising glass beads @ 250 gms per sqm area, thickness of 2.5 mm is exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC:35 .The finished surface to be level, uniform and free from streaks and holes. (HSR 34.26) Note:- 1. A sealing primer may be applied in advance on cement concrete pavement to ensure proper bonding. Any laitance and/or curing compound to be removed where paint is required to be applied on concrete surface. Note:- Before start of work the contractor shall give brand , batch no. , manufacturing date of the material to be used and get approved the same from Engineer-In-Charge before use.

Reinforced cement concrete M-25 grade village board size 1.85x0.90 x0.075 m of standard design, fixing in position including painting and printing etc. complete as per PWD specifications, minimum reinforcement 16 kg, Embedded in Ground up to 55 cm, in M-15 Concrete foundation 600x700x145 mm, as per Haryana PWD specification [HSR 34.27.5]

Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means in foundation trenches or drains (not exceeding 1.5 m in width or 10 sqm on plan), including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift up to 1.5 m, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed, within any lead - All kinds of soil (HSR 4.14.1)

Cement Concrete 1:8:16 with stone aggregate 40 mm size in foundation and plinth. (HSR 10.100.2)

Brick work with common burnt clay non-modular bricks of class designation 10.5 in foundation and plinth in: Cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand) (HSR 7.21.1)

12 mm cement plaster of mix : 1:4 (1 cement: 4 fine sand) (HSR 11.5.3)

Providing and Laying 600 mm dia Reinforced cement concrete pipe NP3 prestressed concrete pipe for culverts on first class bedding of granular material in single row including fixing collar with cement mortar 1:2 but excluding excavation, protection works, backfilling, concrete and masonry works in head walls and parapets 600 mm dia, as per clause 2900 of MORT&H specifications (HSR 17.61.1) Note:- Contractor shall supply bill of manufacture of pipes. Pipes should bear name of manufacturer and ISI mark along with bill duly valid ISI certificate of manufacturer should be supply. Without these bills certificate no payment shall be released.

Providing and laying cement concrete in retaining walls, return walls, walls (any thickness) including attached pilasters, columns, piers, abutments, pillars, posts, struts, buttresses, string or lacing courses, parapets, coping, bed blocks, anchor blocks, plain window sills, fillets, sunken floor etc., up to floor four level, excluding the cost of centering, shuttering and finishing: 1 :3:6 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand (zone-Ill) : 6 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) (HSR 6.2.3)

Reinforced cement concrete work in beams, suspended floors, roofs having slope up to 15° landings, balconies, shelves, chajjas, lintels, bands, plain window sills, staircases and spiral stair cases above plinth level up to floor four level, excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement with 1:1.5:3 (1 cement : 1.5 coarse sand(zone-III) : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size). (HSR 6.16)

Steel reinforcement for R.C.C. work, where not included in the complete rate of RCC, including straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position, binding, wastage, overlaps, welded joints, spacer bars, chairs, stays, hangers and annealed steel wire etc. complete in all respect above plinth level. Note:- Reinforcement shall be measured in length including hooks, if any, separately for different diameters as actually used in work , excluding overlaps. Wastage, overlaps, couplings, welded joints, spacer bars, chairs, stays, hangers and annealed steel wire or other methods of binding & placing shall not be measured and cost of these items shall be deemed to be included in the rates for reinforcement. Thermo-Mechanically Treated bars of Grade Fe-500 D (HSR 6.33.6)

Painting Two Coats on New Concrete Surfaces- Painting two coats after filling the surface with synthetic enamel paint in all shades on new plastered concrete surfaces (HSR 34.49)

Providing weep holes in Brick masonry/Plain/ Reinforced concrete abutment, wing wall/ return wall with 100 mm dia AC pipe, extending through the full width of the structure with slope of 1V :20H towards drawing force. Complete as per drawing and MoRT&H Specifications(HSR 27.15)

Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form work for : Foundations, footings, bases for columns. (HSR 6.29.1)

Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form work for :Retaining walls, return walls, walls (any thickness) including attached pilasters, buttresses, plinth and string courses fillets, kerbs and steps etc. (HSR 6.29.2) Note:- Basic rates mentioned in BOQ are inclusive of all taxes (i/c GST), duties, cess, royalties etc. In case of any difference in the unit & nomenclature of any of the HSR Items depicted in this DNIT and that given in HSR, the unit and nomenclature given in HSR shall be applicable.
