REPAIR TO WATER PROOFING TREATMENT, CHAJJAS AND RAIN WATER PIPES ETC IN DRC AND UNIT AREA UNDER AGE (I) AYODHYA

M&L for taking down existing roof treatment from roof and terrace surfaces, roughening old concrete surfaces by picking, sweeping clean and washing down with water to remove dust etc and providing water proofing treatment in the following steps and specifications:- (a) Applying crack seal compound of same manufacture of water proof to fill all cracks observed on the roof surfaces. (b) Applying cement slurry over concrete surfaces @ 3.00 Kg/Sqm. (c) Rendering 15mm thick in cement mortar (1:4) mixed with & including water proofing compound as per manufactures’ instructions (not less than 3% by weight of cement) on cleaned concrete surfaces of roof and finishing the surfaces fair and even including curing the plastered surfaces for 7 days by ponding of water over the roof, (leveling course). (d) Applying evenly one coat of primer coating (diluted with water in the ratio as specified by Manufacturer) (min @100-110 Sqft per liter (diluted quantity)) on the cleaned plastered surfaces. The surface shall be left for air dry for minimum period of 2-3 Hrs. (e) Applying evenly one coat of elastomeric water proof coat in one direction (as specified by Manufacturers)(min @ 0.9-1.0 Sqm per ltr) and allow to air dry for 4-6 hrs before applying second coat in other direction perpendicular to the first one (as specified by Manufacturer) (min @0.9-1.0 Sqm per ltr). The total thickness of two coats shall be 0.5 to 0.6 mm.

(f) The whole system shall be left for air cure for min Seven days (without any movement). Make : - Dr Fixit Newcoat Ezee or Berger Home Shield PU RoofKoat or Asian Paints Smartcare Damp Proof or equivalent as approved by AGE(I). Note : - (i) The water proofing shall be carried out in the last stage of execution to avoid any damages during the execution. (ii) Payment against this item shall not be allowed till completion of all the stages of work for any slab. (iii) The work shall be executed through well-trained applicators as per manufacturer’s instructions after obtaining written approval of AGE(I).

M&L for repairs to broken edges of roof projection, chajja, facia, fins and simillar works, girth n.exc 45 CM including cutting reinforcement as required, removing all loose/ peeled off materials and making good with PCC (1:2:4) type B0 (using 12.5mm graded stone aggregate), if requred or otherwise dubbing out in CM (1:3) (average thicknes 10mm) and providing 15mm thick plastering in cement mortar (1:4), finished even & smooth to match the existing surfaces up to four storied buildings complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Hacking out old broken glass (any thickness, size, quality or description) from metal frames including punching or drilling out old glazing pins/ spring clips and S&F 3.0 mm thick sheet glass ordinary quality and glazing with oil putty / wooden beads in square n exc 0.5 Sqm each pane up to three storey height complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge

Taking down cement plaster on brick or concrete surfaces including racking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc and M&L for rendering 15 mm thick in CM (1:6) on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces, finishing even and smooth without using extra cement in patches as in roof top parapet, ceiling of facia and wall complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L for preparing newly plastered surfaces of walls and applying two coats of oil bound distemper on walls after applying 1mm thick wall care putty to obtain smooth surfaces, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Taking down cement plaster on brick or concrete surfaces including racking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc and M&L for rendering 15 mm thick in CM (1:4) on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces, finishing even and smooth without using extra cement in patches as in roof top parapet, ceiling of facia and wall complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L for preparation of newly plastered surfaces of walls and applying two coats of cement based paint on prepared surface complete all as specified and directed by Engr in charge.

M&L for preparation of newly plastered surfaces and applying two coats of weather coat over a coat of exterior grade primer complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of old painted surfaces of wood and wood based surafces of any description, not otherwise described over 10 cm width or girth and applying a coat of synthetic enemal paint all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S&F in repairs, galvanished mild steel wire cloth 0.56mm nominal dia and 1.18 mm average width of aperture all as specified and directed.

Taking down chowkhats or frame with shutters (without taking off shutters from the frame) but area n.exc. 1.5 Sqm each and removing from site all as specified and directed by Eng-in-Charge.

S&F factory made single extruded WPC (Wood Polymer Composite) solid door/ window/ Ceosetory windows & other Frames/Chowkhat of size 50 x 100 mm comprising of virgin PVC polymer of K value 58-60 (Suspension Grade), calcium carbonate and natural fibers (wood powder/ rice husk/wheat husk) and non toxic additives (maximum toxicity index of 12 for 100 gms) fabricated with mitred joints after applying PVC solvent cement and screwed with full body threaded star headed SS screws all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S&F factory made single extruded WPC (Wood Polymer Composite) solid plain flush door shutter of 30mm size comprising of virgin polymer of K value 58-60 (Suspension Grade), calcium carbonate and natural fibers (wood powder/ rice husk/wheat husk) and non toxic additives (maximum toxicity index of 12 for 100 gms) as per specification and drawing complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F 100 mm long medium weight, cold rolled mild steel butt hinges all as specified and directed.

S&F 150 mm long aluminium, anodised, barrel tower bolts of extruded section all as specified and directed.

S&F 150 mm aluminum anodised bow handles all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting existing water storage tank of capacity exc 500 but n.exc 1000 ltrs, setting aside (or lowering if required) for repairs, etc and hoisting if required reconnecting and refixing in position complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling water water storage tanks exc 250 ltrs but n.exc 500 ltrs capacity and removing to store, complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F 500 ltrs capacity rotational moulded polythine water storage tank (ISI marked) (cylinderical, vertical with closed top) hoisted and fixed in position all as specified in SSR Part-I complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for preparation of newly plastered or previously untreated surfaces of walls and applying two coats of oil bound distemper on walls over a coat of 1mm thick wall care putty, complete all as specified and directed. Note : Approval of Engr-in-Charge shall be obtained by contractor before applying finishing work.

M&L for 15 mm thick rendering in cement mortar (1:4) mixed with and including integral water proofing compound @ 3% of cement weight on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces, finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for preparing newly plastered surfaces of walls and applying two coats of Acrylic smooth exterior paint of required shade : net wok (Two or More coat applied @ 1.67ltr/10 Sqm and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 2.20Kg/10Sqm omplete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.
