Total amount of Provisional lumpsum for `Provision of rain water harvesting comprising of PVC rain water pipes, suitable capacity of PVC water storage tank, soak pits, drains made of PCC block masonry etc all as directed by Engineer in charge' as mentioned on page 38. NOTE: The items shall be measured and paid at the rates given in SSR Part II 2010, subject to percentage arrived based on the lump sum amount quoted by the contractor.

Supply & Fix Low density polyethylene pipes (LDPE) 15mm bore of pipe of pressure rating 2.5 kgf/cm2 45cm long with brass union suitable for 15mm bore of pipe one for each side of polyethylene pipe and iron pipe for making flexible connections to WHB or flushing cistern etc all as shown on drawings.

M&L for construction of brick masonry pit of internal size 0.6 m x0.6 m x0.6m(bottom PCC floor of the pit should be minimum 15 cms below the bottom surface of valve flange to provide sufficient working space),bottom floor of the pit be constructed in PCC (1:3:6) type C2 (using 40mm graded stone sggregates)15 cms thick, inner and exposed surfaces and bottom floor of the pit should be plastered 15 mm thick in cement mortar (1:4). The valve and other fittings should be housed in center of the pit. the vertices of the pit should in right angle and champhered .The top cover of the pit will be made out of MS sheet minimum 2mm thick witth angle iron frame made out of MS angle 50mm x50 mmx 6 mm with galvanised steel hindges two nos ,and locking arrangements duly painted with two coats of water resistant synthetic enamel paint over one coat of red oxide primer all as specified and directed.

M&L for ferrule 20 dia and making hole and tapping on existing 80 mm dia pipe line for inserting ferrule of 25 mm dia size and fixing with necessary clampe etc complete all as specified and as directed.

NOTE- Two runs of 6.0 sq.mm, one run of 6.0 sq.mm & one run of PVC conduit with accessories shall be measured as One length.

Supply, Install, Testing and Commissioning of 'Solar Hot Water System' (Flat Plate Collector) with heat exchanger of capacity 200 LPD with electrical heating back up all as specified and directed.
