PART- A CIVIL WORKS
Taking out doors, windows and clerestory window shutters (steel or wood) including stacking within 50 metres lead. Repair by cutting, painting etc. and refixing of repaired door/ window shutters to existing door frames, including replacement of hinges with screws, etc. as required, all complete as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge. Of area 03 sqm and below
Dismantling tile work in floors and roofs laid in cement mortar including stacking material within 50 meters lead. For thickness of tiles 10 mm to 25 mm Note: 1) Work have to carry out at various location, Quantity at each location may be less than 03 sqm. 2) Underneath old Mortar have to remove carefully with out damaging concrete. 3) Only Broken or bulged tiles have to remove using Glass/ Tile puller to avoid additional damages.
Demolishing dry brick pitching in floors, drains etc. including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 meters lead :
Dismantling old plaster or skirting raking out joints and cleaning the surface for plaster including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground within 50 meters lead.

Structural repair to the old damaged concrete structures with approved Make polymer ( Sunanda construction chemicals/Krishna con-chem. / FOSROC or equivalent) with following operations or as per manufacturers specifications.1) Removal of loose / spelled or damaged concrete by chipping and cleaning the concrete surface and reinforcement steel with wire brush and with water jet. 2) Cleaning the steel bars with approved rust remover and washing with water jet to make the surface free from Acid content. 3) Applying protective coat / bond coat using approved rust passivator. 4) Re-baring reinforcement with additional bars where area of steel bar found reduced less than 50% and applying approved polymer and cement in the specified proportion as per specification of manufacturers procedure . 5) Providing and applying polymer modified cement mortar as per manufactures specification in thickness 15-20 mm at a time. Including applying cement & polymer bonding layer to old concrete surface area before applying polymer modified mortar. Applying polymer & cement bond coat and further polymer modified mortar above the thickness of 20 mm up to 50 mm thickness wherever is necessary as per manufacturers specifications.
18 mm cement plaster in two coats under layer 12 mm thick cement plaster 1:5 (1 cement : 5 coarse sand) and a top layer 6 mm thick cement plaster 1:3 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand) finished rough with sponge.
Providing and laying water proofing treatment in sunken portion of WCs, bathroom etc., by applying cement slurry mixed with waterproofing cement compound consisting of applying : (a) First layer of slurry of cement @ 0.488 kg/sqm mixed with water proofing cement compound @ 0.253 kg/ sqm. This layer will be allowed to air cure for 4 hours. b) Second layer of slurry of cement @ 0.242 kg/sqm mixed with water proofing cement compound @ 0.126 kg/sqm. Disposing of the unwanted wooden pieces, tree branches, twigs, dried leaves, brocken glass, debris from TIFR Housing colony to MMRDA or MCGM dumping ground at New Mumbai, disposing the debris by mechanical / truck including loading unloading the debris from premises including cost of labour, tools & plants, mechanical means etc. complete all as directed by the Engineer-In-Charge.
Providing and applying one coat of white cement based wall care putty(Avg.1mm thick) of approved make over entire surface including preparing old painted surfaces by thoroughly scrapping oil bound distemper /acrylic emulsion / white wash etc, filling up the cracks, crevices, depression, holes, including sand papering and making surfaces even and smooth dusting /cleaning, applying one coat of approved cement primer, scaffolding , covering the furniture etc with tarpaulins or equivalent covering materials, cleaning of all surfaces etc.& disposing of debris outside colony etc. Complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. a) Two coats of synthetic oil bound distemper.
Repainting of old painted surfaces with two coats of synthetic oil bound distemper (on already prepared surface/ old similar painted surface) of Bison Acrylic Distemper of M/s. Berger/ Beauty of M/s. Nerolac/ Maxilite Acrylic Distemper of M/s. ICI / Tractor brand of M/s. Asian/ or other approved equivalent make of approved shade/ colour, including filling minor cracks, depression & minor touch up etc with approved putty and applying one coat of approved cement primer over rectified area only, including covering the furniture etc with tarpaulins or equivalent covering materials before applying, scaffolding, removal of splashing & droppings from floors, doors & windows, cleaning the surfaces etc. complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. a) Two coats of synthetic oil bound distemper.
Repainting of old painted surfaces with two coats of acrylic emulsion paint (on already prepared surface/ old similar painted surface) of Asian Premium Emulsion of M/s. Asian/Rangoli Super Acrylic Emulsion of M/s. Berger/Gold Acrylic Emulsion of M/s.Berger/Acrylic Dulux Super Smooth of M/s. ICI or other approved equivalent make of approved shade / colour, including filling minor cracks, depression & minor touch up etc with approved putty and applying one coat of approved cement primer over rectified area only, including covering the furniture etc with tarpaulins or equivalent covering materials before applying, scaffolding, removal of splashing & droppings from floors, doors & windows, cleaning the surfaces etc. complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. a) Two coats of acrylic emulsion paint.

Providing and applying three finished coats of acrylic based emulsion exterior coating (Over sand faced plastered surfaces / RCC Jalli / fins ) of Apex Ultima of M/s. Asian Paints / Excel of M/s. Nerolac / Heatshield of M/s. Dr.FIXIT / Weather shield Max of M/s. ICI Delux or other approved equivalent make and shade over the sand face / rough cast plaster/ RCC jalli / RCC fins at locations as required, including preparation in proportion of One litre of Apex Ultima or other makes with 400 ML. of potable water, thoroughly mixed and applied at an interval of 4-6 hours for each successive coats and ensure consumption of 0.27 litre/Sqm for 3 coats, including preparation of surface, cleaning and filling the cracks and crevices with Latex caulking crack filler etc. complete generally as per the manufacturer's specification and as directed by the EIC.
Removing white or colour wash by scrapping and sand papering and preparing the surface smooth including necessary repairs to scratches etc. complete. Note: This Item will be operated where the surface of wall present condition is of White or Colour wash finish as directed by Engineer in-charge.

PART- C ( Preventive repairs and Miscellaneous Works)
Cleaning of Over Head R.C.C.Tank including disposal of slit and rubbish, all as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. The cleaning shall consist following operations:- (i)Tank shall be emptied of water by pumping & bottom shall be cleaned of silt and other deposits. (ii) Entire surface area of the sump shall then scrubbed thoroughly with wire brush etc. and pressure washed with water. (iii) Chlorination of RCC internal surface by liquid chlorine. (iv) The treated surface shall be dried using air jetting and all loose particles shall be removal from the surface. (v) Finally the surface shall be treated with ultraviolet radiation etc. as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
