Periodical cleaning of equalizing tank/grit chamber/oil grease chamber/stilling chamber of Sewage water and removing by scrapping with wire brush or any other means from walls and bottom of tank and removing the sludge/silt/fungus deposited inside the sumps and tank with buckets and depositing where directed including removing media of settled down and making good the disturbed surfaces of walls internally or externally in cement mortar (1:3) as required and followed by cleaning with bleaching water solution and fresh water and finaly applying one coat of snowcem on internal and external surfaces including writing the date of cleaning and due date of cleaning in white colour on black background on external walls complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. (Location: 7BRD STP and capacity 250/300 KLD.) Note: The rate quoted by the tenderer is deemed to be included in the unit rate for the following aspects:- (a) Diesel driven pump set of appropriate capacity with operators including necessary POL required at site for de-watering of sewage septic water including PVC heavy duty flexible hose pipe for suction and delivery purpose. (b) Lorry or tractor mounted storage tank of appropriate capacity not less than 3 KL should be used for disposing off the same to the location where approved by the MCD. (c) Necessary oxygen mask, gloves, gum boot and all other safety aspects to be observed including necessary Phawda, Steel Bucket, Manila rope etc required at site shall be arranged by the contractor.

M&L for cleaning and desiIting the sewage well of capacity, dewatering the complete well of 100 to 125 Cum removing all the deposited sludge, soil and other material from the well including bailing / pumping out muddy water from the well by manually or by providing suitable pump sets from bottom level of well, scrapping out the scales / deposits from inner surface of the well thoroughly, washing with bleaching powder and soda ash, cleaning / bailing out settled materials completely by any means and removing sludge to a distance up to 3 km out side of defence land limit and dispose off in low lying area including dewatering as required. Note:- (i) Contractor is to arrange own diesel pump, T&P etc for cleaning purpose and minor spares and consumable like small screws, washers, cleaning agents consumables etc is deemed to be included in the cost, the unit rate quoted deemed to be include all safety precautions to be taken while working in Lift well. (ii) The accumulated/deposited sludge after drying shall be disposed off out side the defence land to a distance exceeding 1.5 KM and not exceeding 5.00 KM from the Lift well cost of which shall be deemed to inclusive in the quoted rate and nothing extra shall be paid on this account. (iii) Before commencement of work, necessary arrangement for disposal of sewage/sludge be made and work to be carried out in fast pace by deploying more man power at lift well in order to complete the work at the earliest.
