TTPS Operation Circle MPM II Unit IV and V mills Checking the alignment of mill motor with gear box and setting the axial and radial clearance for a period from 01.04.2026 to 31.03.2027

Charges for checking the axial and radial alignment between the motor and mill worm shaft by making use of 3 Nos. dial gauges, mounting the dial gauge fixtures on the shaft and setting the dial gauges on the fixtures and adjusting the motor and completing the alignment with in the prescribed limits.

Charges for removing the old coupling halves from the motor and worm shaft ends. The charges includes gas heating the new/old coupling halves in the motor shaft and worm shaft and assembling the new/ old coupling in motor shaft and worm shaft.

Charges for decoupling the cardon shaft from position keeping it on stand, cleaning the grid, spring and shaft, re-fixing the shaft to position, greasing and coupling with worm shaft and motor ends.

Charges for lifting the coal mill motor from bed, grinding the bed plate 4Nos to the required value of 4mm suitable for alignment of motor with coal mill coupling and repositioning the motor on the bed.

Charges for enlarging the existing holes of motor bed base plate by 5mm through out the depth by gouging and clearing for side alignment, per mill 4 holes.

Charges for loosening all the bolts and nuts of the mill gear box base plate, adjusting the gear box entire assembly for motor alignment by pulling or pushing and tightening of all bolts and nuts after alignment
