Repair/ maintenance/ cleaning of inaccessible roofs alongwith water proofing/ replacement of broken Mangalore tiles and other connected items in zone I to VI at CME

Removing existing/old damaged roof treatment of any (Brick tiles and Mudfuska) description by scrapping with using Wire Brush and removing the same from the site(s), complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note: Dismantling all water tanks and after roof treatment connect all tanks during working time if any tanks, float valves, GI pipes damaged contactor should replace the same (upto all stories)

M&L for roof treatment on existing concrete surfaces with the following Specifications:– (a) Rendering 10mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 including mixing of water proofing compound (WPC) as per Manufacturer’s instructions on cleaned concrete surfaces of roof after applying a neat cement slurry @ 3.0 KILO-GRAM PER SQUARE METRE, plastered Surfaces Fair finished including curing of plastered surfaces for 7 DAY by ponding of water over the roof (levelling course) and applying two coats of DR fixit coat over cement plaster (b) Applying evenly one coat of cold bituminous primer conforming to IS-3384-1986 @ 0.30 LITRE PER SQUARE METRE on the cleaned plastered surfaces. (c) Only a coat of blown hot bitumen of grade 85/25 @ 1.20 KILOGRAM PER SQUARE METRE on primed surfaces. (d) Applying a layer of APP based polymeric membrane, 3.0mm thick (minimum) weighing 3.0 KILOGRAM PER SQUARE METRE (reinforced) with polyester non woven fabric weighing not less than 160 GRAM PER SQUARE METRE by torch application. The overlap shall be minimum 100mm on traverse direction and 75mm on longitudinal direction and sealing overlap. (e) Applying evenly one coat of aluminium paint @ 0.10 LITRE PER SQUARE METRE over the APP based polymeric membrane. (f) PCC 1:2:4 type BO using 12.5mm graded stone aggregate for filleting and benching slightly rounded or chamfered on edges.

Dismantling tiling of single layer Mangalore Pattern roof tile laid dry complete all as specified and directed

All as per item No 03 above but bedded in lime or cement mortar complete all ,as specified and directed.

M&L for roof tiles, Mangalore Pattern, interlocking at side joints laid dry complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No.5 above, but except tile complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for ridge tiles, Mangalore Pattern, set and jointed in CM 1:6 complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No.7 above, but except Mangalore Pattern ridge complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling battens for tiles, shingles etc. of any size including tilting fillets spacing exc 15 cm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L 2nd class hardwood clean sawn battens at 30cm centres of sectional area exc 5 & not exc. 15 sqcm complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No.10 above, but except battens complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling timber scantling 40 sqcm and over in section in any position in framed work complete

M&L second class hard wood clean sawn in scantling fixed in framed work complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling boarding , any description in any position with nails complete all as specified and directed.

M&L 2nd class hardwood clean sawn weather boarding, plain, 20mm thick or feather edged 15mm to 20mm thick and fixed with 30mm laps complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparing the surfaces of wood and wood based materials new or old of any description and girth not otherwise described and treated with two coats of cresote oil complete all as specified and directed

M&L for preparing the surfaces of tiles battern any size and spacing prepared and treated all over (measured overall on one side only), spaces not deducted with two coats of cresote oil complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No.17 above, but one coat on old batten surface complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparing new surface of wood of any decription, not otherwise described over 10cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of pink primer complete all, as specified and directed.

S & F 110 mm dia PVC (SWR) pipes fixed as in spouts including cutting holes and making good and including dismantling of old existing pipe complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No.20 above, but 75mm dia complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repair 110mm PVC (SWR)bends complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No.22 above, but 75mm dia complete all as specified and directed.

Taking up or down GI steel Tubing of 15 mm bore of pipe connections including all fittings or removal all as specified and directed.

Taking up or down GI steel Tubing of 20 mm bore of pipe connections including all fittings or removal all as specified and directed.

S & F galvanised iron tubing 15 mm bore of pipe medium grade with and including all fittings & fixed complete to wall & ceiling or laid on floors including clamps all as specified and directed

S & F galvanised iron tubing 20 mm bore of pipe medium grade with and including all fittings & fixed complete to wall & ceiling or laid in floors including clamps all as specified and directed

Refixing old GI tubing 15 mm bore of pipe and fittings, to walls and ceiling or laying in floors in new or old position including cleaning as directed.

M&L for removing of trees and shrubs any size alongwith grass roots from surroundings of water storage tanks by manually with the help of sharp tools and filled up small holes with PCC (1:2:4) Type B0 (12.50mm graded stone aggregate) finished surface even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed

M&L for cleaning roof surfaces/valley gutters by removing bushes, leaves, grass etc Note: Work to be carried out at approximate 10-16 mtr height all as specified and directed.

Refixing old GI tubing 20 mm bore of pipe and fittings, to walls and ceiling or laying in floors in new or old position including cleaning as directed.

M&L 20mm bore dia ball brass valves, high pressure with polythene float and flynut complete screwed for iron pipe or brass ferrule complete all as specified and directed.
