Survey for Locating Underground Utilities in PGIMER Chandigarh
Carrying out the survey for locating underground utilities by using advanced equipment such as Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) along with the preparation of diversion plans, Location and depth of the underground utilities (water drainage, sewer line, HT cable, LT cable, OFC cable & other all activities etc.) has to be marked by combined Total Station and Differential Global Positioning System (DGPS), co-ordinates at every 10-meter length, for all utilities for straight run & in case of curved/bend location, co-ordinate at every 2 meters has to be worked out by the contractor.
The Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) survey shall be carried out using a 250 MHz ultra-wideband antenna with 3D data processing capability, enabling detection of underground utilities up to a depth of 8.0 metres. The survey shall include identification and mapping of all existing underground services such as electrical cables, communication cables, pipelines and other utilities within the specified corridor. Detailed topological drawings shall be prepared indicating the horizontal alignment, depth and location of all detected utilities. The location of utilities shall be referenced with accurate measurements from the nearest permanent landmarks and centre line of the nearest track/corridor.
All survey drawings and reports shall be submitted in soft copy (PDF and AutoCAD formats) and hard copies. The entire work and documentation shall be carried out as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supplying and making cable route marker with cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 20mm nominal size ) of size 30 cm x 10 cm x 100 cm including inscription duly engraved as required and approved by EIC.
Providing and laying in position specified grade of reinforced cement concrete, excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement - All work up to plinth level :
Providing, hoisting and fixing above plinth level up to floor five level precast reinforced cement concrete work in string courses, bands, copings, bed plates, anchor blocks, plain window sills and the like, including the cost of required centering, shuttering but , excluding cost of reinforcement with 1:1.5:3 (1 cement : 1.5 coarse sand (zone-III) derived from natural sources : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size derived from natural sources).
Steel reinforcement for R.C.C. work including straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position and binding all complete upto plinth level.Thermo-Mechanically Treated bars.
