The offered product by the firm must be included in their product list uploaded on Railway Board website. If any firm offers a product which is not available in the Railway Board approved product list, that offer will be liable to be rejected. If firm is not in approved list of RB than it to be purchased from firms which are approved by PCMD for purchase as per DPP.

The medicines and drugs are reserved to be purchased from firms registered with Railway Board and manufacturing unit of the offered product should be inspected and passed fit by Railway Board. If firms or offered product by firms are not in approved list of RB than it to be purchased from firms or product (make/brand) which are approved by PCMD for inclusion to purchase as per DPP. However, in case of medical stores other than medicines such as rubber goods, consumables, implants and appliance etc. not covered under the new drug policy guidelines issued by Railway Board, the purchaser reserve its right to purchase it from the firms registered with NWR Jaipur, who are either manufacturing, marketing or even distributing agency for the product offered. In such cases the inspection of manufacturing unit is not mandatory

The tender enquiry is send to all the registered firms. However the offer of the firm will be consider only if firm is registered for the tenderd item with railway board. Firms are advise to offer for the item for which it is registered with RB

The firm will mention name(s) of specific stores of area where such drug is being sold in the open market. The zone will undertake random 5% check to establish that the product quoted by the firm is actually available in the store(s) mentioned by the firm. Further, if at the point of time of inspection such drug is not available in the Store (s) due sale of available stock, the retailer will be asked to provide a copy of purchase memo/supply order of the product from the firm.

The bidders are required to quote rates for one tablet/capsule.

The bidder confirms that rates and other financial terms quoted in relevant columns of financial bid will only be ruling terms for acceptance, and such terms quoted anywhere else should be ignored. (Denial of this condition not recommended).

Please enter the percentage of local content in the material being offered. Please enter 0 for fully imported items, and 100 for fully indigenous items. The definition and calculation of local content shall be in accordance with the Make in India policy as incorporated in the tender conditions.

By consignee after receipt.

Make in India policy will be applicable as per the conditions of the tender documents attached & it is in line with the guidelines issued by Railway Board vide Letter No. 2020/RS(GY779/9/PL.2 dated 03.12.2020. The purchase will be made from only those firms who have more than minimum local content as prescribed in the make in India policy. However this policy will not be applicable for small purchases having value less than 5 Lakh.

Shelf Life: The remaining shelf life of the offered products should not be less than 80% of the total shelf life or it should not older than 6 months from the date of manufacture (whichever more) at the time of supply or as per tender condition

Drug analysis report from manufacturer own laboratory / Govt. recognized laboratory must accompany the each consignment without fail with each batch of medicine

Where drug sample on analysis are found to be not confirming to standards, the supplies are required to replace the whole quantity free of cost with other batch along with analysis report. The decision of the ZR/PU about the salt being sub standard will be final and binding on the manufacturing and marketing unit

Packing: Each strip / packet / bottle that contains the drug should have a printing / stamping of North Western Railway supply not for sale except for items under rate contract or where items are required urgently or on short notice. Firm is requested to put your holograms on their products if possible

The item should be as per demand and specification with full eligibility and be original to the brand. OEM will stand a guarantee for the Item to be supplied through their business partner/authorized dealer/RSRs and the warranty should be for 02 Yrs. from the date of supply.
