Replacement of 3 cusec, 71m head pumping unit, motor and starter with LT control panel along with allied works at LIS Garnai

Dismantling of existing horizontal centrifugal pump and three phase induction motor from its installed position after decoupling the pump- motor assembly, disengaging of suction and delivery pipes by cutting of damaged/rusted nuts and bolts by gas cutter. Extraction of damaged embedded base frame from the old RCC block and shifting of the disengaged pumping machinery to the stacking place. Laying of New RCC Foundation Block for the pumping unit at Lift irrigation scheme Garnai by way of complete dismantling of existing Foundation block by way of deploying skilled and unskilled labour with the help of tools and tackles as required at site including cutting of reinforcement steel, anchor bolts. The job also include disposal of excavated debris. Laying of new RCC block of suitable size as per the size of the base plate of the pumping unit to be installed in cement concrete work in 1:1½:3 ratios. It includes providing, straightening, cutting, bending, binding and laying in position of 10mm dia reinforcement steel including shuttering proper curing and finishing of exposed portion. The job includes fabrication and erection in position of anchor bolts with one end threaded and other end at the base concreted with the anchoring. The job may include any other fabrication work required for proper fitting/alignment of pumping unit as per site conditions. The foundation bolts are to be welded to steel reinforcement of foundation block in proper alignment and spacing with respect to base frame properly leveled and sealed to the required position. Placing of base frame on newly constructed RCC foundation block. Complete job including cost of material, carriage, labour, consumable and hire charges and mobilization of connected machinery/equipment, handling, loading, unloading, transportation, stacking and repair to surrounding floor damaged during dismantling and installation work. Providing/ Fitting and installation of Raw water H.C split casing pump of 03 cusec discharge, 71 meter head compatible with 10 inch diameter suction and delivery pipes copled with appropriate low speed motor at LIS Garnai on the newly installed base frame in place of exiting pumping unit. Recommended make of Pump(Low speed) : - Kirloskar, KSB, Mather Platt, Beacon Weir, Jyoti Type of Pump : - Split Casing Recommended make of Low speed Motor : - Kirloskar, ABB, Alstom, etc. Fitting of new pump assembly on the base frame using chain pulley block,tripod stand, tools and tackles coupling with suction and delivery pipes with the pump assembly using appropriate modifications that may include bends, reducers, or any other extensions on delivery and suction sides of pump so as to make a proper fit of pipes as per site conditions. Providing, Fitting and Installation of suitable motor unit on the new base frame with help of chain pulley block, tripod stand and manual labour. Fitting the motor assembly with help of nuts, bolts and washers. Fitting of new C.I. Coupling/ flexible coupling to the motor shaft, coupling the pump & motor assembly with the help of rubber bushes, nuts & bolts as required. Checking the alignment of the pump and motor assembly with the help of tools and tackles. Replacement of approximately 50 meters length 37/16 copper cable from motor to starter, thimbling the flexible copper cable with copper thimbles with help of crimping tool. Complete testing of the motor and pump assembly on ideal load and then on full load capacity. Complete job includes cost of material, consumable, handling, loading, unloading, transportation charges including head load. The job also includes cost of skilled /semi-skilled labour, hire charges of tools and tackles required during the execution of the job at site.
