Renovation and Up-gradation of Administrative Block (Left out area) by providing Pre-painted sheet roofing (Phase-II) in HP University, Shimla-5.

Providing and fixing precoated galvanised iron profile sheets (size, shape and pitch of corrugation as approved by Engineer-in-charge) 0.60 mm (+ 0.05 %) total coated thickness withzinc coating 120 grams per sqm as per IS: 277, in 240 mpa steel grade, 5-7 microns epoxy primer on both side of the sheet and polyester top coat 15-18 microns. Sheet should have protective guard film of 25 microns minimum to avoid scratches during transportation and should be supplied in single length upto 12 metre or as desired by Engineer-in-charge.The sheet shall be fixed using self drilling /self tapping screws of size (5.5x 55 mm) with EPDM seal, complete upto any pitch in horizontal/ vertical or curved surfaces, excluding the cost of purlins, rafters andtrusses and including cutting to size and shape wherever required.

Steel work welded in built up sections/ framed work, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer using structural steel etc. as required. a). In gratings, frames, guard bar, ladder, railings,brackets, gates and .similar works.

Providing and fixing precoated galvanised steel sheet roofing accessories 0.50 mm (+ 0.05 %) total coated thickness, Zinc coating 120 grams per sqm as per IS: 277, in 240 mpa steel grade, 5-7 microns epoxy primer on both side of the sheet and polyester top coat 1518 microns using self drilling/ self tapping screws complete : a) Ridges plain (500 - 600mm)

a)      Barge board (Upto 300 mm)

Providing and fixing hard drawn steel wire fabric 25x25 mm mesh of weight not less than 3.2 kg per sqm. To exisating steel window frames etc. including welding rigidly &including a priming coat of red lead paint complete on all respect as per directions of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and fixing M.S. B.P. Sheet 1.66mm to 2mm thick in eaves board /fascia/soffits/ceiling including cutting, fixing and welding to steel roof members and applying a coat of red lead primer complete as per the instructions of Engineer-in-charge. (Base members of steel work shall be measured and paid separately).

Preparing the surface to receive waterproofing treatment by making the surface ready to receive water proofing treatment. Cleaning the surface with wire brushes to clean smooth and dry surfaces, free of any loose particles/reinforcement bars/debris etc. Providing and applying primer coat as per site requirement and complete in all respects including all leads, lifts and carriage of material at site as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge allowing drying gap between successive coats .Providing and fixing fibre glass mesh tape on the joints. Applying PU Sealant on all grooves and joints. Providing and applying 3 final coats of elastomeric liquid applied UV resistant Duomax Top on the prepared surface as per site requirement and complete in all respects including all leads, lifts and carriage of material at site as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge allowing drying gap between successive coats.

Preparing the surface to receive waterproofing treatment by removal of previous plaster or waterproofing treatment and making the surface ready to receive waterproofing treatment. Cleaning the surface with wire brushes to clean, smooth & dry surface, free of any loose particles/reinforcement bars/debris etc. Grooving and cleaning all the existing cracks and repairing them with modified mortar. Providing and applying base coat of Dubond in the ratio of (1:0.5) i.e.,1 Cement : 0.5 Dubond on the cleaned surface complete inall respects including all leads, lifts and carriage of material at site as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge, allowing 3 hours gap between successive coats.
