Earth work in cutting in ordinary soil, (non abadi part) excavation to be in the form of regular pits not exceeding 1/2 metre (20") in depth and earthwork in embankment to be in 20 cm(8") layers, including ramming & dressing the surface to required levels and slopes and also including 1.5 metre (5fts) lifts and 30 m. (100") lead, The earth from cutting to be used in making filling or to be deposited as spoil banks within 30 metres (100 fts) distance as directed by Engineer-in-charge. (Rate is Including Royality) Schedule Item no. 253.

Providing, laying and spreading 10 cm thick granular sub base material on a prepared sub grade. adding cement @ 2 % by weight to the spread material manually, mixing in place with rotavator and compacting with the road roller at OMC to achieve the desired unconfined compressive strength and to form a layer of sub-base as per MORD specification.

Providing, laying and spreading 14 cm thick GSB material on a prepared sub base, cement @ 4% by weight to the spread material manually mixing in place with rotavator and compacting with the road roller at OMC to achieve the desired unconfined compressive strenght and to form a layer of sub base as per MORD specification.

Low porosity providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer @ 0.70 kg./sqm using mechanical means as per MORD technical specification clause 502

Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen VG-10 using bitumen distributor @ 0.30 kg / sqm on the prepared dry and hungry bituminous surface cleaned with Hydraulic broom as per MORD technical specification clause 503

Providing and laying and rolling of open-graded premix carpet of 20 mm thickness composed of 13.2 mm to 5.6 mm aggregates either using penetration grade bitumen or emulsion to required line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base, including mixing in a suitable plant, laying and rolling with a three wheel 80-100 kN static roller capacity, finished to required level and grades to be followed by Seal coat of Type C as per MORD Technical Specification Clause 508.

Providing and laying seal coat sealing the voids in a bituminous surface laid to the specified levels, grade and cross fall using Type C as per Technical Specification MORD sepecification no. Clause 511

Hiring 1 No. Diesel vehicle (Innova/Scorpio) with its driver and maintenance, including cost of diesel for inspection of site. Vehicle should not older than 5 year from Tender publishing date.
