Step 1 :- Wet Mix Macadam(WMM) base course of graded stone aggregate and grannular material confirming to MORTH specifications shall be prepared in an approved mechanical mixing plant of suitable capacity having provision for controlled addition of water and forced/ positive mixing arrangement like pug mill or pan type mechanical mixer of concrete batching plant, the mixed material shall be uniformly wet & no segregation shall be permitted .
Step 2 :- Immediately after mixing, the mixed Material shall be carriage by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers spread uniformly and evenly upon the prepared sub-grades/sub-base/base in required quantities. In no case shall be dumped in heaps directly on the areas where these are to be to laid nor shall their hauling over a partly completed stretch be permitted. The mix shall be spread by a paver finisher, finishing the surface even and smooth in level without any undulations.
Step 3 :- After mix has been laid to the required thickness, grade and cross fall/camber the same shall be compacted to the full depth compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density as per MoRTH Technical Specifications clause 406 with vibratory roller, finishing the surface even and smooth in level without any undulations.

Material & Labour for applying evenly a priming/tack coat over prepared Bituminous Macadam surfaces, with bituminous primer of paving bitumen VG 10 @ of 2.5 kg per 10 square metre with power spray compressor to the entire satisfaction of Engineer in Charge including preparation of BM surfaces ; complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer In Charge.
Material & Labour for 40mm thick (consolidated thickness) premixed hot mix Asphaltic Semi Dense Concrete carpet using 5.5% of binder contents using Paving Bitumen of grade VG-30 by weight of total mix , rolled , consolidation & compacted to required camber and gradient with 08 to 10 tonne power road roller and to required gradient and camber ; complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer In Charge. Note :- Premixed hot mix Asphaltic Semi Dense Concrete shall be laid by means of self propelled mechanical paver, finishing with suitable speed and capable of laying, spreading, tamping and finishing.
Material and labour for preparing existing black top surface by wire brushes for removing cacked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the clean surface with mechanical compressore to remove all loose dust/dirt etc and including applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminious primer using Paving Bitumen of Grade VG 30 @ 5 kg per 10 Square Metre on black top surface ; complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer In Charge.

Material and labour for painting line, dashes, arrow, letters etc on road pavement of new/old black top surface road surface and applying one coat of retro reflective thermoplastic road marking paint 2 mm thick & width not exc 10 cm for longer durability with 8% glass beads using special applicator machine fitted with profile shoe heater driven by experianced operator on road surfaces on including preparation of new/old treated surfaces, cleaning surfaces of all dirt, scales, oils, grease & foreign materials etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in charge with heating arrangement upto 160 degree celcius. (d) Applying Fourth & Final Coat of fiber reinforced elastometic liquid water proofing membrane as described in para (a) above but undiluted @ 0.45 Litres Per Sqm of roof surfaces as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (e) The water proofing treatment shall be carried out by the authorised applicator of manufacturer, Contractor shall submit a triparty agreement (between contractor, said manufacturers of Fiber Reinforced Elastomeric Liquid Water Proofing Membrance and their Authorised Applicator) on Non Judicial Stamp Paper to GE and shall be approved by the GE before commencement of roof treatment work at site(Refer Schedule "A" notes).
